AUGUSTA Bills Phillip Gaines Jersey , Ga. (AP) Tony Finau injured his left ankle celebrating a hole-in-one during the Par-3 Tournament at the Masters and then seemingly popped it back into place.

Finau flew the back of the seventh green on the Par-3 course at Augusta National and spun it back into the hole for an ace. He started running toward the hole to celebrate, then turned and backpedaled before landing awkwardly on his left ankle. He dropped to one knee and ended up pushing the joint back into place.

Finau, ranked No. 34 in the world, ended up withdrawing from the event but stuck around for the final two holes. He gingerly walked to a golf cart and was driven off the course.

Tom Watson won the exhibition at 6 under, one shot better than Tommy Fleetwood and Thomas Pieters.

Jack Nicklaus’ grandson, who was caddying for the six-time Masters winner Cheap Jeremiah Attaochu Jersey , made a hole-in-one at No. 9.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) – Robert Griffin III is poised to resume his NFL career about 35 miles from where it started.

The former Washington Redskins quarterback agreed on a one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens, who love the idea of having the 2011 Heisman Trophy winner backing up 10-year starter Joe Flacco. Griffin’s previous stop in an injury-riddled career came in 2016 with the Cleveland Browns. He started five games, winning one.

BOSTON (AP) – A social media message to New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman led police to a teenager who posted a threat about shooting up his school.

The New York Times reported Edelman received a message from a concerned Instagram follower late last month who told him about the threat to ”shoot up” a school in the comments section of his account.

Edelman notified his assistant, Shannen Moen, who called police and they tracked down a 14-year-old boy in Michigan who admitted to posting the threat about his middle school.

Police officials say the boy was charged with making a false report of a threat of terrorism.

Edelman called the man who tipped him off ”the real hero” and says he plans to send him a gift.

DENVER (AP) – Broncos linebacker Von Miller is potentially in hot water after a social media post in which he posed with a bloody hammerhead shark that was caught on a fishing expedition.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has received the images and video from the trip and is ”looking into whether or not a violation occurred in this incident Authentic Kennys Vargas Jersey ,” said Carol Lyn Parrish, the commission’s public information coordinator. No further details were available.

There’s video of the group trying to put the shark back in the water. The harvesting of hammerhead sharks is a second-degree misdemeanor in Florida. It’s punishable by up to a $500 fine and 60 days in jail, as determined by a judge.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) – The Eagles and tight end Richard Rodgers agreed on a one-year contract.

Rodgers has spent all four of his NFL seasons in Green Bay. He had 12 catches for 160 yards and one touchdown in 2017. They were career lows in each category.

DENVER (AP) – NL batting champion Charlie Blackmon made a long-term commitment to the Colorado Rockies rather than test next season’s free-agent market, agreeing to a contract that guarantees $108 million over six seasons.

The two-time All-Star center fielder had agreed in January to a $14 million, one-year deal. His new agreement calls for a $2 million signing bonus payable within 30 days of the deal’s approval by the commissioner’s office, a $12 million salary this year and $21 million in each of the next three seasons. Blackmon has player options of $21 million for 2022 and $10 million for 2023 Ravens Lamar Jackson Jersey , and his 2023 salary can escalate up to $5 million based on plate appearances in 2022.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) – East Carolina hired Joe Dooley of Florida Gulf Coast as men’s basketball coach. The school said Dooley agreed to a five-year contract to begin his second stint as the Pirates‘ head coach. He went 57-52 in four seasons from 1995-99 before he was replaced by Bill Herrion.

”Denver is a punter’s paradise,” King said after signing a three-year, $7 million deal with the Broncos on Thursday, less than a week after his surprising release from the Oakland Raiders.

King said he doubts his oft-flagged on-field antics is what led new Raiders coach Jon Gruden to release him. The sixth-year pro who had appeared in all of the Raiders’ games since 2013, was a Pro Bowl alternate last season and a second-team All Pro in 2016. He’s the only punter in NFL history to post at least a 40-yard net average in each of his first five seasons.

”I’ve always enjoyed punting out here in the altitude just because the ball travels further,” King said. ”It’s something I’m going to have to get used to, too. I definitely have to get a feel for my leg when it comes to putting the ball inside the corners and everything.”

He said he plans to continue his celebrations following big punts in Denver Cheap Jason Sanders Jersey , but aims to avoid the 15-yard flags that dogged him in Oakland.

”I’m still going to have fun. I’m still going to dance and still celebrate. I’m going to be me. Nothing is going to stop me from being me,” King said.

”Now it’s time to find a new celebration because that was one when I was trying to troll y’all,” King said on a conference call with Denver media. ”Now I’ve got to find something else. It’s definitely going to be a nice little dance. We’ll figure something out.”

And he realizes he’ll have to pick out a new number, too, because boss John Elway’s No. 7 isn’t going anywhere.

”I’ve got to take him out to a nice steak dinner, but I don’t think that’s going to work. I was thinking about getting him a helicopter or something Cardinals Chase Edmonds Jersey , a big gift,” King said. ”But I don’t think he’s going to give that `7′ up. I’ve got to figure out another number.”

OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) – Ryan Spooner scored twice and Tuukka Rask made 25 saves in Boston’s victory over Ottawa.

Coach Vance Joseph said Friday that Donald Stephenson tore his left calf muscle at practice a day earlier when linebacker Corey Nelson also suffered a season-ending elbow injury.

Stephenson, the third right tackle to get hurt in a five-day span, and Nelson were expecting big roles Sunday when the Broncos (3-2) visit the Chargers (2-4).

Stephenson was preparing for his first start after Menelik Watson (calf) and backup Billy Turner (hand) were both hurt in Denver’s 23-10 loss to the Giants. Turner underwent surgery and was placed on injured reserve.

Joseph said 10-year guard Allen Barbre will start at right tackle now.

”It’s unfortunate to have as many injuries as we have, but we have a real deep room,” guard Ron Leary said. ”Guys know that they’re going to be playing different positions. We’re prepared. We have a great coach. We have a great game plan. We’ll just go out and execute on Sunday.

”Allen has played right tackle before. He’s ready for the challenge and I know he’ll do a great job.”

UFC star Conor McGregor has turned himself into police in the wake of a backstage melee he instigated that has forced the removal of three fights off UFC’s biggest card of the year.

Video footage appears to show the promotion’s most bankable star throwing a hand truck at a bus full of fighters Authentic Kyzir White Jersey , after a press conference for UFC 223 at Barclays Center.

McGregor was being processed and no charges had been filed as of Thursday night.

Video showed McGregor with a group of people causing chaos Thursday as they took an elevator to the loading dock at Barclays Center. He can be seen tossing trash cans and being prevented from throwing a barricade at a bus during his unannounced appearance in New York.

The New York Police Department said McGregor threw a hand truck at a bus causing minor injury to an individual on the bus. UFC said three fights on Saturday’s UFC 223 card have been scrapped as a result of the incident.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) Tiger Woods attracted most of the attention. Jordan Spieth caused the most concern.

Opening day at the Masters had a wide-open feel until Spieth hit his stride. He saved three straight pars with that superb short game. He ran off three straight birdies to take the lead. And then he fired an 8-iron at the pin on the par-3 16th, letting the club twirl through his hands as he walked away, knowing only that it was another good one. It plopped down 5 feet away.

Spieth took only 10 putts on the back nine. He made five straight birdies, a career best for him in the majors. Even a bogey on the final hole felt like a par the way he navigated out of the trees and limited the damage with a pitch that stopped inches from going in.

That gave him a 6-under 66 and a two-shot lead over Tony Finau and Matt Kuchar.

Woods has some catching up to do. He failed to birdie any of the par 5s. He was under par one only one hole. He hit a 9-iron into Rae’s Creek. And only a pair of birdies over the last five holes enabled him to scratch out a 73 and at least stay in range, seven shots behind.

”I told the guys after the game, `Good job of bailing me out.’ It was tough,” Lue said. ”First game back and not having a point guard and not knowing what sets to call and what to run because you haven’t worked on it. Earlier in the day, Lue, who guided the Cavs to an NBA title in 2016, described his ordeal in some detail for the first time. Lue said he had been bothered by chest pains for more than a year, but when they worsened during a March 17 game in Chicago, he realized it was time to step away and get help.

CHICAGO (AP) – The Chicago Blackhawks are not making changes behind the bench after missing the playoffs for the first time in a decade.

Team President John McDonough told reporters Thursday that he plans to bring back both coach Joel Quenneville and general manager Stan Bowman after a dismal season for a team that has won three Stanley Cup championships since 2010 but stumbled to a last-place finish in the Central Division this season.
