Casey Hayward got the raise he deserved after two standout seasons for the Chargers.

The Pro Bowl cornerback agreed to a three-year Authentic Customized Jets Jerseys , $36 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

The Chargers and Hayward’s agent, David Mulugheta, confirmed the deal. NFL.com first reported the extension.

Hayward gets $20 million guaranteed after two Pro Bowl seasons for the Chargers, who signed him in San Diego as a free agent from Green Bay in 2016. The six-year pro has played in every game since moving to the West Coast, getting 11 total interceptions while drawing the toughest defensive assignments for the Chargers’ much-improved defense last year.

”Got to thank the (at)Chargers and the Spanos family for everything,” Hayward tweeted. ”Believing in a guy everybody said was a NICKEL guy and giving him a chance to flourish outside. 3 more years and counting. Let’s push for that ring.”

Hayward had played his way into a starting role for the Packers in 2015 after beginning his career mostly as a slot defender Geron Christian Jersey Elite , but Green Bay let him walk – and Hayward immediately became one of the NFL’s best defensive backs with the Bolts. The website Pro Football Focus graded Hayward as the NFL’s best coverage defender last season.

Hayward had one year remaining on his initial free-agent contract. He joins several key defensive players with the Chargers who are locked into long-term deals, including Joey Bosa, Melvin Ingram and Jahleel Addae.

After winning nine of their final 12 games and barely missing out on a playoff spot, the Chargers likely aren’t looking to overhaul their defense during the free agent period. They hope to re-sign starting safety Tre Boston, but he could command top dollar on the market after his strong season.

The Baltimore Ravens signed offensive lineman James Hurst to a four-year contract Monday, keeping him off the free agent market while providing stability in front of quarterback Joe Flacco.

Hurst started all 16 games in 2017 Authentic Jake Guentzel Jersey , the fourth consecutive season he played in every game with Baltimore. He started at left guard in 15 games and at left tackle on Nov. 19 against Green Bay, subbing for the injured Ronnie Stanley.

Signed as a rookie free agent in 2014, the 26-year-old Hurst has been used at guard, tackle and on special teams.

"This is good news for our football team," coach John Harbaugh said. "James is a reliable, tough and versatile player who has played a lot of football for us. He has started at both tackle and guard Rick Leonard Jersey Elite , and all he has been is productive and someone who has made us better."

In 2017, the 6-foot-5, 317-pound Hurst was part of an offensive line that allowed only 27 sacks, tied with Minnesota for seventh fewest in the NFL.

By signing Hurst, the Ravens now have 10 unrestricted free agents.

"This feels great," Hurst said. "I've been here four years already Quenton Nelson Youth Jersey , so I'm really excited to come back for four more and build on what we started."

Also Monday, the Ravens freed some salary cap space by releasing cornerback Lardarius Webb.

Webb, who played nine seasons in Baltimore, wrote on Twitter: "Thank you Baltimore it's been a great run."

CLEVELAND BROWNS (0-16)

OPEN CAMP: July 26 Cheap Tarvarius Moore Jersey , Berea, Ohio

LAST YEAR: Browns hit new low 鈥?and that's saying something 鈥?by joining 2008 Detroit Lions in infamy as only teams to go winless in 16-game schedule. Nothing went right. Decision to start rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer backfired as he led NFL with 22 interceptions. Browns were better than their record but consistently found way to lose. Team suffered huge blow when perennial Pro Bowl offensive tackle Joe Thomas tore triceps in Week 7 and missed remainder of season. General manager Sashi Brown was fired in December.

IMPORTANT ADDITIONS: GM John Dorsey, offensive coordinator Todd Haley, QB Tyrod Taylor, WR Jarvis Landry, rookie QB Baker Mayfield, LB Mychal Kendricks Cheap Calvin Ridley Jersey , QB Drew Stanton, RB Carlos Hyde, DB Damarious Randall, rookie CB Denzel Ward, rookie RB Nick Chubb, rookie OL Austin Corbett.

IMPORTANT LOSSES: OT Joe Thomas, RB Isaiah Crowell Rams John Kelly Jersey , QB DeShone Kizer, DT Danny Shelton, CB James McCourty, CB Jamar Taylor.

CAMP NEEDS: Coach Hue Jackson has spent offseason touting Taylor, who led Buffalo to playoffs last year, as Week 1 starter. But things could change if No. 1 overall pick Mayfield shows he's ready. Plan is to bring him along slowly, but when have things ever gone as planned for Browns? Loss of Thomas leaves enormous hole that may take time to fill. RT Shon Coleman will get first crack Youth Da'Ron Payne Jersey , but there are other options, including Greg Robinson, former No. 2 overall pick by Rams who has been bust.

EXPECTATIONS: Owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam stuck with Jackson despite 1-31 record over two seasons. He's lightened his load by turning offense over to Haley, who spent past six seasons running Pittsburgh's high-powered attack. Taylor gives Browns seasoned, proven QB who could stabilize position, but Jackson will feel heat to play Mayfield. Browns will be under more national scrutiny as featured team for HBO's "Hard Knocks." WR Josh Gordon has been on best behavior after years of suspensions. If he can stay clean and play alongside Landry, Browns could have one of league's most potent passing games. DE Myles Garrett had solid rookie season Steelers Cheap Jerseys , looking to have monster second year.

The Houston Texans could be in the market for a backup quarterback or more help in the secondary on the last day of the draft.

The Texans have a fourth-round pick, three picks in the sixth round and one in the seventh on Saturday.

Houston re-signed veteran Brandon Weeden this offseason to back up Deshaun Watson and also added Joe Webb at the position, but could still find another option in the late rounds.

The Texans were able to address several needs when they chose safety Justin Reid, offensive lineman Martinas Rankin and tight end Jordan Akins in the third round.

Houston could look for a cornerback to team with starting cornerbacks Johnathan Joseph and Kareem Jackson, who are both in their 30s.

.
The Denver Broncos have signed Mark Chapman Youth Tre'Quan Smith Jersey , a rookie wide receiver from Central Michigan University who was the top overall selection in the 2018 Canadian Football League draft.

Chapman didn't sign with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and now is taking a longshot at playing in the NFL, an opportunity that arose after two receivers failed to report to training camp this week.

Carlos Henderson, a third-round pick out of Louisiana Tech last year, is dealing with a family situation, his agent said, and Jimmy Williams, an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina who received a $10 Buccaneers Game Jerseys ,000 bonus, also was placed on the reserve/did not report list.

The Broncos have a dozen receivers on their roster, including incumbent starters Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders and 2018 draft picks DaeSean Hamilton and Courtland Sutton.

With veteran Jordan Taylor returning from offseason hip surgeries, there's an abundance of receiving talent the likes of which the Broncos haven't had since Peyton Manning was the one throwing the passes.

Henderson faces a tough task to make the 53-man roster when 鈥?and if 鈥?he shows up. He missed his rookie season with a thumb injury after an unimpressive training camp and in January was arrested in Louisiana on a marijuana possession charge. He missed much of this year's offseason program with a lingering hamstring injury that led coach Vance Joseph to call him out.

"He's got to get back on the field if he wants to make this football team," Joseph said during the team's mandatory minicamp last month.

— As much as he tries to downplay the significance, Oakland Raiders coach Jon Gruden is fully aware Friday’s exhibition game against the Detroit Lions will be anything but an ordinary preseason contest.

It’s been 17 years since Gruden last roamed the sidelines at the Coliseum with the Raiders. He came back in 2004 with Tampa Bay and again in 2012 as a television analyst.

Gruden’s iconic status among Raiders fans promises to make this time different. Much, much different.

“I am looking forward to it DJ Chark Jersey Elite ,” Gruden said Wednesday after the second of two joint practices with the Lions. “I’m looking forward to it big-time. I’ve got some things obviously I’ve got to work out. So I’ve got to work myself through calling plays again and managing some tough situations. I’m anxious to see if I can do it.”

Gruden developed a cult-like following during his first stint as the Raiders coach from 1998-2001. Those feelings didn’t wane when Gruden was traded to Tampa Bay by late owner Al Davis and only strengthened when the coach went into the television booth.

Gruden showed his appreciation in 2009 while in town to broadcast a San Francisco 49ers game when he held a party at Ricky’s, a Raiders sports bar not far from the Coliseum.

Gruden held another party at Ricky’s three weeks ago to celebrate his return and paid for dinner and soft drinks for the fans. About 600 people showed up.

“It’s an honor to be here and it’s a great story, but I also just want to do everything I can in order to try and help this team win again,” Gruden said. “I love the Raider fans. I love Oakland and that’s the primary reason I’m standing here.”

Lions coach Matt Patricia developed a friendship with Gruden while he was defensive coordinator in New England and the Raiders coach was working at ESPN.

Gruden’s return, Patricia said, is good for the NFL.

“If you meet with him, you’re gonna find a guy that absolutely loves football from its core Youth Deadrin Senat Jersey , all the way out, every aspect of it,” Patricia said. “He loves to coach and I think he loves to be around the players. I think it’s great for the game. I think it’s great for the Raiders organization.”

The rest of the storyline around Friday’s game is fairly antiseptic.

Quarterback Derek Carr and the rest of Oakland’s starters will only play a series or two, with the majority of playing time being doled out to the rookies and fringe players on the roster.

“This game is not about Derek Carr, not yet,” Gruden said. “It’s about finding the right 53 men, and I think you saw it today http://www.steelersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-terrell-edmunds-jersey , we’ve got a lot of contenders. There are a lot of guys that have put themselves on the brink of making this football team and we’ve got to make sure we give them every opportunity to showcase their skills.”

Notes: Former Raiders Warren Sapp and James Jones attended practice, along with ex-Lions coach and current NFL Network analyst Steve Mariucci. . LT Donald Penn continues to rehab from offseason foot surgery and is getting closer to getting back on the field. “Our trainer is pleased with the progress that he’s made,” Gruden said. “Hopefully that time is soon.”

Bill Peters has not been able to lead the Carolina Hurricanes back to the NHL playoffs and after coming up short following his fourth season with the club Tony Romo Cowboys Jersey , announced Friday that he is resigning.

”I feel like this is a good time to move on,” Peters said in a statement issued by the team, ”and I am looking forward to my next challenge.”

Peters went 137-138-53 in his lone head coaching job in the NHL. He had one season left on the contract extension he signed in 2016.

New team owner Tom Dundon said he has ”a lot of respect for Bill as a person and coach.”

The move leaves the Hurricanes looking for a new general manager and head coach. Hall of Fame player Ron Francis was reassigned to another front-office position during the season.

”I feel the incoming general manager should have the ability to hire his own head coach,” said Peters, who was hired by Francis in 2014.

The 53-year-old Peters figures to be a candidate for other openings around the league – including a team in his home province.

The Calgary Flames fired Glen Gulutzan earlier this week after missing the playoffs in his second season. Peters is a native of Three Hills http://www.lionsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-kerryon-johnson-jersey , Alberta, who played college hockey in that province at Red Deer College under coach Mike Babcock – who eventually hired him as an assistant with the Detroit Red Wings.

Peters left the Red Wings’ staff four years ago to take his first NHL head coaching job with Carolina, but was unable to end the team’s playoff drought, which at nine years is one of the longest in NHL history.

The Hurricanes have made the postseason just once since winning the Stanley Cup in 2006, and just twice in 15 seasons. This will be their third coaching change since their last playoff appearance in 2009.

Expected to be a playoff team this season Mark Andrews Color Rush Jersey , Carolina finished 14 points out of a postseason spot and in sixth place in the eight-team Metropolitan Division.

There’s been plenty of change over the past four months for the Hurricanes, who will have turnover in three key spots on the organizational roster.

Longtime owner Peter Karmanos Jr. sold the majority interest in the team to Dundon in January, and the Dallas billionaire shook things up when he reassigned Francis to the role of president of hockey operations. The new GM will report directly to Dundon.

Peters’ frustration became evident following a critical 3-1 loss to San Jose in February that cost them a chance to move into playoff position. After that game, Peters called his team out, repeatedly using the word ”disappointing” while promising lineup changes that ultimately never came.

More NHL hockey: With a nod to their in-town NFL cousins Clay Matthews Jersey Elite , the Atlanta Hawks will offer new fan-friendly concessions pricing plan they say is the first of its kind in the NBA.

The plan for more affordable menu items accompanies the completion of the second phase of an extensive renovation of Philips Arena in October.

The team says the new fan-friendly menu features price cuts of up to 50 percent, including $5 beer. The Hawks say Philips Arena will be the first NBA venue with the pricing plan.

The Hawks 鈥?considered a longshot to be a playoff contender next season 鈥?quickly acknowledge they didn't devise the plan.

They say motivation came from the NFL Falcons' success with similarly affordable pricing at their new Mercedes-Benz Stadium, adjacent to Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta. The Hawks also were inspired by affordable concessions prices at the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia.

Alexander Wennberg will return to the Columbus Blue Jackets‘ lineup for Game 5 at the Washington Capitals.

Coach John Tortorella confirmed his return about an hour before puck drop on Saturday. Wennberg was back after missing Games 2 Cheap Kolton Miller Jersey , 3 and 4 after a hit to the head from Washington’s Tom Wilson. Tortorella says Wennberg replaces Sonny Milano in the lineup.

Wennberg, the Blue Jackets’ second-line center, had developed chemistry with Boone Jenner and Thomas Vanek before being injured. His return restores Columbus’ depth down the middle and helps on the power play.

Capitals coach Barry Trotz said if Wennberg was back in it would help the Blue Jackets but expressed confidence in his four centers – Evgeny Kuznetsov, Nicklas Backstrom, Lars Eller and Jay Beagle – to match up with any opposing line.

The teams are tied at 2-all in the series. Game 6 is Monday night in Columbus.

The Atlanta Falcons couldn’t wait to show the biggest crowd to attend one of their practices their stadium’s fully functioning retractable roof.

The Mercedes-Benz Stadium roof was closed for all but one Falcons regular-season game in the facility’s 2017 debut season. The Falcons proved the roof is now ready for action by opening and closing the structure before Sunday’s rare stadium-based training camp practice.

”It was cool to see it open today, for sure,” said quarterback Matt Ryan.

All the same Calvin Ridley Color Rush Jersey , Ryan was grateful to see the eight massive petals on the camera lens-like retractable design close again. After practicing in the heat for the first two days of training camp, cool temperatures for an indoor session were a welcome change.

”We weren’t mad that we were in air conditioning today for training camp,” he said, smiling.

Coach Dan Quinn said he is looking forward to more open-air home games this season.

”How many times in this part of the country have we all driven to the stadium and said `Man, this would be one awesome day to have it open,”’ Quinn said. ”I think that will be a really significant part of the fan experience here.”

The Falcons said more than 60,000 tickets were distributed for the practice. The team called the practice a sellout Authentic Denzel Ward Jersey , even though there were empty seats, because all the tickets available, at $5 each, were sold. The Falcons said it was a team record for a training camp practice.

The large turnout led Falcons owner Arthur Blank to remember the Falcons holding training camp at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, when he bought the team in 2001.

”A huge day was 200 people,” Blank said. ”We don’t practice normally at MBS Jalyn Holmes Jersey Elite , but it’s incredible. I think it’s a great tribute to the fan base, a great tribute to the organization and the relationship we’ve built with the fans. I’m thrilled to be here today to watch it and enjoy it.”

Sunday was the team’s first practice in pads. Quinn said his players always are motivated by the first practice when hitting is allowed. He said it was an extra perk for the players to practice before a much bigger crowd than can attend training camp at the team’s practice facility in Flowery Branch, Georgia, about an hour north of downtown Atlanta.

”When I told them what we were doing, they were really pumped to hear how many people would be here for practice today,” Quinn said. ”It does add an element of excitement where the performance for practice ramps up a little more with so many fans here.”

After seeing their scoring offense decline from No. 1 in the NFL in 2016 to No. 15 last season, the Falcons put an emphasis on running plays inside the 20 in their 11-on-11 drills.

The practice ended with Ryan scrambling to his left and passing to Mohamed Sanu for a touchdown.

NOTES: DE Takkarist McKinley was held out with a bruised right shoulder. He has had surgeries on both shoulders the past two years. ”We’ll see what it looks like for tomorrow Tyler Flowers Jersey ,” Quinn said before adding McKinley could have other scheduled days off in the next two weeks. RB Ito Smith (foot) and OT Ty Sambrailo (right hand) also are considered day to day after being held out. WR Calvin Ridley, who had a minor hamstring injury on Saturday, practiced and showed no sign of the injury. … Training camp returns to the team’s practice facility on Monday before a day off on Tuesday.

The first thing Andrew Luck noticed about rookie guard Quenton Nelson was his back.

He calls it the biggest he's ever seen. And he's not the only guy doing double-takes of his new Trent Brown Jersey Patriots , massive personal protector.

Veteran guard Matt Slauson talks about Nelson's expansive shoulders and enormous chest. Longtime left tackle Anthony Castonzo dubbed Nelson an immovable refrigerator on reporting day.

Regardless of the description, they seem apt for the newest addition to another revamped Indianapolis Colts offensive line.

"At guard, you want one of those people that if he's walking down the street and someone comes and runs at him full speed, that person is going to get knocked out," Castonzo said. "He's got that ability that when people run into him, they move, and he doesn't."

The Colts have spent years searching for someone with Nelson's punch.

Andrew Luck took more than 400 hits from 2012-16, the highest total among quarterbacks in the league Youth Derrius Guice Jersey , and has been sacked an astounding 156 times in 70 career starts.

All those shots finally caught up with Luck. He missed nine games with assorted injuries in 2015, made 15 starts in 2016 despite playing through shoulder pain and missed all of last season to rehab from surgery for a partially torn labrum in his throwing shoulder.

If it wasn't obvious Indy needed to invest in protecting Luck after he signed a $140 million contract extension in 2016, three consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance made the next step clear.

So the Colts went big.

They selected the 6-foot-6, 330-pound Notre Dame linemen No. 6 overall in April's draft 鈥?the first guard selected that high in more than two decades.

He has not disappointed at training camp. Nelson has already shown c he's capable of stoning more experienced defensive linemen, using his flexibility and balance to keep his body in front of pass rushers and flicking away opponents with a quick swipe of his strong hands.

"There's a reason an offensive guard was picked sixth overall," said Jack Mewhort, the Colts' former starter and a second-round pick in 2014. "Obviously, we haven't played the game yet Phillip Gaines Jersey Elite , but from everything I've seen, he's lived up to it so far. He's the man."

The first real test comes Aug. 9 at Seattle. But Colts fans got a glimpse of what to expect when the Colts put on full pads for the first time last weekend.

In Saturday's one-on-one drills, Nelson managed to recover from the initial punch of a 305-pound defensive tackle then stood his ground and drove the defender backward.

General manager Chris Ballard and coach Frank Reich expected nothing less after watching his college tape and hearing him explain his goal would be breaking the will of an opponent.

"He just brings a lot of power, but then you've also got his young, bulldog tenacity that is a lot of fun and fun to watch," said Slauson, now in his 10th NFL season. "I don't have a lot of the athletic tools he has, but I consider myself a big-bodied guy and I like to bring kind of a nastiness myself. What I am going to try and do with him is help him grow in the game as fast as he can."

Nelson and rookie guard Braden Smith Tarvarius Moore Color Rush Jersey , a second-round pick, could change the whole complexion of the franchise.

With Luck signed through 2021 and center Ryan Kelly, a first-round pick in 2016, coming back from an injury-plagued second season, Nelson and Smith could help the Colts plug what has been a leaky interior line.

"Ryan has been a big help for me," Nelson said. "He's the smartest guy in the room. He knows all of the assignments. He's been a huge help for me on and off the field."

Instead, Nelson lets his play, intensity and size speak for themselves.

"He did approach me in the hallway (Saturday) and I was a little shocked because it was the first day in pads http://www.redskinsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-da_ron-payne-jersey ," Reich said, laughing through his answer. "I won't get into the details of what he was saying exactly, but let's just say he was excited to be in pads."

Notes: Tuesday's practice was moved inside because of rain, but Reich said he thought the Colts reacted with energy and emotion. Longtime center Jeff Saturday attended the workout. ... Austin Howard, who should battle for the starting right tackle job, was activated from the nonfootball injury list Tuesday. Reich said Castonzo (hamstring) and starting safety Clayton Geathers (offseason knee surgery) were "real close" to being activated from the physically unable to perform list "very soon." ... Linebacker Anthony Walker is expected to miss several weeks after injuring his groin during Sunday night's practice.

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard George Hill will miss Game 4 at Indiana because of back spasms. He will be replaced in the starting lineup by veteran Jose Calderon.

Coach Tyronn Lue made the announcement Sunday about 90 minutes before tip-off and says he’s not sure if Hill would be ready for Game 5 on Wednesday.

Hill aggravated his back in Friday’s 92-90 loss and was struggling to move over the past two days. The three-time defending Eastern Conference champs trail the Pacers 2-1.

Calderon scored five points in 13½ minutes in the Cavs’ Game 2 victory but did not play in Game 3.

Tristan Thompson also should see more playing time Sunday after logging 1 minute, 59 seconds in the first three games.

Someone is going to gamble on Michael Porter Jr.

He insists it’ll pay off.

There is an element of danger involved with every NBA draft pick Seahawks Rasheem Green Jersey , in that nothing is guaranteed. There isn’t a player that epitomizes the risk versus reward thinking in this draft more than Porter Jr., who could get taken as high as No. 2 by Sacramento or go several picks lower because of uncertainty surrounding his health.

Back problems that necessitated surgery limited his lone college season to three games at Missouri, and a scheduled Friday workout was called off because of hip spasms. There’s still a chance he will do a workout before draft night and teams have gotten access to new medical information that would seem to suggest he’s ready for the NBA – but still, skepticism may be understandable.

”I’m feeling great,” Porter Jr. said.

Find out Thursday night which team believes him the most.

He’s 6-foot-10 and is usually categorized as a power forward, though in an NBA that’s now largely positionless Porter Jr. could wear a lot of hats. He’s already shown a complete skillset – passing, dribbling, shooting – that would translate to playing basically anywhere except center. He weighed 211 pounds last month at the Draft Combine Jets Chris Herndon Jersey , meaning there’s still plenty of room on his frame to add strength.

His college highlights are basically nonexistent: Porter Jr. scored 30 points in 53 minutes of action with the Tigers. Porter Jr.’s reputation is largely built on what he did as a high schooler when he was considered the best prospect in the country, and there was a workout earlier this month arranged by agent Mark Bartelstein earlier this month where he got rave reviews.

”He showed that he’s alive and well and moving,” said Memphis general manager Chris Wallace, whose team has the No. 4 pick – and has been linked to Porter Jr. by many prognosticators. ”I would say (he) passed that first test.”

Alive, well and moving would seem to be the absolute basic prerequisites for a team to be satisfied about when preparing to use a lottery pick on someone, but Porter Jr. vows that whichever team grabs him won’t be disappointed.

”I just feel like in today’s game, there’s guys that can do anything on the floor,” Porter Jr. said. ”And that’s how I kind of view myself.”

Porter Jr. played two minutes in his college debut in November Ravens Mark Andrews Jersey , then underwent back surgery – a microdiscectomy of the L3 and L4 spinal discs – about a week and a half later. He returned for an SEC Tournament game against Georgia, then put up 16 points and 10 rebounds in Missouri’s loss to Florida State in the NCAA Tournament.

The injury went back to Porter Jr.’s sophomore year of high school, when he got hurt while getting hit on a dunk attempt.

”He’s a very versatile player,” former Georgia coach Mark Fox said. ”And I’m thankful that the kid’s gotten healthy because he was a terrific talent. … He’ll be a top-five selection. I remember watching him in high school, and he’s as complete of a player as there was at that level.”

That’s what Porter Jr. wants NBA teams to remember before making their selection.

He believes he’s the best player. But with every indication that Deandre Ayton will go No. 1 to Phoenix, the intrigue starts at No. 2 and Porter is surely getting a real long look from the franchises that have the other top-10 spots, those being in order Sacramento, Atlanta http://www.coltsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-kemoko-turay-jersey , Memphis, Dallas, Orlando, Chicago, Cleveland, New York and Philadelphia.

”It’s about getting in the right situation,” Porter Jr. said. ”I don’t need to go No. 1. I don’t feel like I have an ego that makes me want to go No. 1. I just want the right situation for me.”

Former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Johnny Manziel will make his debut in the developmental Spring League on April 7.

The Spring League will play in Austin, Texas Seahawks Cheap Jerseys , from March 28 to April 15. The league is designed for players hoping to impress NFL scouts.

Manziel also threw at a Texas A&M pro day Tuesday.

Manziel won the Heisman as a freshman with Texas A&M in 2012 and left school after his sophomore season for the NFL. He was drafted in the first round by the Cleveland Browns but was cut in 2016 and hasn't played since.

Manziel played nine games with the Browns in two seasons, passing for 1,675 yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions.

His Spring League debut will be broadcast on Turner Sports new streaming service "Bleacher Report Live," which will launch in April.

Brandon Beane is happy he's still around to tell the story of when the Buffalo Bills pegged quarterback Josh Allen to become their heir-apparent starter.

The amount of film the Bills general manager watched, games attended and people he interviewed before drafting the Wyoming quarterback in the first round was nothing compared to the hair-raising experience Beane and the team's brain trust had visiting Allen in mid-March.

"Ha, ha Trent Murphy Jersey Bills , ha, you want that story?" coach Sean McDermott said, after Beane first mentioned how "interesting" their trip was to Laramie, Wyoming.

Sure, was the response, during an hour-long session McDermott and Beane held with reporters in June. By agreement, the contents of the interview were not allowed to be published until Thursday.

Beane shook his head in describing the turbulence the Bills' private jet experienced during landing.

"We were coming in over the mountains, and the plane started just going like this," Beane said, bobbing his arm up and down. "Literally, our heads are going off the ceiling."

Beane and co-owner Terry Pegula, who had been watching video of Allen, suddenly started grabbing anything they could get their hands on 鈥?seatbacks and armrests 鈥?to steady themselves.

While McDermott remained calm, Beane said offensive coordinator Brian Daboll was in near hysterics.

"Daboll is face-timing with his wife. And every expletive Mike White Jersey Cowboys , like, 'It's over,'" Beane said.

"It was like Fred Sanford: 'I'm coming home!'" he added, referring to the character played by Redd Fox in the 1970s sitcom "Sanford And Son."

Upon finally landing, the pilot informed them the turbulence was the result of what's referred to as a mountain wave, which occurs occasionally when planes fly over high terrain.

Once they gathered their breath, the Bills then proceeded with meeting Allen, and put him through a workout.

Without providing Allen with a script of plays beforehand, Daboll began yelling out situations to see how quickly the quarterback could digest the information and make a throw.

"It was, 'All right, the deep dig. Now. Five-step, this. Go.' And he processed it quickly," Beane said. "His workout was very good. And when we left there, we felt very confident."

They were confident enough to give up two second-round picks to Tampa Bay and trade up five spots to draft Allen at No. 7.

Where their confidence wavered involved what bumps they might encounter upon leaving Laramie.

"We were a little distracted about how we were getting out of here Authentic Keke Coutee Jersey ," Beane said. "It was like, 'Where do we drive to have the plane meet us?'"

Here are a number of other notable topics discussed during the session:

McDERMOTT OWNS UP

Beane revealed how McDermott owned up to Bills players by acknowledging he erred in starting rookie quarterback Nathan Peterman over Tyrod Taylor in a bid to provide Buffalo's sputtering offense a spark in Week 11.

The switch backfired , with Peterman benched after throwing five interceptions in the first half of a 54-24 loss at the Los Angeles Chargers, that extended Buffalo's skid to three games.

"Sean stood up there and he owned the Tyrod decision," Beane said. "He said, 'It didn't work. We tried it. And I'm trying to win every week. And unfortunately that decision didn't work out for various reasons. Tyrod's our starter.'"

The Bills responded with a 16-10 win at Kansas City the following week as part of a season-closing 4-2 run to finish 9-7, and end a 17-year playoff drought.

CHARTING ALLEN

To address questions regarding Allen's accuracy, Bills scouts turned to game tape to chart every throw he attempted. They assessed what caused the incompletions, including times he threw the ball away when his receivers weren't open.

The Bills also took into account Wyoming's offensive philosophy, which didn't include many short passes.

"He had no gimme throws," Beane said of a quarterback who went 152 of 270, in completing just 56.3 percent of his passes, with 16 touchdowns and six interceptions in 11 games last year.

The only real concern was Allen's footwork, which Beane said notably improved by the time he played at the Senior Bowl in January.

"I'm not saying it's fixed Dolphins Game Jerseys ," Beane said of Allen's footwork. "But improved."

QB COMPETITION

McDermott has no intention of rushing Allen into a starting job once training camp opens in suburban Rochester on July 26.

Allen earned limited time with the starters during Buffalo's three-day mandatory minicamp in mid-June. He spent the previous 10 practices working with the third-stringers, while Peterman and free-agent addition AJ McCarron split time with the starters.

McDermott previously coached in Carolina and Philadelphia, and noted how quarterbacks develop differently.

Whereas, Cam Newton started immediately during his rookie season in 2011 in Carolina, Donovan McNabb waited until Week 7 in 1999 to make his first start in Philadelphia.

"There's no exact way to do it, right? It's about bringing him along the right way," McDermott said. "We're not going to put him out there unless we feel like he's ready."

Beane concurred, while adding: "Whether he plays zero games or 16 games, we're going to put out the guy that gives us the best chance to win each Sunday."

The massive football stadium complex at Hollywood Park is currently a bustling construction site. The $2.6 billion project won't welcome fans through its doors for another two years.

But the Rams and the Chargers are eager to show you to your seat.

Los Angeles' two NFL teams will begin selling season ticket memberships for their new stadium for the first time next week. Both will start with only their premium seating Ravens Elite Jerseys , offering an array of privileges and amenities befitting the sizable price tags for the best 13,000-odd seats in what could be the most expensive arena in the world.

With relocation fading into memory after a pair of winning seasons in LA, both franchises are eager to move into the bright future promised by the palatial project rising in Inglewood. The 70,240-seat arena will also host the Super Bowl, the College Football Playoff title game and Olympic events in its first decade of existence after it opens in 2020.

"This has been a long time coming," said A.G. Spanos, the Chargers' president of business operations. "When I was at USC, we were talking about a new stadium in LA back then. This has been a slow pot to boil in Los Angeles, but the future is here. This venue is incredibly exciting."

In an office building in coastal Playa Vista, the teams will begin showing off the project to their fans on Tuesday, starting with visits from many current season ticket holders for both clubs. The sleek LA Stadium Premiere Center features detailed scale models, video hype reels and a staff with carefully curated sales pitches for the privately financed project spearheaded by Rams owner Stan Kroenke.

"It's exciting when you fly in and you see the steel coming out of the ground, or when you drive up and you see the stadium starting to take shape," Rams chief operating officer Kevin Demoff said. "And now this is the first chance the fans really get to participate in being part of the stadium and seeing Stan's vision come to life."

The Rams and Chargers have also unveiled the first prices for tickets 鈥?and the prices for the stadium seat licenses that provide the opportunity to buy tickets.

Instead of selling the now-ubiquitous personal seat licenses Cheap Marcus Davenport Jersey , with which fans pay a sometimes-hefty fee for the opportunity to buy their tickets, the Chargers and Rams are selling a similar concept with a similar name, but one big difference: For the first time in NFL stadium history, that money will be returned to the fans 鈥?albeit in 50 years.

Instead of the naked cash grab of a PSL, the SSL is essentially an interest-free loan to finance the stadium construction. The structure also allows both the teams and the fans to avoid paying taxes on the licenses.

"We really feel like they are making an investment, and they're a shareholder in the team and the stadium project," Demoff said. "For us, rather than fan money going to taxes, it can go directly to the construction of the building. It builds a better building, and it requires no taxpayer money to do so. It's a unique concept that we expect will be replicated from here on out."

The Rams' stadium seat licenses will begin at $100,000 for the stadium's 500 "all-access" seats, located in two sections on either end of the 50-yard line. The Chargers' SSLs will be $75,000 for the same seats, which include food and beverages Sam Darnold Jersey Elite , access to clubs, special parking and the guaranteed opportunity to buy tickets to the Super Bowl and every other event controlled by the stadium owners.

Those prices are higher than the most top PSLs for many recent NFL stadiums, but significantly lower than the reported $150,000 charged by the Dallas Cowboys for their top seats at AT&T Stadium, which opened in 2009. The 49ers charged $80,000 for the PSLs for the top 1,000 seats at Levis Stadium, which opened in 2014.

The Rams' remaining SSLs for the premium seats range from $80,000 to $15,000, with most falling in the lower category for club seats. The Chargers' other SSLs range from $50,000 to $10,000.

The Rams and Chargers are confident the structure will help as they persuade fans to pay for the licenses while knowing they'll get all the money back in 2068 鈥?or at least their heirs will.

Once the SSL is purchased, the Rams' tickets for those premium seats are $375 per game Martavis Bryant Color Rush Jersey , and the Chargers' are $350.

Both teams obviously will sell the other three-quarters of the stadium at much lower prices, and the ticket prices won't change during the stadium's first three years.

"It's very hard to compete at the highest level if you don't have a first-class facility, and that's something that our family has been working toward for a long time," said John Spanos, the Chargers' president of football operations. "We're excited that it's here soon."

Michael Vick's second try for a football championship in Atlanta will come as a coach.

Atlanta was announced on Wednesday as the choice to join Orlando as franchises in the new Alliance of American Football that will begin play next February.

The Atlanta Alliance has hired former NFL coach Brad Childress as its head coach. Vick, the former Falcons quarterback, will serve as Childress' offensive coordinator.

"I want to bring a championship to the city of Atlanta," Vick said. "It's always been a dream of mine, and now I have another shot."

Atlanta is the second city to get a franchise in the league that was created by Pro Football Hall of Fame member Bill Polian and longtime TV and film producer Charlie Ebersol. The Alliance has a television deal with CBS and plans to open its first season the week after the Super Bowl.

Vick, 37, was the top overall pick in the 2001 NFL draft by Atlanta and was a three-time Pro Bowl selection during his time with the Falcons (2001-06). His stay ended in disgrace.

Vick served 18 months in prison following his guilty plea for a dogfighting operation in his native Virginia. He returned to play five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, followed by short stints with the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers.

In 2017, he was welcomed back to the Falcons family by owner Arthur Blank in a retirement ceremony for Vick and receiver Roddy White.

Vick took the Falcons to the NFC championship game in 2004 but never reached the Super Bowl.

"When I accepted the job and thought about what it would take to bring this city a championship, I knew that I needed to bring Michael Vick back to Atlanta Authentic James Neal Jersey ," Childress said. "His connection with the city is undeniable, and his 13 years of NFL experience will make him a tremendous asset to our team. I saw firsthand his innate ability to bring out the best in those around him and I'm confident that together, we're going to build something special for the city of Atlanta."

Vick said he has "a love and passion for teaching the game of football."

"I've learned so much over the course of my career, playing for and being mentored by some of the best coaches in all of football," he said. "I'm committed to paying it forward, helping players grow and putting some of my ideas into action on the football field. To do this in Atlanta just makes it that much sweeter."

Another veteran coach, Steve Spurrier, is in charge of the Orlando team.

"There is a tremendous amount of players and coaches who deserve a chance to compete at a professional level, but only a limited and finite amount of roster spots and positions in the sport today," Childress said. "The Alliance of American Football offers an exciting opportunity for players and coaches to launch or continue their career at the professional level during the spring, and I'm particularly impressed with its strong focus on the relationship between players, fans and the game."

The team will play at Georgia State Stadium, the former Turner Field that was home to baseball's Atlanta Braves.
