“I don’t know if we can keep that pace of the last two weeks,” Rivers said. “But if we do, we will be in pretty good shape.”

“He was starting off last year like he has been playing these last two games,” Rivers said. “He was devastated. Now you see that he is healthy.

“He’s got great instincts so he understands how to get open. And it’s just his understanding of the game. The Browns can’t sink much deeper. They have lost 26 of the 27 games in which Jackson has been the head coach.

“I’m not there so I don’t know what the chemistry or the makeup of the team is,” Lynn said. “I just watch the tape and they play extremely hard. They are desperately trying to get that first win for their coach.”

Lynn said that’s just not coach-speak and the Chargers know it.

“Just bring the truth, tell them the truth, that this team is dangerous, they are winless,” Lynn said. “They are looking for their first win and they are going to play their butts off to get it.”

Among the Browns’ chores is keeping Joey Bosa (10.5 sacks) and Melvin Ingram (8.5) out of the backfield. The Chargers’ 32 sacks are fourth-best in the league.

But Gordon, a one-time problem child for the Browns, is back.

“I have big plans for him,” Jackson said. “I plan for him to play and play as much as he can handle.”

Prior to New England’s easy 23-7 win over the Falcons on Sunday night, the Patriots became the first team in NFL history to allow at least 300 yards passing in each of its first six games.

Now comes Rivers, who had two 300-yard games in the 0-4 start but has thrown for 258, 268 and 183 in the three wins.

And, of course, Rivers comes in joined by tight end Antonio Gates Authentic Chase Utley Jersey , always a headache for opposing defenses.

“Phil is a tremendous player, a great competitor, a really smart player,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said Wednesday, adding he got to know Rivers while coaching him in a Pro Bowl. “He’s a real football guy like Tom (Brady), like Peyton Manning, guys like that. They’re just deep into it.

It was his way of telling viewers on CBS and later on ESPN that the final minutes of a game no longer in doubt might still mean something to people with money on the point spread.

The guys in the desert aren’t just his friends. They’re part of his business now, five days a week in a million-dollar glass booth inside the sports book at the South Point hotel at the end of the Las Vegas Strip.

Musburger is looking live these days in the middle of a bustling casino sports book, where bettors with big wads of cash line up at the windows to take their chances against bookies equally determined to leave them empty handed.

It’s there that Musburger and his guys fill listeners in on the latest odds and trends. It’s there that they also hope to knock another hole into the perception that sports betting is somehow immoral and sleazy.

”There’s a part of the population that thinks this is some kind of a dirty business,” Musburger says. ”I tell people all the time it’s as clean as it gets with all the regulation they have.”

The 78-year-old broadcasting icon is the face of the Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSIN), a fledgling company started by his nephew, Brian Musburger. Unlike other sports betting information services VSIN doesn’t sell picks but delivers information 24 hours a day on Sirius XM radio.

So far there seems to be demand, and the network went from 12 hours a day to 24 this month. There are also plans for marketing a simulcast and selling newsletters.

Just don’t expect appeals for 1-900 numbers or a ”lock of the week” for sale.

Musburger laughs when it’s suggested he has become a tout. Though he has experience on betting sports since the days he used to come to this gambling town as a baseball writer for a Chicago newspaper on his way to cover the Dodgers late in the season, he’s no more than a recreational bettor himself.

”You’d go broke if you listen to everything I say,” Musburger said. ”I’m not a handicapper. But as the process goes on hopefully I can give out a couple pieces of information that somebody can take and use when they bet.”

On a recent Friday, Musburger was in the booth talking about the possibility of the U.S. Supreme Court overturning the sports betting act of 1992 when it hears arguments next month on New Jersey’s challenge to the federal law. It’s a widely watched case many think could lead to legal sports betting expanding far beyond its traditional home in Nevada.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry took it personally when Tennessee started slowly Sunday.

The two running backs made sure they finished with a flurry.

Henry delivered the body blows with five strong runs midway through the fourth quarter and Murray finally punched it in from 1 yard with 5:59 left Authentic Rashaan Evans Jersey , giving the Titans a 20-16 win and their first victory in 10 tries at Lucas Oil Stadium.

”These are 60-minute ballgames. They are not 30 minutes; they are not 45 minutes. They are 60-minute games,” coach Chuck Pagano said. ”Plenty of opportunities to put that team away, we didn’t take advantage of those opportunities.”

Instead Murray and Henry handled the ball on 13 of the Titans’ last 15 plays, including the TD run, before Mariota dropped to his knee three straight times to close it out.

Colts: Cornerback Rashaan Melvin left after injuring his hand on the first Mariota interception and did not return after having an X-ray. Starting center Ryan Kelly was held out in the second half because of a concussion.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Nick Foles contemplated retirement after a miserable season with the Rams in which he ended up losing his starting job to Case Keenum.

That’s just one spin of a unique quarterback carousel that’ll be on display when Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) host Keenum and the Minnesota Vikings (14-3) in the NFC championship game Sunday.

”It pretty wild Brandon Parker Jersey Elite ,” Foles said. ”Case’s success and the way he plays doesn’t surprise me because him and I were together and we prepared together. We were around each other every day. But I think the big message there is no matter what happens, you’ve just got to keep believing in yourself, keep working hard and just never give up.”

The cycle began when former Eagles coach Chip Kelly traded Foles to the St. Louis Rams for Sam Bradford in March 2015. A day later, the Rams acquired Keenum from the Houston Texans to back up Foles.

Foles went 4-7 in 11 starts for the Rams before he was benched for Keenum. Meanwhile, Bradford had a decent season with the Eagles, but was traded to Minnesota a week before the 2016 season opener to pave the way for Carson Wentz. The Vikings needed Bradford to replace the injured Teddy Bridgewater. Bradford had a career year in 2016.

Foles asked for his release from the Rams after they moved to Los Angeles and drafted Jared Goff No. 1, one pick ahead of Wentz. Foles seriously considered hanging up the cleats before Andy Reid – who drafted him in third round in Philadelphia in 2012 – persuaded him to join the Kansas City Chiefs as a backup to Alex Smith.

Foles played well in two games in relief and then returned to Philly on a two-year deal to provide insurance behind Wentz this season. Keenum helped groom Goff in Los Angeles last year and then went to Minnesota to back up Bradford.

Keenum stepped into the lineup in September after Bradford was injured and had by far the best season of his career Authentic Jeremy Kerley Jersey , passing for 3,547 yards, 22 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. Foles took over in Philadelphia after Wentz tore his ACL in Week 14.

Now, the former teammates are one win away from starting in the Super Bowl.

”I know this is what all of you guys predicted back in the day, a Foles vs. Keenum NFC championship,” Keenum joked. ”So good job to all of you guys who predicted that.”

The Eagles are fortunate Foles chose to keep playing a year ago.

”I talked a lot to my wife and I remember just saying a prayer,” Foles recalled. ”Going to back to play for coach Reid Kareem Martin Jersey Elite , I am a better person because of that decision. It wasn’t an easy decision. But I leaned on my wife, I leaned on my family and I leaned on my faith in those moments, and I’m very grateful I made the decision.”

Foles started six games his rookie season, going 1-5 on a 4-12 team that got Reid fired after 14 seasons in Philadelphia. He began 2013 as the backup to Michael Vick in Kelly’s first season in the NFL and ended up having a sensational year, leading the Eagles to an NFC East title.

He threw 29 TDs and only two picks – including playoffs – and posted a passer rating of 119.2, third highest in league history. He tied an NFL record with seven TD passes in a game at Oakland in November 2013.

Foles wasn’t quite as spectacular in 2014, but the Eagles were 6-2 in his eight starts. He tossed 13 TDs Authentic Dorian O'Daniel Jersey , 10 interceptions and missed the final eight games after breaking his collarbone.

Then he went to St. Louis and struggled on another one of Jeff Fisher’s losing teams. Keenum, an undrafted free agent in 2012 who bounced around from with the Texans and Rams, also didn’t have much success playing for Fisher. Neither did Goff. All three have thrived playing for other coaches.

”You’ve just always got to believe and you always have to prepare,” Foles said. ”Sometimes things happen where unfortunately guys get injured and you have to step in and it’s your job to lead the team. (Keenum) has really done an amazing job. It doesn’t surprise me. That was my job stepping in for Carson to lead this team like I have before.”

Foles completed 77 percent (23 of 30) for 246 yards in a 15-10 win over Atlanta last week.

Keenum, 9-15 as a starter before joining the Vikings, followed his breakout season by leading Minnesota to an improbable comeback win against the Saints, tossing a 61-yard TD pass to Stefon Diggs as time expired.

The two quarterbacks are good friends off the field.

”Nick is a great guy Robert Golden Super Bowl LI Jersey ,” Keenum said. ”Great faith, great family. My wife and his wife are great friends. His entire family are good people. Great football player. Prepares well, extremely talented, big arm and he’s really, really athletic, too. I know he’s got a lot of confidence and I’m looking forward to playing against him.”
