HOUSTON (AP) Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson donated his first NFL game check to three NRG stadium employees who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Watson surprised three women who work in the team cafeteria at the stadium on Wednesday. Watson donated about $27 Authentic Luke Falk Jersey ,000 of his base salary of $465,000.

BALTIMORE (AP) Tom Savage understands the requirements of his job as an NFL quarterback.

Rule No. 1: Protect the football.

As a result, the Canucks (25-32-9) will be without their top scorer when they host the Arizona Coyotes (20-34-11) on Wednesday night.

“It’s unfortunate for sure,” Canucks coach Travis Green told reporters after the team held an off-ice workout Tuesday. “Obviously, (Boeser) has had a great rookie season Authentic Andre Ethier Jersey , and the good news is: he will have a full recovery.”

Boeser was injured in the final minute of the third period of Monday’s overtime win over the New York Islanders as he was knocked into an open players-bench gate. The club said he suffered a minor fracture in his lower back and a soft-tissue injury.

“He’s got a small fracture, but he’s going to be fine,” said Green. “He walked out of the hospital, and I know there is a lot of concern because you talk about a back, but those things do happen with players. It’s obviously magnified, because it’s (Boeser).”

But he certainly has the skills to keep going.

Fitzgerald caught nine passes for 119 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. He even got his first career completed throw, a 21-yarder to Jaron Brown.

The performance made him, at age 34, the oldest player to top 100 catches and 1,000 yards receiving in the same season.

RARE SHUTOUT: The Cardinals hadn’t shut out an opponent since beating the Giants 17-0 on Dec. 12, 1992.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) The Philadelphia Eagles keep losing key players and are still winning games thanks to No. 11.

Carson Wentz tossed four touchdown passes and ran for a career-best 63 yards Jeremy Kerley Super Bowl LI Jersey , helping the Eagles overcome losing nine-time Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters in a 34-24 win over the Washington Redskins on Monday night. Linebacker Jordan Hicks also went down with an ankle injury.

Peters was carted off the field and Hicks left the stadium on crutches. Coach Doug Pederson didn’t have any updates on their status after the game.

”This is a resilient group and we’ve seen it over the first two months of the season,” Pederson said.

They’ll be fine as long as Wentz is under center.

The second-year quarterback made one highlight play after another in front of a national audience. Wentz has led the NFL-best Eagles (6-1) to five straight wins and is an early front-runner for MVP.

”He is amazing,” receiver Nelson Agholor said. ”I talk about how great and how athletic he is and how he has a great arm, but the attention to detail Authentic Craig Kimbrel Jersey , the film study, the professionalism he has is second to none.”

Kirk Cousins threw for 303 and three TDs for the Redskins (3-3).

While being hit by two defenders and falling forward, Wentz lofted a 9-yard TD pass to Corey Clement.

Wentz fired a 10-yard TD pass to Agholor to expand the lead to 31-17. Wentz kept that drive alive by escaping a sack and running 17 yards on third-and-8.

Cousins tossed a 7-yard touchdown to Chris Thompson to give the Redskins a 10-3 lead. He connected with Jordan Reed on a 5-yard TD to cut the deficit to 24-17 and threw a 12-yard pass to Reed to cap the scoring.

Here’s some things we learned from Philadelphia’s win over Washington:

LEGITIMATE CONTENDERS: The Eagles are the real deal and have a commanding lead in the NFC East. The Redskins and Cowboys (3-3) are tied for second place. Dallas still has a chance because they play Philadelphia twice but Washington was swept in the season series for the first time since 2013. ”Every time we win Adidas T. J. The Saints (8-2) will carry plenty of momentum into the contest after an improbable win over the Washington Redskins last week.
