In recent years Cordarrelle Patterson Jersey ,  regarding the greatest basketball player of all time. So it’s fitting that Jordan produced a preview of football’s on-field contest between two quarterbacks who can make the case for being the NFL’s GOAT: Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers or Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The segment debuted Sunday night, and it provoked a response from Lebron James.“IM READY!!!!” James tweeted. “Oh my bad I thought, maybe u were, umm never mind back to my regular schedule program.”Um, does Lebron think that basketball’s GOAT debate would be resolved by having James and Jordan play a game of one-on-one now, with Jordan at 56? The question isn’t whether James would beat Jordan now (surely he would). The question is whether James in his prime would beat Jordan in his prime.I’d take Jordan. How are things going for Bill Belichick this season when he coaches against someone who formerly worked under him as either a player or a coach? Not too great. He’s done it three times now in 2018 Authentic Jeremy Hill Jersey , and two of those coaches have beaten his New England Patriots. The most recent example came on Sunday, when the Patriots were obliterated 34-10 in a shocking blowout defeat by the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. The head coach of the Titans is Mike Vrabel, a former player and Super Bowl winner under Belichick as a member of the Patriots.Vrabel played as a linebacker for the Patriots from 2001 through 2008, though he was also used on offense as a tight end every once in a great while. Vrabel is famous for having caught a touchdown pass from Tom Brady in each of New England’s victories in Super Bowls 38 and 39.But Vrabel’s days as a Patriot are far, far behind him. After Belichick traded him away following the 2008 season, there is no doubt Vrabel took a little bit of extra satisfaction in handing his former coach this defeat. And it wasn’t just a defeat; it was an absolute thrashing. The Patriots offense that seemed to work so flawlessly in recent weeks (minus the Buffalo game) was absolutely bamboozled all afternoon long. There was no rhythm whatsoever Youth Danny Shelton Jersey , and Brady was clearly frustrated. He only completed 21 of 41 pass attempts, didn’t throw a single touchdown all game, and was sacked three times. Vrabel’s Tennessee defense really took it to him on Sunday. And it felt kind of like de ja vu, because we saw this exact same thing earlier in the season when the Patriots faced another former Belichick student back in Week 3. Matt Patricia, who was with the Patriots from 2004 through 2017 and spent his last six seasons in New England as the team’s defensive coordinator, is now the head coach of the Detroit Lions. In what may have been the most embarrassing loss of the season 4Stephon Gilmore Jersey , Patricia’s Lions handed the Patriots a brutal 26-10 defeat on Sunday Night Football. Only in the season opener, against Bill O’Brien’s Houston Texans, did the Patriots not look totally baffled and hopeless against a former Belichick apprentice. It sure is a heck of a coincidence that two of New England’s three losses in 2018 have come at the hands of coaches who were brought up in the Belichick system. They have certainly been his kryptonite this season. It wouldn’t be a total surprise to see the Patriots get matched up with the red hot Texans in the playoffs, which would give O’Brien another opportunity to join Vrabel and Patricia in the “We Beat Bill” club.

The Patriots are 1-2 Jonathan Jones Jersey , Tom Brady is only averaging 215 yards a game, and Dunkin’ Donuts isn’t even going to be Dunkin’ Donuts anymore. Your move, Dippin’ Donuts. Life is weird. That said, with pretty much everyone looking forward to Julian Edelman’s return as a Red Bull on a Sunday morning after staying out till sunrise, if what the Patriots are saying about Josh Gordon’s progress is legit, they might be getting a shot in the arm even sooner than that.Of course, Belichick had to remind everyone that after two thorough ass-kickings in a row, everybody needs to get their...stuff together, but it sounds like Bill, Josh, and Brady are liking what they’re seeing from Gordon so far. From NESN:And here’s Josh McDaniels talking about Josh hitting the ground running and trying to pick up as much as he can, since Gordon’s obviously more or less doing the classic college kid thing where we crammed for 10 straight hours before a final instead of just paying attention all semester:We’ve mentioned it before, but it is worth noting that Gordon had five different offensive coordinators and I’m too lazy to count how many different quarterbacks in his time in the Factory of Sadness Authentic Ja'Whaun Bentley Jersey , so it’s not like this is Reggie Wayne trying to learn the Pats offense after doing the basically the same thing for a decade with Peyton.Meanwhile, Brady sounds, dare we say, cautiously optimistic? With a couple possible shootouts coming up fast against Patrick Mahomes and A-A-Ron Rodgers, not to mention a Miami Dolphins team this week that’s somehow 3-0 despite one of the strangest offseasons ever, we’d better hope Gordon can chip in with something, cause the sledding definitely doesn’t get any easier from here on out.Or, if you want to roll with our Sunday morning after painting the town analogy again, we’re at the point now with this offense like when someone asks on the group text:“Want to go get some food?”“Oh my god yes”“Where?”“I DON’T CARE LITERALLY ANYWHERE IS FINE JUST PUT FOOD IN MY BELLY NOW PLZ” It did not take long for Kareem Hunt to make an impact in his first professional game. Going against the defending world champion New England Patriots, the Kansas City Chiefs’ third round rookie delivered what is still the most prolific game of his career – and one of the NFL’s best of 2017: playing on a national stage, in Foxboro, with the Patriots raising their fifth Super Bowl banner, Hunt exploded for a combined 246 yards from scrimmage.Along the way Youth Rex Burkhead Jersey , he scored three touchdowns and instantly became a star even outside of the scope of fantasy football. Fast forward one year: with New England again set to host Kansas City, it would not have been a surprise to see Hunt on the front pages or listed as the player to watch in the upcoming contest. However, that has not been the case so far. Instead, most of the focus has been on other member of the Chiefs’ prolific offense.Second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes, rightfully so, is the player who gets the lion’s share of the spotlight. Two of his most trusted weapons – tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Tyreek Hill – are also frequently mentioned when it comes to pre-game analysis and breaking down the number one scoring offense in the NFL. Hunt, it seems, flies under the radar despite being as important as any of the unit’s other starters.Patriots safety Devin McCourty knows that the he and his teammates can’t sleep on Hunt. “We were one of the first people to see that last year,” the defensive captain answered when asked about the running back potentially getting lost amidst the other potent weapons on the Chiefs offense. “He fumbled the first play and then went on to have a great game against us last year, so we’re fully aware of what he brings,” continued McCourty. This season, Hunt brings his usual mix of versatility from the backfield. The 23-year old carried the football 93 times for 376 yards and four touchdowns, all while also catching five passes for 66 yards and a score. While his 442 yards from scrimmage rank him second on the Chiefs behind only Tyreek Hill Adam Butler Jersey , his five total touchdowns are best on the team – ahead of big-name compa帽eros like Hill or Travis Kelce.Yet, Hunt appears to be the forgotten member of the league’s hottest offense – but he is not lost on a Patriots defense that was torched by him on opening day last year. “I think just their whole rushing attack no one talks about because Mahomes leads the league in passing touchdowns, they have so many good receivers and then tight ends,” McCourty said when talking about the prolific running back.“But, we’re fully aware of Hunt,” continued the veteran defender. “Whether it’s running the ball or catching the ball out of the backfield, or how he can hurt you and how hard he runs, not looking to go out of bounds; very aggressive runner.” McCourty’s head coach was also asked about Hunt but his answer did not simply focus on the talented Pro Bowler. Instead Bill Belichick perfectly summed up the Chiefs offense as a whole.“They’re all dangerous,” Belichick said. “You can’t stop one guy in this offense. They’ve got too many guys. The quarterback is a problem. The backs are a problem. The tight ends are a problem. The receivers are a problem. They’re all a problem.” And despite being a bit of a forgotten man in all of this, Kareem Hunt is a big reason why Kansas City’s offense presents the problems it presents.

Week 4 Patriots vs Dolphins: its lead to 38-0 The New England Patriots’ dominating performance against the Miami Dolphins continues – with two of the team’s young players coming up with big plays. First up was cornerback J.C. Jackson who again sees regular playing time with Eric Rowe inactive due to a groin injury. The undrafted rookie was able to get inside position on a deep pass by quarterback Ryan Tannehill and pick it off for his first career interception:Next up was running back Sony Michel. Not only did the first-round rookie go over 100 rushing yards on the day – the first such effort of his still young career – http://www.newenglandpatriotsteamonline.com/tom-brady-jersey , he also scored a touchdown to put his team up 38-0:Michel, who was up and down during his last two games – he missed the season opener due to a knee injury –, is having a dominating day and showing why New England made him the 31st pick of this year’s draft. The biggest challenge the New England Patriots defense will face this season already came in week six when the Kansas City Chiefs’ high-flying offense visited Gillette Stadium. However, the Green Bay Packers’ — despite some inconsistency so far this season — cannot be underestimated either and will pose one of the bigger hurdles for the unit to clear this season. In order to do it, the group needs to find a way to accomplish the following three goals.Force Aaron Rodgers to go to his depth targetsAlmost half of the 286 passes Green Bay’s quarterbacks have attempted so far this season were thrown to wide receiver Davante Adams and tight end Jimmy Graham. The duo ranks one and two in most major receiving categories on the Packers offense and naturally should be treated as such: New England needs to find a way to slow the two down and by extension force quarterback Aaron Rodgers to look elsewhere. How can they do that? Having a shutdown cornerback helps Womens David Andrews Jersey , and Stephon Gilmore is just that. He should spend the majority of the night guarding Adams, who leads Green Bay with 52 catches for 690 yards and six touchdowns. While the 25-year old obviously is a tough matchup for any defensive back, Gilmore has shown time and again this year that he is up to the challenge of taking away physically imposing wideouts.Meanwhile, strong safety Patrick Chung should be used on Graham. Like Gilmore, the veteran has had success against elite tight ends this year — think the Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce — which makes him a logical defender to guard the big tight end tonight. Taking away Graham and Adams should Authentic Lawrence Guy Jersey , in turn, take Rodgers a bit out of his comfort zone and force depth players to win their matchups.Set the edge wellThe Patriots defense has faced plenty of mobile quarterbacks in 2018 — from Deshaun Watson to Patrick Mahomes to Mitchell Trubisky — but it has not always been able to properly contain them. Tonight will mark the next chance for Brian Flores’ unit to match up against a highly athletic passer in Aaron Rodgers, and keeping him in the pocket to limit the damage he can do with his feet has to be imperative.First and foremost, the edge defenders cannot be too aggressive. This is exactly what happened against Trubisky in week seven and it allowed the Chicago Bears’ quarterback to burn the group for 81 yards on six carries. Rodgers, who has 18 carries for 116 yards so far this season Authentic Shaq Mason Jersey , is a similar threat when allowed to break the pocket and pushing too far upfield from the edge could be fatal.Contain should therefore be high up on New England’s list of defensive priorities. This, of course, does not just hold true when it comes to the quarterback but also to limiting Green Bay’s ground game. While Ty Montgomery is no longer part of the equation due to him getting traded to Baltimore, Aaron Jones and his 6.2 yards per carry cannot be allowed to get to the outside as well.Don’t hand out extra chancesGreen Bay’s offense may not be the most efficient in the league this season, but that does not mean it is not a dangerous unit to play against. Consequently Womens Julian Edelman Jersey , the Patriots need to bring their A-game not just when it comes to execution but also when it comes to mentality: the unit cannot allow its opponent to get extra chances through penalties or cheap third down conversions. This, of course, holds true against every offense in the NFL but it is even more important against an offensive powerhouse like the Packers. If the Patriots defense can play a sound game and not commit avoidable errors, it would go a long way to supporting the offense to keep up in what could very well turn out to be a shootout.

Lifestyle Following the end of the team’s three-day minicamp Cheap Joey Bosa Jersey , second-year DE Isaac Rochell sat down with Ricky Henne of Chargers.com to talk about his experiences from the past year and how he feels going into the 2018 season.Rochell admitted that he has been frustrated with himself about spending most of last season on the practice squad instead of playing on Sundays. But instead of staying down on himself, he has taken the lead on changing his lifestyle and outlook for the better, hoping it turns into a better season that includes an increase in playing time and success.According to Rochell, he was at his heaviest last season when he weighted around 280 pounds. Right now, he claims to be closer to 265 pounds. After swtiching to a plant-based diet and adding yoga into his weekly regimen, he feels lighter, leaner Womens Michael Schofield Jersey , and faster than ever.He told Henne, “I just feel better now. When you do yoga and you stretch and you eat right, and you’re doing things to help your body out, you’re able to get in positions that you didn’t know you can get in and you’re not thinking about it. You’re just playing. It just happens.”Rochell played in just three games in 2017. He collected four total tackles with two coming against the New York Jets where he collected a sack of quarterback Bryce Petty and another tackle-for-loss.With the loss of Chris McCain as the third rotational pass rusher, the door is wide open for Rochell to claim the role. Here’s to hoping that body transformation is just what he needed to propel his game to the next level. The Chargers didn’t put together their best performance of the season today, but fortunately they were playing the Raiders.Philip Rivers had a workmanlike effort, and Melvin Gordon had a couple big plays Youth Casey Hayward Jersey , and the Chargers went to Oakland and won 20-6.The Raiders’ offense marched down the field and kicked a field goal on the first drive of the game, but after that Oakland didn’t do much of anything. The Raiders’ biggest gain came from, of all people, punter Johnny Townsend, who ran 42 yards on a fake punt. That was one of the few exciting moments from the Raiders, who haven’t had many exciting moments this season. The best news today from the Chargers may be that they’ve finally found a kicker. Mike Badgley went 2-for-2 on field goals and 2-for-2 on extra points. The Chargers’ offense and defense have both played well this year, but their special teams have been a disaster Youth Joe Barksdale Jersey , and having a competent kicker would go a long way toward making the Chargers contenders. The Chargers are now 7-2 this season, and although they remain a game behind the Chiefs in the AFC West, as long as they keep winning, they can keep the division race interesting. The Raiders fall to 1-8, and the only interesting question for them this season is whether they’ll get the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft.

vs the Cardinals While the team hasn’t officially listed any players in or out for tonight’s preseason showdown against the Arizona Cardinals www.chargersfootballauthentics.com , there is a list of a few players:Some veterans are getting some rest while the team plays it safe with a few players who got banged up during week. With Philip Rivers out expect to see a lot of the back-up quarterbacks Geno Smith and Cardale Jones and you might even see a little of UDFA QB Nic Shimonek get some snaps towards the end of game. As for the rest of the offensive players on this list, it looks like wide receivers Tyrell Williams and Mike Williams will be the starters while Travis Benjamin still might be a question mark come gametime. Benjamin missed a few days of practice while most recently supporting a red jersey in Training Camp. That leaves more playing time for receivers on the roster bubble like Artavis Scott and Geremy Davis.Defensively, both corners Hayward and Williams will sit this one out and Michael Davis and Craig Mager will get some run on defense early on. Toward the end of the CB depth chart Tony Brown and Brandon Facyson will likely get some extended minutes and look to put some good plays on tape vs. the Cards tonight. Behind Joey Bosa will be the man the team touted all offseason for his progression and that is the back-up Defensive End Isaac Rochell who will be thrown into the starting role.In Tom Telesco we trust for the future Let’s get this out of the way, losing stinks. It doesn’t matter if it’s against an in-division opponent or the worst team in the league, if you lose, it’s a terrible time to be apart of the fan base. Take the Houston Texans for example. Hyped up to become the NFL’s next top-level offense under second-year quarterback Deshaun Watson, fans are prepared for Armageddon to begin with Watson looking less like a capable starter and more like a chicken running with his head cut off. Let’s look at the San Francisco 49ers. Expected to compete for a playoff position, their hopes are long gone with the loss of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo tearing his ACL last Sunday. Sure, they have decent weapons in the form of wide receivers Marquise Goodwin and Dante Pettis, but if C.J. Beathard is your starting quarterback, you’re pretty much getting another Nathan Peterman situation. The Los Angeles Chargers might have fallen to the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday in the first “Battle of Los Angeles” series, but it could have been worse. Falling on the sour end of a 35-23 defeat, the Chargers offense still managed to post 356 yards of total offense and find the end zone on three separate occasions, one on the ground and twice through the air. While the defense did allow 521 total yards, there still were some bright spots moving forward. Once again 2018 first round selection Derwin James is proving to the NFL that he should have been off the board in the top 10 thanks to his nine tackles and one interception performance. Yes, losing to the Rams Los Angeles Chargers T-Shirt , a cross-town rival is going to get fans riled up about the current status of the team. The Chargers are sitting at 1-2 after many predicted them to be this season’s breakout team. Last season, they were projected to be the breakout team as well. They started the year 0-4 before their team started to improve. Is it hard to be a Chargers fan? Perhaps. It doesn’t help to hear every offseason “this is our year” or “ this is where we turn things around.” While the 9-7 2017 roster did rapidly improve under second-year head coach Anthony Lynn, it’s pretty much playoff or bust to prove that the winds of losing seasons are blowing in the right direction. The team’s two losses came to two high quality teams, making the sting a little better. The first loss coming to AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs certainly won’t help Los Angeles in the hunt for the playoffs, but consider who they played. So far this season, second-year gunslinger Patrick Mahomes has been the face of the NFL. In just three starts, the former Red Raider has completed 66.7% of his passes for 896 yards with 13 touchdowns and a QB rating of 137.4. Add in one of the most talented arsenals in football with the likes of Tyreek Hill, Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelce, and Sammy Watkins, and it’s easy to see why Mahomes is the favorite to take home this year’s Most Valuable Player award according to oddsshark.com.Then you have the other team in Hollywood who genuinely have been nothing short of a perfect picture. Spending multiple draft picks to bolster their roster with established talent, the Rams might be football’s version of the Golden State Warriors with how complete they are. While there is a possibility they could be without both starting cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters for several games, their offense is dynamic and intricate enough to keep them in contention every week. So the Chargers are 1-2, but through it all at least there’s promise moving forward. With younger players beginning to show their growth on the field, credit has to be given to Chargers GM Tom Telesco on a job well done throughout the draft process. In four of his last five draft classes, the sixth-year GM has made considerable investments to building the Chargers from the laughing stock of the NFL Los Angeles Chargers Hats , to legitimate playoff contenders. Yes, they are still playoff contenders. It’s week 3, not week 12. Everyone take a chill pill before writing your opinions in the comments below. Looking back at Telesco’s last five first-round picks, his first overall selection has been his only bust. Former Alabama offensive tackle turn guard D.J. Fluker was a nightmare in pass protection looked horrendous getting off the line of scrimmage. That being said, looking back at most offensive linemen from Alabama, that seems to be the trend. Jacksonville Jaguars Cam Robinson might be the exception if he can adequately heal from his torn ACL suffered in week 2, but the likes of Andre Smith, Cyrus Kouandjio, Chance Warmack and Arie Kouandjio are nothing short of depth chart fillers. Plain and simple; Nick Saban runs his linemen into the ground, pretty much ruining their careers before they have a chance to begin. Since then, Telesco’s first round picks have all been hits on the positive column. Cornerback Jason Verrett would be one of the league’s most productive cornerbacks if not for his consistent trips to the injured reserve each season. It’s hard to call him a bust for his on the field play. When able to suit up, the former first rounder has collected 72 total tackles, 19 pass deflections, five interceptions and a trip to the Pro Bowl in 2015. He would likely go down as a player that never was rather than a bust. 2014 first round selection Melvin Gordon has become one the league’s most productive backs. Last week, the former Wisconsin star collected 84 yards of total offense and scoring on an 11-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. This season, Gordon ranks 14th among all active running backs on the ground with 172 yards and two touchdowns. As a receiving weapon Los Angeles Chargers Womens Hoodie , he ranks 4th among all runners with 144 receiving yards and another pair of touchdowns, giving him 316 yards of total offense, 8th among all backs. 2016 first rounder Joey Bosa is still waiting to make his return following his three-game absence with a foot injury. The back to back double-digit sack artist has been one of the league’s best pass rushers since his holdout during the 2016 offseason. Bosa might not be at full gear once he plays, but there’s a reason the Chargers pass rush has been widely inconsistent, their best players in on the bench. Then you 2017 first-rounder Mike Williams, easily the biggest breakout star from the 2017 class. Missing a majority of his rookie campaign due to injury, Sunday’s outing was one to remember for the Clemson product. Williams would lead the team in receptions with four catches for 81 yards and a pair of scores. Both times Williams was able to find the end zone, the six-foot-three-inches receiver showed off his quality speed as well as his ability to win in tight coverage to take one to the house. Williams now has 11 receptions on 15 targets for 189 yards and three touchdowns to start the 2018 season. The second-year receiver will need one catch next week against the 49ers to break his rookie numbers for receptions. James is already a star in the NFL, and some consider to be the next great safety. They wouldn’t be wrong as his consistency in coverage along with great form tackling and pass rushing ability has been all full-force since week one against Kansas City. James ranks second among all Chargers defensive players with 19 tackles leads the team in sacks (2), pass deflections (4) and interceptions (1).But it’s more than just the first round slam dunks Telesco has made for the team, it’s also his contributors on days two and three. The hopeful plan moving forward is to start both 2017 day two selections of Forrest Lamp and Dan Fenny up the middle as both guards. Lamp is still recovering from his torn ACL but could be the boost the Chargers offensive line needs once healthy. First-year linebacker Kyzir White is also making a name for himself as the team’s starting WILL. White graded out as Pro Football Focus’s fourth highest graded linebacker for his week two performance against the Buffalo Bills. Last Sunday in Los Angeles, White finished third on defense among tackles with seven total stops and one pass breakup. Tight end Hunter Henry was a sound second-round selection and would be a crucial part of the Chargers offense if not for a torn ACL.There’s certainly room for improvement though, mostly in the secondary. Both cornerbacks Trevor Williams and Desmond King had rough outings against the Rams in coverage and will need to recuperate fast. Still, both players (an undrafted free agent and 5th round selection) have shown promise in their skills during the 2017 season. Perhaps the biggest breakout star comes in the form running back Austin Ekeler. Calling him a running back, however, might be a bit too Womens Customized Los Angeles Chargers Jerseys , however. The second-year running back out of Western State has collected 163 rushing yards and 132 receiving yards, making him one of the league’s most versatile weapons out of the backfield. Everyone on both sides of the ball will need to step up to pull out a victory and head into week five as a .500 ball club. The offensive line is still struggling, but that’s more related to injury instead poor play. The unit has only allowed five sacks this offseason, the seventh least among all active ball clubs. The Chargers lost to two quality teams and only fell short by a combined 22 points to two of the three undefeated squads left in the NFL. Let’s look at the glass half-full instead of “Jesus here we are again mode.” Both games were going to be tough wins without a complete unit. It’s not like they are the Texans who should be sitting at 2-1 but now are looking to salvage their season with a must-win showdown on Sunday. Telesco has done a fantastic job drafting players who can contribute to this team day 1. Without the likes of Gordon, Williams, James, Ekeler, and White just to name a few, who knows what the Chargers status would be heading into week 4. It’s okay to be upset with a slow start, but hold on Chargers nation, so long as Telesco is calling the shots, it should pan out in the long-run.

So I am back with another 53-man roster prediction following last week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. I thought I would give this another go after that contest shed some light on several players who now have a pretty solid case to make the team.Heading into the final game before the one and only cut-down to 53 Authentic Brandon Mebane Jersey , we will likely get to see the starters for roughly one half of play. This means that the reps for the backups will be limited which also means that those who do get the majority of playing time in the second half should give us a better idea of who’ll be making the final 53.There are plenty of camp battles still getting worked out at this point. The team’s fifth wide receiver, fifth or sixth cornerbacks, and linebacker depth are all still fairly up in the air. There are some real players jockeying for the last few positions and this game shall go a long way of deciding who the lucky few are.Let’s take a look.Quarterbacks (2)Philip RiversGeno SmithMy Thoughts: Smith is light years ahead of Cardale Jones at this point and he is the first backup QB in years to be able to make the second-string offense go during the preseason. I feel the best about the QB2 situation than I have in recent memory.Running Backs (4)Melvin GordonAustin EkelerDetrez NewsomeDerek WattMy Thoughts: Newsome has taken full advantage of his increased reps while guys like Russell Hansbrough and Justin Jackson have missed extensive time this preseason. He is a nice middle-ground between the skillsets of Gordon and Ekeler and offers another dangerous presence in the Bolts’ backfield.Wide Receivers (6)Keenan AllenTyrell WilliamsMike WilliamsTravis BenjaminGeremy DavisArtavis ScottMy Thoughts: I finally have to get over the fact that Dylan Cantrell will likely not make the final 53 since he has missed way too much time while guys like Davis and Artavis Scott ball out in the meantime. I just hope Cantrell can make it to the practice squad as he is far too talented to lose. I included Scott while Liuget is suspended the first four games but once he is back I expect Scott to be the first one out.Tight Ends (3)Virgil GreenSean CulkinBraedon BowmanMy Thoughts: Outside of a couple catches from Green and some good run-blocking reps from him and Culkin, the tight ends have been the most underwhelming position group in the preseason. They’ve gotten next to nothing in terms of targets through the first two contests and there doesn’t seem to be a ton of time left for any of them to state much of a case. My locks are Green and Culkin while Bowman likely winds up the third tight end by default.Offensive Linemen (9)Russel OkungDan FeeneyMike PounceyForrest LampJoe BarksdaleMichael SchofieldSam TeviScott QuessenberrySpencer PulleyMy Thoughts: This group looks to be as solid as it’s ever been in the last 10 years. With Lamp back in the fold and guys like Pulley and Schofield providing starting experience within the backups, the unit should be able to build upon a 2017 season where they allowed the fewest number of sacks in the league. My only worry is depth at left tackle. Schofield has experience at right tackle but Tevi has been close to disastrous this preseason. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Okung’s sustainable health.Defensive Linemen (10) (Tackles and Ends)DE Joey BosaDE Melvin IngramDT Corey Liuget (exempt)DT Brandon MebaneDT Darius PhilonDE Isaac RochellDE Chris LandrumDT Damion SquareDT Steven RichardsonDT Justin JonesMy Thoughts: This may seem like a ton of defensive linemen to keep but I can’t help but seea lot more depth to this position group than I previously thought. With the lack of real, solidified talent on the interior, I don’t mind keeping an extra defensive tackle or two in order to keep options open. Richardson has been a stud and can help collapse a pocket better than the majority of these guys. While interior depth is sufficient, I am worried about the drop off in talent behind Bosa and Ingram. I don’t Landrum is as good as McCain was last year and Rochell is still an enigma until we see him in the regular season.Linebackers (7) (Middle and Outside)MLB Denzel PerrymanMLB Jatavis BrownOLB Uchenna NwosuOLB Kyzir WhiteOLB Kyle EmanuelMLB D’Juan HinesMLB Hayes PullardMy Thoughts: Perryman, Brown, Nwosu Womens Drew Kaser Jersey , White, and Emanuel are all locks for the team. Hines has been one of my favorite UDFAs to make the team from the jump and I think his path is as clear as ever. Bradley loves Pullard and I actually feel he has taken some steps forward with this game over the offseason. I will say that there is a chance they don’t keep this many linebackers but I can’t help but feel that middle linebacker depth is a question and with the recent injury history of Perryman, it isn’t a bad idea to play it safe with this group.Cornerbacks (5)Casey HaywardTrevor WilliamsDesmond KingMichael DavisBrandon FacysonMy Thoughts: Williams is likely sitting out tomorrow’s game for precautionary reasons and this’ll allow Davis to maximize his time with the starting unit. Davis recently stated he feels night-and-day more confident this year and hopefully his game backs up his claims. King will hopefully stay at slot corner, barring anymore injuries to Hayward and Williams going forward. Facyson has been the most impressive UDFA up to this point and I don’t think he relinquishes his grasp on the final CB spot.Safeties (4)Jahleel AddaeDerwin JamesRayshawn JenkinsAdrian PhillipsMy Thoughts: Some might think the team needs to keep more than four total safeties but with the amount of different packages they run on top of all the varied personnel groups they like to deploy, I don’t think they need anymore than this quartet. James is finally with the 1’s and it looks to be Addae at FS while James is slotted at SS. Jenkins’ athletic ability keeps him interesting and Phillips experience at nickel/dime linebacker is always welcomed on this team.Special Teams (4)Caleb SturgisDrew KaserMike WindtJ.J. JonesMy Thoughts: I believe Sturgis will hold on to win the kicking job and I think the punter job is honestly up for grabs between the two former Aggies. In the end, Kaser is the more experienced one and will likely win out based on that, alone. The biggest change here from the last prediciton is that I’m keeping WR J.J. Jones solely based on his performance as a return man. He shows much more assertion in his play which contrasts heavily against Travis Benjamin’s history in the return game.Did I miss anybody? Any glaring omissions? Who do you think should make the team that I didn’t select? Let me know in the comment section. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has played his way into the edges of the MVP conversation, and at age 36 the question persists as to how long he’ll play football.Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Chargers want Rivers for “years to come.” It’s not quite clear what that means; he’s under contract only through 2019. When the time comes to talk about an extension, it will be important for both sides to be clear about how long Rivers wants to play, because any signing bonus money applicable to years beyond his willingness to play would technically have to be repaid.Last year http://www.chargersfootballauthentics.com/mike-williams-jersey-authentic , after Russell Wilson echoed Tom Brady‘s desire to play until the age of 45, Rivers laughed at the possibility, making it clear in a visit to PFT Live that he’ll be coaching his son’s high-school football team at age 45. Rivers hasn’t said whether that means he’ll play beyond, or even to, the age of 40.Rivers turns 37 in less than two weeks. If the Chargers indeed want to keep him around through the opening of the team’s new stadium in 2020, it will make plenty of sense for team and player to have a frank, candid discussion about how long he wants to play, and how long the team wants him.

Vikings Roster Cuts:  In their quest to trim their roster down to the 53-man limit Cheap Harrison Smith Jersey , the Minnesota Vikings appear to have made a couple of decisions about their running back group. As a part of the final cuts, the Vikings have released running back Mack Brown. He is being waived with an injury designation, which means that if he goes unclaimed on waivers he will go on the Injured Reserve list.Brown, who played his college football at the University of Florida, went undrafted in 2015 and spent time with both the Houston Texans and the Washington Redskins. He was with the Redskins until 2017, when the team waived him. Minnesota picked him up off of waivers, and he actually spent a decent portion of the 2017 season on the Vikings’ 53-man roster, though he was inactive most weeks.I don’t believe that Brown has any practice squad eligibility left, and if he does I’m not sure that the Vikings would be interested in bringing him back, as they have at least one other player that they could add to the practice squad at the running back spot. We’re still waiting for the final handful of moves for the Vikings to officially hit the wire so that we can bring you the full 53-man roster. Once they happen, we’ll have it here for you.Tuesday Open Thread: October 9, 2018 Merry Tuesday, everyone!Hey, did you all take a minute yesterday to be thankful?  Thielen is on a roll this season Womens Eric Kendricks Jersey , as he’s in first place with 58 receptions and 712 receiving yards, in addition to scoring four touchdowns. He is doing so well six weeks into the season that his some of his stats match his season total from a year ago.And while having the number one receiver in the league excites us, none of that matters to him.Thielen spoke to the media on Thursday about the only thing that matters, winning.Thielen did go on to say this about the two game winning streak: “We’ve been able to do that the last couple weeks. And whatever I can do to be apart of that, I’m going to do it.”While winning games is of the utmost importance, I hope (well, I’m positive) that he takes the time to look at how well he is doing right now. The six week roll he has been on is outstanding and honestly there is nowhere to go but up for him.And going against the New York Jets secondary that has definitely seen better days gives Thielen a real shot at lucky number seven. But, to Thielen, he just wants to make sure that he is getting better week in and week out. “Numbers sometimes mask how you’re playing. Doesn’t mean that you’re playing well, playing bad. So you gotta look at the tape and you gotta get better... teams are just gonna have a target on your back now. And you gotta continue to do the little things to make sure you’re being successful and that’s what counts.”Thielen doesn’t have to worry about bragging about his success this season. We’ll keep doing it for him. To start the second quarter of play at U.S. Bank Stadium, the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints were tied at 7-7, and the Vikings opened the quarter with a short pass from Kirk Cousins to Stefon Diggs for a nice 19-yard gain into Saints’ territory at the 45. The Vikings then ran the ol’ flea flicker Youth Linval Joseph Jersey , with Cousins finding Adam Thielen for a 28-yard gain, and the Vikings were in the red zone at the New Orleans 17. The Vikings then found themselves facing 3rd-and-7 from the 14, and the Saints were flagged for defensive holding to give the purple a free first down and a first-and-goal. The Vikings wasted no time, as Latavius Murray went over the top of the pile for a touchdown! Dan Bailey. . .sigh. . .pushed the extra point to the left, and the lead remained 13-7.Bailey lofted a short kickoff to Taysom Hill, who took the ball to the Saints’ 33-yard line to start the drive. A couple of passes to Michael Thomas picked up a first down for the Saints, and they were suddenly near midfield. Mark Ingram carried the ball to the 50, and a pass to Alvin Kamara was stopped by Eric Kendricks to bring up a third down and short. Everson Griffen then jumped offsides to give the Saints a first down to the Minnesota 41. The Saints then found themselves with a 3rd-and-3 at the 34-yard line, and Kamara dropped a pass to bring up fourth down. The Saints brought in Will Lutz for a 52-yard attempt, and he drilled it to make the score 13-10 with 7:27 remaining in the half. The kickoff from Lutz went for a touchback, giving the Vikings the ball at the 25 for the first time on the evening. He found. . .who else. . .Adam Thielen right away for 15 yards to the 40-yard line. That was followed by a huge run by Latavius Murray. . .that was wiped out by a hold on Pat Elflein. Cousins was then sacked by Sheldon Rankins, making it 2nd-and-25. The Vikings couldn’t get enough to move the chains Youth Everson Griffen Jersey , so Matt Wile came on for his first punt of the evening. Matt Wile booted it away, and Kamara returned it to the New Orleans 33.A couple of runs by Kamara quickly put the Saints into Minnesota territory at the 45. However, the Saints’ drive was stopped by Harrison Smith, who intercepted a pass intended for Thomas at the Minnesota 33-yard line! After a couple of runs by Mike Boone, the Vikings had a 3rd-and-6 from their own 37 at the two-minute warning. Cousins then hit Kyle Rudolph, who stretched for the necessary yardage and a new set of downs. Cousins then threw incomplete for Murray, and a long pass for Laquon Treadwell fell incomplete as well to bring up another third down. Cousins then calmly found Aldrick Robinson for a big 19-yard gain into New Orleans territory at the 37.Eli Apple was then flagged for pass interference against Treadwell to give the Vikings another first down to the Saints’ 30, and a short pass to Murray went into the red zone at the 18. Cousins then hit Thielen with a short pass, and after gaining a few yards, Thielen fumbled for the first time this season. The ball was picked up by Marshon Lattimore and taken deep into Minnesota territory, and Treadwell was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct to move the ball all the way to the Minnesota 18 with under a minute remaining.Brees went to work immediately, finding Kamara on a short pass that he took all the way to the 1-yard line http://www.thevikingsfootballauthentic.com/xavier-rhodes-jersey-authentic , and then Kamara went over the top for a score. The two-play drive and the extra point by Will Lutz gave the Saints a 17-13 lead with thirty seconds left in the half. The Vikings got the ball back, but ran one play and let the clock run out before heading to the locker room.Cousins has played an outstanding game thus far, for the most part. He has completed 15-of-19 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown in the first half of play. Thielen is almost to his eighth straight 100-yard game already, as he leads the team with 75 yards on five catches. Stefon Diggs has 54 yards and a touchdown on four receptions, and Aldrick Robinson has a 19-yard catch. Roc Thomas has a 15-yard reception, and Kyle Rudolph has 14 yards on three grabs. Latavius Murray has a 12-yard reception as well.Speaking of Murray, he’s done decently on the ground thus far against the NFL’s #1 run defense. He has 29 yards and a touchdown on five carries thus far. Thielen has a 15-yard run, and Mike Boon has three carries for 11 yards as well. That’s where we stand at halftime, ladies and gentlemen, with a big momentum swing putting the Vikings down by a score of 17-13 at halftime. The purple will get the football first coming out of the locker room, so hopefully they can recapture the momentum they had early on.

To get things started in Philadelphia http://www.thevikingsfootballauthentic.com/riley-reiff-jersey-authentic , toss and elected to defer to the second half, meaning that the Minnesota Vikings got the football first. The kickoff went into the end zone for a touchback, giving Kirk Cousins and company the football at their own 25-yard line to start things off.Cousins got things started with a couple of short completions, one to David Morgan and one to Stefon Diggs, to pick up a quick first down. Cousins then launched a long pass towards Adam Thielen, and Thielen made a great diving catch for a gain of 24 into Philadelphia territory at the 39. The Vikings then got a rushing first down thanks to a Latavius Murray burst on 3rd-and-1, and Minnesota was on the move. The Vikings pushed the ball down to the Philadelphia 10-yard line, but Kirk Cousins’ pass intended for Roc Thomas was knocked down and fell incomplete. Dan Bailey came into the game for a 28-yard field goal attempt, and he. . .bounced it off of the left upright and it fell no good. The game remained scoreless and the Eagles took over at their own 20-yard line following the miss.Carson Wentz led the Eagles onto the field, but the Eagles’ offense couldn’t do much, as Linval Joseph recorded a sack of Wentz to force a three-and-out. Mike Hughes fielded the punt and got the ball to midfield, setting the Vikings up with outstanding field position.Cousins found Diggs for a 24-yard catch-and-run to start the drive for Minnesota, and after a short run by Mike Boone, the offense stalled out after another Cousins pass on 3rd-and-2 fell incomplete. In came Dan Bailey again to attempt another field goal, and he connected from 37 yards out to make it a 3-0 Vikings lead. The Vikings’ defense showed up big again on the second drive Womens Eric Kendricks Jersey , as they forced another three-and-out after a nice play by Danielle Hunter and Anthony Barr. The Eagles got a nice bounce and roll on the ensuing punt, and the offense set up shop at their own 10-yard line.Minnesota did not go three-and-out, thanks to an outstanding effort from Laquon Treadwell on a third down conversion. Cousins then got taken down on a sack by Brandon Graham, and as we move to the second quarter of play, the Vikings are looking at a 3rd-and-13 from their own 17-yard line.Fifteen minutes in the books from Philadelphia, and the Minnesota Vikings hold a 3-0 lead. Come on in and join us for the second quarter of play! What’s up Who Dats http://www.saintsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-mark-ingram-jersey ,  of the Week for week 3 of 2018! The Saints picked up win number 2 in a thrilling overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta. The game was as hard on both team’s players as it was on the hearts of fans of both fan-bases. The Saints prevailed 43-37 and Drew Brees was amazing en route to earning NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Who am I to not recognize the Greatness that is Mr. Brees? In a game that featured very little defense and players exiting the game with season ending injuries, it was obvious that an offensive player would earn player of the week once again. The expected standouts threw their hats into the ring, including Brees, Michael Thomas, Alvin Kamara, and the suddenly surging Cameron Jordan. #Cantguardmike was near unstoppable while catching all 10 targets for 129 yards but was held out of the end zone on the day. His 95% catch rate on the season is impressive as he’s hauled in 38 of 40 targets and pitched in 3 TDs through 3 games. Kamara had his best rushing output of the season with 16 carries for 66 and 4.1 yards per carry average. Jordan has picked up his pace since a quiet week one and recorded back-to-back 2 sack performances including 4 tackles and 1 assisted tackle against the Falcons in week 3. But the day belonged to Brees, who refused to be denied the end zone or victory. At the final gun, Brees had accumulated 39/49 completions for 396 yards and 3 touchdowns. But his most sensational play was a 7-yard TD scramble that featured an amazing spin move away from two defenders and a dive for the goal line that set up the game tying PAT to force overtime. Brees got off to a hot start and played turnover-free football early while carving up a depleted Falcons defense at will. He completed passes to nine different receivers on the day including a 4-yard TD to Ted Ginn Jr. to open the scoring, then later an 11-yard TD to Cameron Meredith Max Unger Jersey , and finally a 1-yard TD to Zach Line. After setting up overtime with his sensational 7-yard TD, Brees closed the game with a 1-yard goal line plunge to cap a 15 play, 80-yard drive for the win!In a see-saw battle of division rivals, the Cool Brees proved once again why he is still considered one of the best in the game. And to put icing on the cake, Brees broke another record in victory by becoming the all-time completions leader, passing Brett Favre with 6,326 completions in his career. Another nice achievement is the fact that Brees is the only quarterback to defeat an opposing quarterback who threw for 5 touchdowns and no interceptions. Matt Ryan (2018) and Eli Manning (2015) are the only two QBs to fall short in such a way. Brees was the assassin both times! As always, Thanks for reading, Be Cool Who Dats!Wide Receivers Are New Orleans Saints Fatal Flaw In the era of tragic heroes Authentic Sheldon Rankins Jersey , a “fatal flaw” typically is one where an otherwise heroic character eventually leads to his own demise. For Bleacher Report, a fatal flaw is a weakness of a team that could derail hopes of a Super Bowl run. For the New Orleans Saints, Bleacher Report believes to their wide receiver corps. It’s no secret that the Saints group of wide receivers behind Michael Thomas fails to instill much confidence in the fanbase. And while Ginn is far from a spring chicken, Cam Meredith (himself coming off a serious knee injury), is only two years removed from his age 24 season when he amassed 888 yards in only 14 games (starting only 10).If Meredith is fully healed - which is a big “if” - the Saints could have something special at wide receiver. What looked to be a weakness, could be a strength by season’s end.
