PHILADELPHIA (AP) Alshon Jeffery used to be the top receiver in Chicago. Jay Ajayi was the main running back in Miami. LeGarrette Blount led the NFL in rushing touchdowns last season in New England.

Now the trio are just part of the offense instead of the focal point.

The Philadelphia Eagles (9-1) have the best record in the NFL thanks to a group of players who put team goals ahead of personal goals.

After losing the first three games with Elliott sidelined for his domestic violence suspension, the Cowboys (8-6) have won three straight to get back into contention heading into the final two-game stretch against Seattle and Philadelphia.

”He gives us an extra boost because of his personality and who he is,” receiver Dez Bryant said. ”He gets guys going with his attitude, the passion and love for the game. Just seeing him back will make us play that much more harder. Can’t wait.”

Fehr scored one goal while anchoring the fourth line and Sorensen had three as San Jose’s bottom group of forwards that also includes Melker Karlsson matched the scoring output of the entire Anaheim team in the series.

”It’s awesome to see,” top-line forward Evander Kane said. ”It really gives a big spark to our group when you see those guys go out there and play in the offensive zone, create scoring chances and score goals. That really adds to our group. It takes pressure off us as top players to know all four lines can score.”

The deadline addition of Kane provided the Sharks a major spark down the stretch but a lower-profile deal a week earlier for Fehr was also key to San Jose’s success.

Fehr stepped right in as San Jose’s fourth-line center, giving coach Peter DeBoer the confidence to roll four lines and keep his top players fresh. It was a surprising development since Fehr’s career looked to be nearing its end after 12 seasons when he cleared waivers for Toronto back in November and got loaned to Anaheim’s AHL affiliate in San Diego.

It appears the 49ers (2-10) finally have a long-term answer for the game’s most important position after winning just seven regular season games combined over the previous two seasons.

Garoppolo took over the starting job from rookie C.J. Beathard, who exited a loss Nov. 26 to Seattle late in the fourth quarter with hip and knee injuries. That allowed Shanahan to make the expected switch to Tom Brady’s former backup, giving Garoppolo 33 days since being acquired from New England to learn Shanahan’s offense before becoming the starter.

The results were about as promising as could be expected. Garoppolo converted 10 of 18 third downs, marking the first time San Francisco reached double-digit conversions since 2007.

Garoppolo was acquired before the trade deadline for a second-round draft pick. Since then, there’s been a renewed energy in the team’s headquarters, Shanahan said Authentic Paul Molitor Jersey , with players feeling optimistic about their new quarterback.

”I don’t think it’s hard for people to see just the talent he has as a thrower. I know players can see that, I think fans can see that too,” Shanahan said. ”. NEW YORK (AP) A federal judge cleared the way Monday night for the NFL to enforce a six-game suspension of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott over domestic violence allegations.

U.S. District Judge Katherine Polk Failla denied the request for a preliminary injunction from players’ union attorneys working for Elliott. Failla put the ruling on hold for 24 hours to give Elliott’s legal team time to appeal Authentic Steven Wright Jersey , a likely move.

It’s the second time a federal ruling has overturned a reprieve that kept Elliott on the field. Earlier this month, a federal appeals court threw out a Texas court’s injunction and ordered the dismissal of Elliott’s lawsuit there.

Fox said Sunday’s game averaged 19.6 million on its three outlets, drawing 18,940,000 on the main Fox Network, 496,000 on Fox Deportes and 172,000 on the digital stream Fox Sports Go.

Tiger Woods is returning to competition at his holiday tournament in the Bahamas the week after Thanksgiving.

Woods has not played since he withdrew from the Dubai Desert Classic on Feb. 3 with back spams. Two months later, he had his fourth back surgery in just over two years.

Woods will be part of the 18-man field at the Hero World Challenge, which starts Nov. 30 at Albany Golf Club. Woods is eligible as the tournament host.

A year ago, Woods returned at this tournament after 15 months recovering from two back surgeries. He made 24 birdies, but finished 15th out of 18 players.

VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) – Two University of South Dakota football players have been arrested on charges of second degree rape after an alleged assault earlier this month at an off-campus residence.

Police in Vermillion, South Dakota Authentic Dustin Pedroia Jersey , say in a statement that Danny Rambo and Dale Williamson turned themselves in Monday evening.

School officials say they received a complaint last week about the Oct. 22 alleged attack and turned it over to law enforcement.
