HOUSTON (AP) With Deshaun Watson’s year done Cheap Michael Dickson Jersey , the Houston Texans will look to Tom Savage to try and salvage their season.
Coach Bill O’Brien confirmed that Watson was out for the season on Friday, a day after the star rookie quarterback tore the anterior cruciate ligament in one of his knees during practice. O’Brien said he didn’t have any other details on the injury, and wouldn’t say if Watson will have surgery.
A fiery O’Brien brushed aside the notion that Watson’s injury signaled doom for this team.

”You can’t really replace Deshaun Watson. You know what I mean,” Savage said. ”The kid’s been playing absolutely lights out. But that’s not my job. My job is to go out there and help this team win and do whatever I can to help.”

Harvey before losing three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt and
linebacker Whitney Mercilus to season-ending injuries on Oct. 8. Last week,
owner Bob McNair apologized for saying ”we can’t have the inmates running the
prison” during a meeting of NFL owners about players who protest by kneeling
during the national anthem.
Savage said O’Brien’s leadership has helped make these trying times easier on the players.
”Ultimately he’s communicated with us. That’s the one thing,” he said. ”He didn’t act like none of this stuff was going on. I think it would be easy to be like: `Hey, we have practice at nine. We’ll see you out there.’ But he communicated with us. He’s one of the guys and he truly is a player’s coach. And that’s what we’ve all appreciated.”

.BALTIMORE (AP) Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was dazed and bleeding as he was helped off the field.
Diagnosed with a concussion after absorbing a late hit by Miami linebacker Kiko Alonso late in the second quarter Buccaneers Vinny Curry Jersey , Flacco was taken to the locker room and did not return.

Two months after a winless season mercifully ended, new general manager John Dorsey addressed major roster needs Friday by acquiring mobile quarterback Tyrod Taylor in a deal with Buffalo, wide receiver Jarvis Landry from Miami and cornerback Damarious Randall from Green Bay, a person with direct knowledge of the overhaul told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
Teams are not permitted to announce any trades until next week.
In exchange, the Browns shipped quarterback DeShone Kizer and swapped late-round picks with the Packers, gave the Dolphins a fourth-round pick this season and a seventh rounder in 2019 and sent the Bills the No. 65 overall pick in this year’s draft.

McCarron wants to start and it’s unlikely he would want to compete with Taylor, who led the Bills to their first postseason appearance since 1999. The dynamic Taylor, who finished with a 23-21 record in three seasons with Buffalo Raiders Martavis Bryant Jersey , can affect the game as a passer or runner and he’s the type of quarterback Browns coach Hue Jackson has sought since coming to Cleveland.

He had some injuries issues – and a visible spat with the team – in 2017, but finished the year as Green Bay’s best cover cornerback. He was benched in the second half of a Sept. 28 game against Chicago by coach Mike McCarthy, who sent him to the locker room.
Cleveland’s secondary was a mess last season after the club decided to waive veteran cornerback Joe Haden.
Dorsey’s remodeling of the Browns is far from finished. Before the trades, Cleveland was $113 million under the salary cap and the team figures to remain busy next week.
