JACKSONVILLE Giants Saquon Barkley Jersey , Fla. (AP) As offensively inept as the Cincinnati Bengals were to start the season, they were even worse Sunday at Jacksonville.

The Bengals finished with a season-low 148 yards in a 23-7 loss that showed – again – just how dominant the Jaguars (5-3) can be.

The game will be remembered more for a fight between receiver A.J. Green and cornerback Jalen Ramsey. But Cincinnati’s offense was the one that really got whipped.

It was the team’s worst output since a 27-0 drubbing at Indianapolis in 2014 in which Cincy managed 135 yards. The Bengals (3-5) might not have reached the end zone in this one had it not been for a 59-yard pass play from Andy Dalton to Tyler Kroft during which two defenders collided while missing the tackle. Rookie Joe Mixon scored two plays later.

Jacksonville dominated from there, controlling the ball for more than 40 minutes in a chippy game that could have been much more lopsided.

”When we’re playing like this, what can you really do with us?” Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin said. ”Where you going to go with the ball? Where are you going to run the ball? We keep trying to tell y’all: There isn’t no secondary out there that’s better than us. We’re trying to show y’all. Eventually everybody will catch on.”

Mixon finished with 31 yards rushing on 13 carries. Dalton threw for 136 yards and was sacked twice.

”Obviously we’re not executing at the level that we want to,” Dalton said. ”We need to play better Authentic Mike Hughes Jersey , and it starts with the mentality of knowing that you’re going to play better, and telling yourself, and trusting the guy next to you.”

Blake Bortles threw for 259 yards and a touchdown in another efficient day. Marqise Lee had his first TD reception of the season. And Jaydon Mickens returned a punt 63 yards for a score that put the game away in the fourth quarter.

Green and Ramsey were the main topic afterward.

The perennial Pro Bowler retaliated against the trash-talking Ramsey in a violent way. After Ramsey pushed Green to the ground at the end of a running play, Green grabbed Ramsey around the neck and slammed him to the ground. Green then delivered numerous punches to Ramsey’s helmet – never the smartest idea – and put another MMA-style choke hold on Ramsey. It was the kind of aggressive attack that could lead to league discipline, maybe even a suspension.

Green and Ramsey were ejected.

”I should have walked off in that situation Lions Kerryon Johnson Jersey ,” Green said. ”It’s never going to happen again. I regret my actions. Whatever my punishments are I accept them because I put myself in that situation. … I’ve got to control my emotions better. I’ve got to handle my stuff better. I can’t put myself in a situation like that, hurt my team and not be able to play.”

Ramsey was not in the locker room after the game.

The Jaguars preferred to talk about their latest defensive gem, one that followed two 10-sack performances (Houston, Indianapolis) and a five-turnover outing (Pittsburgh).

FOURNETTE OUT

Jaguars rookie running back Leonard Fournette was inactive for violating a team rule. Jacksonville made the surprise announcement 90 minutes before kickoff. It’s unclear what Fournette did to draw coach Doug Marrone’s punishment.

INJURIES

Bengals: Starting right tackle Jake Fisher was taken to a local hospital with an undisclosed illness. … Nose tackle Pat Sims left in the first quarter with a right calf injury and did not return. … Running back Jeremy Hill, who started the first seven games, was scratched because of an ankle injury. Hill was not on the injury report all week.

Jaguars: Left tackle Cam Robinson reinjured his left ankle, but returned to the game. … Defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. injured his right elbow but returned.

JAGS HOMECOMING

The Jaguars welcomed back nearly 60 former players for their annual homecoming game. In conjunction with the reunion Cheap Ed Dickson Jersey , the Jaguars wore teal jersey and black pants for the first time since December 2006.

UP NEXT

They’ve beaten coach Bruce Arians’ Cardinals three of the past four times they’ve played there. The exception was last season’s excruciating 6-6 tie, a Sunday night game when Arizona and Seattle both missed chip-shot field goals that would have won the game in overtime.

”It was old-time football,” Arizona coach Bruce Arians said. ”I’ve never been in a game with 97 snaps on offense and you only score six points.”

It’s the latest matchup between NFC West foes where home field doesn’t seem to mean much. The Cardinals have won in three of its past four trips to Seattle, but the Seahawks have dominated in Arizona.

The Seahawks (5-3) will be favored again when they face the Cardinals (4-4) on Thursday night, with Seattle’s tough defensive front aiming to stop Adrian Peterson, who literally is carrying the offensive load since coming to the Cardinals.

With quarterback Carson Palmer out with a broken arm, Arizona is leaning on Peterson even more.

Thursday night’s game comes just four days after the 32-year-old running back carried a career-high 37 times for 159 yards in the Cardinals’ 20-10 victory at San Francisco.

”I’m feeling good,” Peterson said on Wednesday. ”My body’s feeling fresh. I’m ready to roll. I’m sure they are as sore as us, so it’s going to be a battle of will.”

The Seahawks are coming off a home loss to Washington.

”We took a step back last week Cheap Malik Jefferson Jersey ,” coach Pete Carroll said. ”We didn’t play like we wanted to, but over the last month or so, we’ve been playing pretty good football. We’re moving in the right direction.”

Here are some things to consider when Seattle faces Arizona:

KICKING WOES: The teams got rid of the kickers who missed those field goals in last season’s 6-6 tie – Seattle’s Stephen Hauschka and Arizona’s Chandler Catanzaro – and figured they had upgraded.

But Blair Walsh missed three field goals in Sunday’s loss to the Redskins. And 42-year-old Phil Dawson, one of the most consistent kickers in recent years, has missed six for Arizona, equaling his misses for the previous two seasons combined.

Four of Dawson’s misfires have come from 40 yards and in.

PETERSON PREPARES: After his workload on Sunday, Peterson was in the cold tub, then did a cardio workout and some ”body work” in the weight room.

”I know Tuesday was the day I’d really feel pain,” he said. ”So yesterday (Tuesday) I was a little more sore. But coming in today I felt good, felt fresh.”

Is Peterson ready for 30-plus carries again?

”If that’s what it takes,” he said.

RUNNING RAWLS: With Lacy out Cheap Alex McGough Jersey , the Seahawks will rely on Thomas Rawls as their primary ball carrier.

Rawls rushed for a season-high 39 yards last week against Washington. It’s far from an impressive total, but it came on nine carries and the 4.3 yards per carry were a drastic improvement for Seattle’s run game.

FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH: Dwight Freeney learned a lot two years ago when he was asked to join the Cardinals at midseason and contribute right away. So far, that’s paying off for the Seahawks. Freeney has three sacks in two games since joining Seattle. Freeney played 25 snaps against Washington and felt that was about the right number for him at this point.

”I trained pretty hard in the offseason just to stay ready. That’s around the amount I’m used to. I could play more reps, I just don’t know how the recovery is going to be,” Freeney said.

FLAG FEST: Carroll was bothered this week after Seattle was penalized 16 times against Washington, one off the franchise record in a game. It was the second time in three weeks the Seahawks threatened the team mark after having 15 in a victory over the New York Giants.

Ten of the penalties came on offense, with all five starting offensive linemen picking up at least one. It was a major lack of discipline by the Seahawks, and while Seattle has never been the cleanest team under Carroll, this level of sloppiness is not sustainable.

”We think it is a group thing Chiefs Armani Watts Jersey , obviously, when you have a bunch like this, but it comes down to individual choices and making good decisions and doing things right,” Carroll said.

Los Angeles coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead praised Cooks’ character and talent when they formally welcomed him to the defending NFC West champions, who had the NFL’s highest-scoring offense last year.

They’ve been interested in acquiring Cooks since before his first trade from New Orleans to New England last March. After Cooks posted another 1 Cheap Arden Key Jersey ,000-yard season and reached the Super Bowl with New England, the Rams finally got him Monday.

“I thought it was awesome,” Fitzpatrick added. “That’s the type of win that can kick-start a season.”

The last-place Bucs still face a difficult path toward relevance in the tough NFC South, especially with Winston’s status uncertain.

NEW YORK (AP) A federal judge cleared the way Monday night for the NFL to enforce a six-game suspension of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott over domestic violence allegations.

U.S. District Judge Katherine Polk Failla denied the request for a preliminary injunction from players’ union attorneys working for Elliott. Failla put the ruling on hold for 24 hours to give Elliott’s legal team time to appeal Cheap Chukwuma Okorafor Jersey , a likely move.

It’s the second time a federal ruling has overturned a reprieve that kept Elliott on the field. Earlier this month, a federal appeals court threw out a Texas court’s injunction and ordered the dismissal of Elliott’s lawsuit there.

The NFL briefly enforced Commissioner Roger Goodell’s suspension before a judge sitting in for Failla in the Southern District of New York issued a temporary restraining order that blocked the punishment for the second time.

If the suspension holds this time, Elliott will be out starting Sunday at home against Kansas City. He will be eligible to return Dec. 17 at Oakland.

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Houston’s 13-12, 10-inning victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers was the second-most watched World Series Game 5 since 2003, trailing only the Chicago Cubs’ 3-2 win over Cleveland last year.

Fox said Sunday’s game averaged 19.6 million on its three outlets, drawing 18,940,000 on the main Fox Network, 496,000 on Fox Deportes and 172,000 on the digital stream Fox Sports Go.

That was down 21 percent from 24.2 million for last year’s Game 5: 23.6 million on Fox Bills Russell Bodine Jersey , 342,000 on Fox Deportes and 135,500 on Fox Sports Go, Last year drew the most viewers for a fifth game since the Florida Marlins beat Cleveland 8-7 in 1997.

Tiger Woods is returning to competition at his holiday tournament in the Bahamas the week after Thanksgiving.

Woods has not played since he withdrew from the Dubai Desert Classic on Feb. 3 with back spams. Two months later, he had his fourth back surgery in just over two years.

Woods will be part of the 18-man field at the Hero World Challenge, which starts Nov. 30 at Albany Golf Club. Woods is eligible as the tournament host.

A year ago, Woods returned at this tournament after 15 months recovering from two back surgeries. He made 24 birdies, but finished 15th out of 18 players.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) – Two University of South Dakota football players have been arrested on charges of second degree rape after an alleged assault earlier this month at an off-campus residence.

Police in Vermillion, South Dakota Authentic Adrian Clayborn Jersey , say in a statement that Danny Rambo and Dale Williamson turned themselves in Monday evening.

School officials say they received a complaint last week about the Oct. 22 alleged attack and turned it over to law enforcement.

University president James W. Abbott says the accusations are ”very troubling” and the school is cooperating with police.

Rambo is a junior defensive back from Texarkana, Texas, who was an honorable mention Missouri Valley Football Conference selection in 2016, according to the school’s athletic website. Williamson, from Donalsonville, Georgia, is a sophomore defensive back who played in five games last year.

But the longer he sits, the more likely it becomes Luck won’t play at all this season – a possibility that was bolstered by the fact Pagano confirmed his starting quarterback would miss a third consecutive week of practice.

The news comes just 3+ weeks after Luck told reporters he sensed he was ”getting close to the finish.”

What happened?

After having surgery in January, Luck missed all of the offseason workouts Authentic Sidney Crosby Jersey , all of training camp, the entire preseason and the first eight regular-season games. He didn’t start throwing to teammates till early October and after two weeks of going every other day, Luck complained of soreness in the shoulder.

General manager Chris Ballard told reporters on Oct. 18 that Luck had been ”shut down” after receiving a cortisone shot.

Since then, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 draft has not been working out during the open portions of practice. Pagano said he wasn’t sure if Luck might have been throwing out of view.

On Sunday, Fox Sports first reported Luck was seeking another opinion on the shoulder.

”We’re going to exhaust all resources because the best interest is the players and it’s long term and we’ve said that,” Pagano said when asked about the report. ”It’s 10 or 12 years for this guy, for any player. So we’re going to make sure he’s all right before we put him out there Cheap Malik Jefferson Jersey , or any player.”

Luck didn’t take questions Monday.

Without their starting quarterback, the Colts (2-6) are off to their worst start since 2011 and their playoff hopes are fading fast.

That has prompted many outsiders to openly debating whether it’s worth playing Luck – even if he can come back this season. The Colts visit Houston (3-4) on Sunday then host Pittsburgh (6-2) before their bye week.

Time is running out.

Eight games are left on the schedule and if Luck is cleared to resume throwing, he probably will need at least several weeks of practice to get into game shape.

By then, the Colts could be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention or close to it.

All along the Colts have said they expect Luck to play this season, a notion Pagano reiterated Monday.

”Nothing’s changed,” he said.

If the Colts don’t think they can turn things around this season, they could be active in the trade market as Tuesday afternoon’s deadline looms.

Ballard has made three trades since joining Indianapolis in January and he might be willing to listen if a contender is willing to give up draft picks for a proven veteran.

The most likely targets are Gore and Davis Panthers Donte Jackson Jersey , who both have expiring contracts. There also have been rumors swirling around three-time Pro Bowl receiver T.Y. Hilton.

While there’s no indication anyone is leaving town, the players involved are aware of the possibilities.

”I’ve been traded before, so I know what to expect. It’s a business, you know,” Davis said. ”This is where my career blossomed. I had my best years here, so Indianapolis will always be a special place to me.”

Meanwhile, Pagano is trying to help the Colts dig themselves out of a major hole.

An interception return for a touchdown that led to Indy’s loss in Cincinnati has put the Colts 2+ games behind AFC South co-leaders Jacksonville and Tennessee.

It’s been nearly a year since Thomas’ last touchdown catch.

”I know, I know, it’s been a while,” said Thomas, who scored 52 times in his first 95 career NFL games before failing to reach the end zone in his last 13. ”I don’t know how to feel anymore. I heard a lot of people talking about it. It’s been a while.”

Ever since his 2-yard TD grab from Trevor Siemian at New Orleans last Nov. 13.

Teammates say Thomas has never displayed any frustration over his drought and coaches say the eighth-year pro who’s the longest tenured member of the team isn’t one to beg them for more chances.

”No, Demaryius doesn’t get frustrated. At least he doesn’t show it,” receiver Emmanuel Sanders said. ”He might be mad, but he’ll still smile at you and walk away.”

Coach Vance Joseph said the Broncos just haven’t been able to make opponents pay for scheming every week to keep Thomas from hurting them.

”He is a No. 1 receiver in our offense and game plans are made to stop him from scoring touchdowns Authentic Kevin Hogan Jersey ,” Joseph said. ”Our overall goal is to win games, whoever scores the touchdowns. He’s one of our best players. So, the more he sores the more we can win. Our pass game goes through 88 (Thomas) and 10 (Sanders). However the play us, we have to take advantage of it.”

Thomas’ lack of outward emotion doesn’t mean he’s not burning on the inside.

It just doesn’t work out that way. Half the time, it’s about winning. But as a receiver, you do want to score touchdowns. I do want to score.”

It hasn’t helped Thomas that Sanders has missed the last two games with a sprained right ankle. (He’s questionable for Sunday), but even against constant double-teams Ravens Robert Griffin III Jersey , the Broncos have been trying to get their 6-foot-3, 230-pound receiver the ball in the red zone.

”I think it’s a matter of when the time comes to make the plays, make the throws and win versus certain coverages,” offensive coordinator Mike McCoy said. ”It’s not that we’re not trying to get him the ball. You look at targets in the red area, he’s up there. I think there are certain plays he might say that he didn’t win on a release whether it was a decision we made in progression whether there was a protection breakdown.

”I think with Emmanuel and D.T., there are plenty of plays that are asterisked with those guys’ names on it that we’re trying to get them the ball. A lot of the passing game, with those two special players, not just Demaryius, but with Emmanuel Authentic Ian Thomas Jersey , we’re trying to get those two guys the ball often.”

When the Broncos practiced this week’s red zone plays on Thursday, Sanders took a break from pestering the coaching staff to target him.

”Most of the time I’m in the back like, `Give me that play! Give me that play!” Sanders said.

”I was like, `Hey, give it to D.T. give it to D.T.” Sanders said. ”He’s getting to go a full year without a touchdown, so we have to change that. I’m praying that he goes on a run and has – look at that guy in Houston. He has what? Thirteen catches and seven touchdowns – Will Fuller. Hopefully, Demaryius can be that guy and I came come up next and do the same thing.”

Thomas isn’t the only one aching to get back into the end zone.

The Broncos’ offense has been so inefficient that no wide receiver has scored a touchdown since Week 2, when Sanders caught a pair of TD passes.

This week, the Broncos benched the turnover-prone Siemian after their fourth loss in five games and promoted backup Brock Osweiler  Authentic Derek Holland Jersey , who went 5-2 during their Super Bowl-winning season two years ago in place of an injured Peyton Manning.

Having a history with Osweiler should make for a smooth transition, Thomas said.

The Rams (11-5) are a team transformed as they head into the first playoff game in 13 years on Saturday night against Atlanta (10-6). Goff is leading the way after putting up 3,804 yards and 28 TD passes, but he claims to be only one part of a remarkable machine built by first-year coach Sean McVay.

With the defending NFC champions visiting the Coliseum on a short week of preparation, Goff and the Rams aren’t wasting time deciding who’s responsible for one of the most remarkable single-season resurgences in recent NFL history.
