Broncos Good morning http://www.broncoscheapauthenticstore.com/domata-peko-jersey-cheap , Broncos Country! Is it crazy to keep talking about Phillip Lindsay? No.Not when the former-UDFA-turned-Pro-Bowl-cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is talking about him.“30 reminds me of myself when I was a rookie,” Harris Jr. said of the undrafted running back out of the University of Colorado. “I love watching him for sure.”The way Harris Jr. sees himself most in Lindsay is how much No. 30 is contributing - even as a rookie - on both special teams and in the offense.“Him doing that right there is something that we’ve needed. We needed a spark, and he’s bringing that to us,” Harris Jr. said. Lindsay sees that as his role too - something he mentioned in his post-game interview on Sunday.“I am here to be our spark player. I am here to make sure that I get my teammates going, whether it is on a punt, if it is on a kickoff or kickoff return, anything,” he said. “I am going to do what I have to to get our team moving.”Harris Jr. sees that happening and believes bigger things are in store for Lindsay too.“A lot of Offensive Players of the Year are top running backs, and he already has more yards,” Harris Jr. noted. “If he keeps that up, he’s going to be on his way.”Lindsay already appears to be on his way, having tallied 178 rushing yards, 35 receiving yards and averaging 8.9 yards per touch through just two weeksOh, and he is the leading rookie running back right now for rushing yards - 44 yards ahead of first-round sensation Saquon Barkley and 77 yards over fellow teammate and third-round pick Royce Freeman. He also owns the third-best rushing tally so far among all NFL running backs. Thanks to Lindsay’s 107 yards rushing against the Raiders in Week 2, the Boulder grad is up for two fan-vote superlatives this week - NFL Rookie of the Week and the FedEX Air and Ground Award (pssst...if you haven’t voted yet, I don’t even know who you are anymore).Oh yeah, and there’s another pretty good running back talking about Lindsay too.“I already envision in my mind there will be a day where it’s probably six, seven eight years from now and I’m meeting him on the field because the torch is being passed and he’s breaking my rushing yards record,” Hall-of-Famer Terrell Davis told Nicki Jhabvala this week.Lindsay insists he is “just playing football” despite being the first NFL undrafted rookie to have consecutive games running more than 100 yards.“I am just playing football. That’s it,” he said after the win over the Raiders. “I am just playing football for our team. I don’t think of things like that. For me, it’s just a great opportunity to go out there. I am just happy that we got the ‘W.’ It’s on to the next.”Speaking of that, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh - who said the team had considered Lindsay as a free agent right after the draft - certainly isn’t looking past the 5-foot-8 running back now.“He’s quick Youth Royce Freeman Jersey , he’s kind of fearless. They put him in good situations. ...They get the ball outside quick on the edge a couple different ways. ...The offensive line has done a good job, but this kid is running, and he’s making plays with his speed and his fearlessness. He’s doing it as a kick returner, [too]. He’s back there as a kick returner as well – pretty impressive.”Horse Tracks - docllv’s pick of the weekHow Phillip Lindsay's roots guide his devotion to the Denver community“I’m never going to be too big for this,” Lindsay said before speaking to West High School's football team for the weekly Broncos High School Game of the Week.Horse TracksWay Back When: Manning's magical seven-touchdown night against the RavensJim Saccomano recalls the time Peyton Manning tied an NFL record against the Baltimore Ravens.Phillip Lindsay leads a youth movement key to Broncos’ 2-0 start - Denver Broncos- ESPNPhillip Lindsay, Royce Freeman, Courtland Sutton among the Broncos rookies whose impact already has teammates talking.Bettors claim to be cheated out of big payouts from Broncos winFanDuel claims its rules that if a “palpable error” is made then it is only obliged to pay “the correct price at the time at which the bet was placed.”Denver Broncos: A look at series history with Baltimore RavensThe Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens square off in Week 3 of the 2018 NFL season. The second-year player had a solid camp and preseason but could not crack an already deep Broncos defensive line.Williams is a second year player so he does have Practice Squad eligibility I believe so he is another name to watch in that regard. He has earned praise from coaches and onlookers all summer but the Broncos just didn’t have a spot on the roster for him. You have the likes of Derek Wolfe, Adam Gotsis, Shelby Harris, DeMarcus Walker, and Clinton McDonald ahead of him. He needed an injury to ever have a solid chance and that never happened. Williams was down right dominant at times last night in the preseason finale against the Arizona Cardinals. He was credited with a sack but with clearly a man amongst men out there. Williams like most will have to clear waivers before being able to join the Broncos practice squad. It is possible he is claimed by a team desperate for D-Line depth, but if that does not happen, expect him back with the Broncos in a few days.

K.J. Wright Jersey Denver Broncos 27, Seattle Seahawks 24 This was a game of massive plays and momentum swings. The game kept churning and turning, populated by momentous plays in each quarter. Of course, for Week 1 of 2018, the biggest moments we’re talking about are the non-fumble, the Emmanuel Sanders touchdown rumble, the missed field goals (come on, you had two tries!) and of course the extremely debatable Demaryius Thomas touchdown. There’s little need to break down the biggest plays, a couple days after they’ve turned to lines in a box score and bad or good memories. They can’t be changed, we know they mattered, and we largely know what went wrong. On the negative side: Bad tackling, bad angles, bad calls, bad execution, bad luck. Sometimes all five at once. On the positive: brilliance by a Seahawk, or two, or three at a time. What we’re used to.Meanwhile, just below the radar, some of the game’s most important decisions or moments came and went with comparatively little fanfare. Those plays, maybe not the tuning points, but at least the swerving points, if you will, are what this weekly series is about.Earl’s playing timeWhen Kam Chancellor held out in 2015, the Seahawks defense suffered. They gave up 61 points in Weeks 1 and 2 combined while Chancellor fruitlessly “negotiated” with the front office; in the five games following his return, they gave up a total of 67 points. His presence mattered, as illustrated most vividly by The Punch, his answer to Earl Thomas’ karate chop exploits. In a similar, yet far less obvious way, Earl’s delay in reporting to camp cost Seattle. But wait — hold on. How can I bag on Earl’s importance when he yet again made a difference? How can I complain about the guy who teleported for an interception that led to points? Only because the holdout he (again fruitlessly) insisted on led to partial playing time in Week 1.Thomas sat out on 10 plays out of 74 logged by the defense. In years past he’s been on the field 99 percent of time when healthy. As Ben Baldwin of The Athletic points out, those 10 Earl-less plays cost the Seahawks dearly.ET’s presence kept the Broncos in negative points expected; his absence kept them in the positive. The more he plays, the less the bad guys score. Play more, Earl. For all our sakes.Situational rushingAt first glance, the Seahawks rushing game looks unbalanced, promising, underused, potent or mysterious. It’s all of those, of course, but the thing I want to focus on is exactly when Seattle elected to keep the ball on the ground, and how that impacted success. The Seahawks’ 15 rushes came on:1st and 10 nine times: one success2nd and 10 three times: one success, by Russell Wilson3rd and 16 once: no successes, for obvious reasons2nd and less than 10 twice: two successes, one by Chris Carson, one by Rashaad Penny13 times out of 15, Seattle ran with 10 or more yards to go, in a situation that puts the RB at a disadvantage. It’s hard to make the running game work when all it does is set up second and long Cheap Doug Baldwin Jersey , or third and long. Both times they ran in favorable downs and distances, though, they got the first, or half the yardage necessary. There’s a lesson to be learned there. It’s not quite “never run,” sorry to that crowd, but it’s definitely not “establish the run” either.Since we’re on Carson, his biggest gain from scrimmage was wiped out on a J.R. Sweezy holding penalty. On the plus side, he qualified for the next Olympics 110 hurdles team. It’s no surprise that on their 14 rushes, Rashaad Penny and Carson were successful only thrice. Yet, somehow, it gets worse. On Carson’s final “successful” run, midway through the third quarter, cheat code linebacker Von Miller helped himself to the football. In other words, almost every running back carry (12 out of 14!) on Sunday was a waste of a down or resulted in a turnover. No wonder Seattle went heavy on the pass, with only 15 rushes to 39 dropbacks.Seeing if Seattle elects to run on more manageable downs in Week 2, making those runs more valuable and less a waste of a snap, is something to watch for.Tyler Lockett’s punt return decisionsIt isn’t Pick-on-Tyler-Lockett week. He got the Seahawks fully back into the game on the second play of the fourth quarter with a 51-yard touchdown catch that might set the tone for a big year. If you want a further breakdown and don’t mind giving the Seattle Times a click, have at it:It was a typical creative moment from two men who’ve not always been on the same page, or healthy at the same time, since Lockett entered the league three seasons ago. We’re not here to talk about Lockett’s big play, though. More salient to the final result is how the Seahawks needed Lockett to be a little bit better last Sunday on special teams.Lockett got six chances to make a difference on kick returns, fielding two kickoffs and four punts. One kickoff return was a disaster, all of nine yards, forcing the Seahawks to start on their own 16, the victim of hidden yards. The other was fine, good even, a 30-yard scamper. But on punt returns, Lockett’s decisions were costly. He let the first punt, a returnable one, bounce for another 10 yards in Denver’s favor. On the second he netted nine yards, but on the the third he lost a couple. Finally, a four-yard return on which he did nothing special rounded out his day. Out of six chances, four results were subpar. The Seahawks don’t need Lockett to be an All-Pro return man, though it’s clear he’s cabaple of performing at that level. They just needed him to be a little bit better Sunday, especially in a game decided by three points. As many games might turn out to be this season. The decision to kick that ill-fated FGThere’s really not much of a rationale for taking Sebastian Janikowski off the field on 4th and 6, when his field goal try had just been moved up five yards after a practice kick. The odds say he’s going to make a 46-yarder; statistically, it’s not prime go-for-it real estate. The Fourth Down Bot from the New York Times would agree, and even it recommends going for it more often than any coach, besides maybe Philadelphia’s Doug Pederson. The bot says:With the ball on the 28, a close game almost halfway through, and six yards to go, the field goal looks sensible on a neutral statistical level. However. However, however, however. Given the time left on the clock, the ability of Denver’s offense on Sunday to move the ball Justin Britt Jersey , Case Keenum’s carelessness, and Janikowski’s history, the field goal choice presents some problems.1:56 left means that a succesful field goal gives Denver time to execute a two-minute drill. Going for it and making it ensures the Broncos won’t get a good scoring chance. Of course, going for it and failing gives them pretty decent field position around the 25, but they were going to get that on the kickoff anyway, with virtually the same amount of time.17 points already put up by the Broncos means a field goal, even if successful, is not the kind of score that will help you keep pace. You don’t know the final margin of victory will be just three points, and you can’t necessarily count on your green defense to be any stouter in the second half.Keenum had already thrown one interception and just missed gifting another to Seattle. The chances were decent that he’d commit another error, eventually. You can’t assume the Broncos would take advantage of a missed conversion. (As it is, Keenum sure did serve another up, lobbing the ball to Bradley McDougald a minute later.)Finally, it’s very much worth pointing out that Denver is not Janikowski’s second home — it’s one of his least favorite places to kick. His FG percentage is 72.5 at Mile High, compared with 80.3 for his career. Denver is the away city where he’s missed the most field goals (14), compared to 11 in Kansas City and 11 in San Diego/LA, despite fewer attempts in Denver even.Denver turns Janikowski into 2017 Blair Walsh. You’d like to think Carroll would know that going in.(Interjection Because I Can: McDougald is going to make a ton of plays, if he stays healthy. Teams will continue to avoid Thomas because that’s what they do, but that just means more balls in the other safety’s direction. With a few young and turnover-prone quarterbacks on the schedule this year — Mitch Trubisky, Josh Rosen, Jimmy Garoppolo, Matt Stafford, among others — I wouldnt be surprised to see McDougald lead the team in picks, or even the league. Yes I’m serious.)To summarize: the decision to kick is supported by success rates on fourth down and six. But since you’re in that area of the field, in that period of the half, where taking a chance doesn’t cost you a ton of field position and allows you maybe to keep the ball until halftime, and doesn’t require you to put trust in an iffy kicker, the decision is a lot more murky. Who knows how the game plays out if Carroll takes a chance similar to Fourth And Seven in the 2013 NFCCG.Looking ahead to Week 2Some interesting subplots are developing already. How will the new guys look after a week of trial (Tre-al) by fire?Is Will Dissly for real?Run-pass ratio was not what we were promised in the preseason; what’s up with that?Does Michael Dickson follow up his very nice day with an acceptable, or even excellent, encore?Third downs. Seahawks were 2-12. Will Week 2 prolong or reverse their fortunes? And hopefully, next week we’re talking about the under-the-radar plays that helped Seattle even its record at 1-1.2018 NFL preseason: Seahawks vs. Colts 1st half video highlights The 1st half is in the books for the Seattle Seahawks and the Indianapolis Colts in their respective 2018 NFL preseason openers. Indianapolis is nursing a 9-7 lead at halftime, and the first-team players on offense and defense are pretty much done for the night.Russell Wilson only had one series, and it was a good one, as he went 12 plays, 75 yards, and capped it off with a scramble drill touchdown to TE Nick Vannett. Rookie running back Rashaad Penny contributed on that scoring play by blocking the oncoming pass rusher. Chris Carson has also looked great in his return from injury, with 26 yards on 4 carries. On defense, it’s been a little bit up-and-down. They’ve prevented big plays but have had some issues in run support and covering running backs in the passing game, but there have been bright spots. Shaquem Griffin made four tackles in his first NFL defensive series, Shaquill recorded a pass defensed on Andrew Luck on the game’s opening drive, Justin Coleman nearly had an interception, and Barkevious Mingo and Rasheem Green each recorded sacks.Courtesy of Samuel Gold, check out the 1st half highlights of the Seahawks’ first exhibition game of the new season.

It’s week 6 and there are a number of great matchups today. Florida makes its 1st appearance on this list Womens Trumaine Johnson Jersey , but I am sure it won’t be their last. They are loaded with talent, especially at edge. I will be prioritizing games with prospects that fit our primary needs. Those are as follows: Edge, T, WR, RB, G, ILB, TE and CB. I added WR, and ILB to the needs list. Here are just a few games to check out, and who you should keep a keen scouting eye on throughout.Texas Vs. Oklahoma (Sat 10/6, 12:00 PM EST, FOX)Edge, Breckyn Hager, Texas (#44) *#60 todayHager has a great 1st step that lets him explode into the backfield. He needs to improve against the run.T, Bobby Evans, Oklahoma (#71)Evans has a ton of power and has the meanness that you like in a lineman. Looks to finish and dominate blocks downfield.WR, Collin Johnson, Texas (#9)Collin is a very tall receiver that does a great job at the LOS to get a quick release from the defender. He shows a lot of athletic ability with the ball in the air.WR, Marquise Brown, Oklahoma (#5)They don’t call him “Hollywood” Brown for nothing. This kid is a star and a playmaker. He can blow the top off of any defense.OG, Patrick Vahe, Texas (#77)Patrick is very good at getting to next level, and has above average mobility and uses frame to eat linebackers. OG, Ben Powers, Oklahoma (#72)Powers lives up to his name with a nose for power run blocking. Good build with little bad weight, durable player. Ben is a good puller and has very good reaction speed.OG, Dru Samia, Oklahoma (#75)Despite not having great lateral movement, Dru does move pretty smoothly to the second level. He blocks with a lot of powerCB, Kris Boyd, Texas (#2)Kris is a very physical corner who is smooth and athletic. He can be very sticky in man coverage. Boyd needs to add some strength at the next level.Other Notable prospects: DT, Charles Omenihu, Texas #90 - S, Brandon Jones, Texas #19Florida State Vs. Miami (Sat 10/6, 7:30 PM EST, ABC)Edge Youth Lac Edwards Jersey , Joe Jackson, Miami (#99)At the college level, the combo of Joe’s effort and athletic ability have made him a terror for the Hurricanes. He will need to develop more pass rushing techniques. He has 3 down prospects.Edge, Brian Burns, Florida State (#99)Burns has a variety of pass rush moves, footwork, burst and length. Brian’s ceiling as an NFL edge rusher is through the roof.WR, Ahmmon Richards, Miami (#82)Richards has a great release. Richards’ foot and handwork work together to beat press coverage and quickly accelerates.RB, Travis Homer, Miami (#24)I love watching RBs, and one thing I look at most is elusiveness. Making people miss is so important. Homes has this ability in spades.RB, Jacques Patrick, Florida State (#9)Patrick is a one cut, physical downhill runner. Patrick sees the field cleanly and knows how to work off his blocks.Off-Ball LBer, Shaq Quarterman, Miami (#55)Shaq has some great production, but there are times he looks like a chicken without a head. He is also technically unsound when taking on blocksCB, Michael Jackson, Miami (#28)Jackson moonwalked on the scene in a big way last year in an extended roll. Michael is more than just a great name. He is a very physical DB, who has that long bulky frame that teams love these days.CB, Levonta Taylor, Florida State (#28)Levonta is a little undersized, but his movement skills are something special. Taylor has lightning quick footwork, fluid hips and the speed to remain in phase with opponents to any part of the field.Other Notable prospects: QB, Deondre Francois, Florida State #12 - WR, Ahmmon Richards, Miami #82 - DT, Demarcus Christmas, Florida State #90 - S, Jaquan Johnson, Miami #4 - S, Sheldrick Redwine, Miami #22 LSU Vs. Florida (Sat 10/6, 3:30 PM EST, CBS)Edge http://www.jetsfootballauthentics.com/nathan-shepherd-jersey-authentic , Jachai Polite, Florida (#99)Jachai Polite has been the edge rusher on everyone’s mind early in this 2018-19 season. He shows tremendous athleticism around the edge. Pair that with his never ending motor and you have a potential monster.Edge, Jabari Zuniga, FLorida (#92)Zuniga has a way of showing up against inferior opponents. He will have the chance today to do it against a quality team.T, Jawaan Taylor, Florida (#65)Taylor has some great size that goes well with his frame. Jawaan’s hands are heavy in pass protection. He places his punches well, and can sit down against power. Taylor moves well, but isn’t overly explosive.T, Martez Ivey, Florida (#73)Ivey has all the physical tools you could want in a tackle, but there are too many times he looks like a chew toy for defenders.WR, Van Jefferson, Florida (#87)Like many sons of coaches, Jefferson is a very smart and technically sound receiver. His route running is superb.G, Garrett Brumfield, LSU (#78)Brumfield isn’t the biggest guy, but he plays with an anger and an edge. He is a smooth mover, and quick. He would look very good in a zone blocking scheme like ours.CB, Greedy Williams, LSU (#29)Greedy is one of if not the best defensive backs in this class. He has a near flawless resume, but does tend to be in chase mode a lot.Other Notable prospects: DT, Rashard Lawrence, LSU #90 - DT, Breiden Fehoko, LSU (#91)Jets Claim K Jason Myers Off Waivers, Waive WR Jonah Trinnaman The New York Jets have claimed kicker Jason Myers, recently waived by the Seattle Seahawks, and waived wide receiver Jonah Trinnaman in a corresponding roster move to make room for Myers.Jason Myers is a 27 year old, 5’ 10”, 190 pound kicker out of Marist College. Myers spent three seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2015 through 2017. During that time he connected on a decent 81% of his field attempts, including 10 of 19 from 50+ yards out, but was a miserable 86% on extra point attempts. The Myers signing suggests two things. First, Cairo Santos, who has been injured through most of training camp, appears to not be all that close to returning to full health. Second, the Jets do not appear to trust Taylor Bertolet with the kicking duties going forward. Signing a below average kicker who is terrible at extra points at this stage of the preseason does not inspire confidence in the Jets kicking game. One can only hope Santos will return soon and put any lingering doubts to rest.

Let’s answer some questions ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ matchup against the Tennessee Titans!John from Jacksonville Josh Lambo Jersey , FLQ: What type of game plan should the Jaguars use against the Titans?A: On offense, air it out with the passing game. Deshaun Watson was able to throw for nearly 10 yards per pass attempt and that helped open up their run game. The Titans are vulnerable to giving up big chunks of yards on single plays through the air, but it’s important that once you get near the red zone you get points out of it. The Houston Texans got within the 40-yard line on two of their first three possessions and missed a field goal or saw an interception. Get up on the Titans early and then the defense can pounce. Shut down Corey Davis. Right now he’s seen a full 33 percent of all targets in the passing game through the first two weeks. Erasing him should be a priority for this defense.Jeremy from Boca Raton, FLQ: Other than the Kansas City Chiefs, I feel like we win every game on the schedule. Maybe with Carson Wentz back we add the Philadelphia Eagles to the list. Can this team pull off 16-0?A: The biggest hurdle standing in the way of the Jaguars isn’t Pat Mahomes or Carson Wentz — it’s Blake Bortles. If he can consistently play the way he did last week, there’s not a team we lose to on the schedule, with or without Leonard Fournette.David from Aguadila, Puerto RicoQ: Who gets paid first — Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack, or Yannick Ngakoue?A: They’ll all get paid about the same time, but in order of priority, I think Jalen is the most important.James from West Liberty, NYQ: If you’re Tom Coughlin or Dave Caldwell, are you reaching out to Joe Thomas and seeing if he’s interested in coming out of retirement?A: Joe Thomas has lost over 50 pounds since retiring.Fred from Birmingham, ALQ: Jameis or Bortles? A: Bortles, easily.Colt from Pittsburgh Womens Calais Campbell Jersey , PAQ: What scares you the most (if anything) about this Week 3 matchup against the Titans? I hate the term “trap game” in the NFL but... this seems like a trap game.A: It doesn’t feel like a trap game to me, but the Titans had our number last year and really frustrated Bortles in two awful games last year. I can’t shake this nagging feeling in the back of my head that gives them a chance despite the Jaguars being the better team. All in all, I think we win by two scores on Sunday.Gabe from Chapel Hill, NCQ: Give it to me straight... how much is the loss of Cam Robinson going to hurt?A: Josh Wells had a decent game in relief of Cam last week. He’s not as good as Robinson at the point of attack, but he recovers well. Get back to me after the next two weeks and we’ll see how Wells is when he has time to prepare like a starting left tackle and when opponents game plan for him specifically.Mike from Eagan, MNQ: When are you going to stop typing “y’all” in social media posts and articles?A: Never, y’all.Jacksonville Jaguars promote CB Quenton Meeks from practice squad, release WR Rashad Greene, Sr. The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted undrafted rookie cornerback Quenton Meeks from the practice squad to the team’s 53-man active roster. To make room on the roster, the club released fourth-year wide receiver Rashad Greene Sr.With injuries to two of the team’s five cornerbacks on the injury report, activating Meeks from the practice squad makes a lot of sense.Meeks was originally signed by Jacksonville as an undrafted rookie this spring following a 39-game collegiate career at Stanford, where he totaled 121 tackles, 25 passes defensed and seven interceptions. Despite a team-high 11 tackles for the Jaguars during the preseason, Meeks was waived during final roster reductions on September 1 but has spent the first four weeks of the season on the Jaguars’ practice squad. He will wear No. 43 for the Jaguars.

Even though defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz said the Eagles will take their time in sorting out their linebackers http://www.officialblackhawksproshop.com/authentic-adidas-artem-anisimov-jersey , it’s a safe assumption, looking at their roster, that Corey Nelson is the frontrunner for the weakside job.

The Eagles released Mychal Kendricks last week, leaving an opening that Nelson hopes to fill.

“I don鈥檛 know what [Kendricks’ release] does,” Nelson said, via Les Bowen of phillynews.com. “I鈥檓 just here to give it my all, to compete to the best of my abilities, and to make this team better. . . . I don鈥檛 know where that puts me at.

鈥淚t kinda surprised me. I talked with [Kendricks], had a good relationship with him. Treated him as he was still gonna be here. It鈥檚 definitely a surprise.鈥?/p>

The Eagles also have Nate Gerry, a fifth-round pick in 2017 who is converting from safety. Gerry played only one game last season, and that was the meaningless regular-season finale against the Cowboys.

Nelson opted to take Philadelphia’s one-year Youth Keke Coutee Jersey , $2.25 million deal, even though the Broncos offered to match. Nelson played in 53 games with six starts in his four seasons in Denver.

The Eagles are training Nelson at all three spots, though he appears best suited for the WILL.

The Dallas Cowboys are best known as "America's team" because they appear on televisions across the country and their faces are very familiar to the general public, even if the lady or gentleman isn't a diehard NFL fan. However, you might disagree with this all-American belief, as there are other teams, like, say, the Green Bay Packers that better fit into the stereotypical ideal due to their plethora of fans who travel well and not just attend home games. But, anyways, the Cowboys continue to be one of the most historic franchises in all of professional sports Authentic Baker Mayfield Jersey , so let me dive into a Cowboys-related topic right now.

Like many other pro teams, the Cowboys have a rich history, but not all the previous players and coaches will be remembered by the average NFL fan on the street. There have been plenty of folks who went AWOL for whatever reason it may be, and no one really heard anything about them ever again. But, that's the sporting life, and not everyone will get the good things that they've ask for.

With all that said, here's my take on the 20 NFL players that everyone forgets played for the Cowboys. As always, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section. Enjoy my list! Happy reading!

Before the Vikings splurged on quarterback Kirk Cousins Dontae Johnson Color Rush Jersey , coach Mike Zimmer spent time pushing back against the kind of cap-busting move that would make it hard to keep the team’s young core players in place. The Vikings apparently will be trying to do both.

With Cousins signed and linebacker Eric Kendricks extended, the Vikings have three other young stars they hope to keep in the fold: linebacker Anthony Barr, receiver Stefon Diggs, and defensive end Danielle Hunter.

Beyond Kendricks, the Vikings already have extended defensive end Everson Griffen, cornerback Xavier Rhodes, defensive tackle Linval Joseph, and receiver Adam Thielen. Executive V.P. of football operations Rob Brzezinski has been negotiating the deals for more than 20 years Womens Melvin Gordon Jersey , and he’ll be trying to continue to keep the current team together.

鈥淚 would be lying if I said you don鈥檛 feel some pressure, because you want to be able to keep this team together and keep all your best players,” Brzezinski recently told Chip Scoggins of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

G.M. Rick Spielman realizes that the Vikings may not be able to accomplish the effort to extend Barr, Diggs, and Hunter.

“We鈥檙e still going to try,” Spielman said. “Is it going to be easy? No.”

One thing they won’t have to worry about is ownership; Spielman said that the Wilfs have never refused a request from the front office to sign a given player.

Brezinzki calls the situation a “good problem to have,” but it remains to be seen whether this approach solves the problem that the Vikings have been plagued with for more than 40 years: Getting back to the Super Bowl, and perhaps this time winning it.

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan calls permanently removing tarps from EverBank Field ”the most important thing” for the small-market franchise.

The Jaguars removed four tarps from the upper deck for the playoffs last season Shane Doan Jersey , opening up 3,500 additional seats.

The team announced in February it would keep the tarps off for good because of an increased demand for season tickets.

Khan says ”the look it gives us is not a good look for the city; it’s not a good look for the Jags.”

The tarps became part of the stadium after Jacksonville had half of its home games blacked out on local television between 2001 and 2004. Stadium capacity is now 67,932, and Khan says filling those seats creates a home-field advantage that has been missing from Jacksonville for years.

He says ”a key lesson for me is I don’t want to go back to when we don’t have a home-field advantage. That means no tarps. That means fans cheering the Jags on. I think it’s a vital, vital competitive advantage.”

ATLANTA — Backed by four home runs Womens Greg Olsen Jersey , veteran San Diego Padres left-hander Clayton Richard finally got his first career victory over the Atlanta Braves on June 4 in San Diego.

Now comes the hard part, though, as Richard tries to follow up that victory with one in Atlanta, where both he and the Padres have struggled.

Richard is 0-5 on the road against the Braves, going 0-4 with a 7.52 ERA in five games at Turner Field and losing last April during the first series at new SunTrust Park while giving up nine hits, including two homers, and four runs in six innings.

The Braves’ 4-2 victory over the Padres in the series opener Thursday night was their eighth straight at home over San Diego and 13th in the past 15 games against the Padres.

Atlanta, meanwhile, has lost 12 of its past 15 games in San Diego.

Richard (5-6, 4.40 ERA) is pitching well at home or on the road going into Friday night’s start against the National League East-leading Braves (40-28).

The 34-year-old former college quarterback carried a no-hitter through two outs in the seventh inning at Miami on Sunday and has pitched at least seven innings in six of his past seven starts while lowering his ERA by nearly two runs since early May.

It had been tentatively lined up for Richard to face the Braves’ Julio Teheran, who left early in the 11-4 Padres victory at San Diego on June 4 because of a right thumb contusion.

Brandon McCarthy (5-3, 5.03) will start opposite Richard, though, with Teheran now penciled in to come off the 10-day disabled list Sunday and face the Padres (33-38) in the series finale.

“He threw a good bullpen and he was fine Youth Chase Edmonds Jersey ,” Braves manager Brian Snitker said of Teheran. “The plan will be, unless something comes up from now until then, for him to start of Sunday.”

Teheran gave up three homers and then was pulled after facing one batter in the fifth inning at San Diego before the Padres battered the Braves’ bullpen in a seven-run sixth.

Given the nice cushion, Richard worked seven innings and gave up six hits and three runs in his first career victory over the Braves.

“You go from making sure you are executing pitches to making sure you are throwing strikes,” Richard said afterward. “It’s fun to have those types of games.”

Richard, not the offense, was the story on Sunday in Miami. The Padres are the only major league team to never throw a no-hit game.

Tyson Ross and Jordan Lyles took no-hitters into the eighth inning this season before Richard made it to the seventh, though.

“He’s such a contact-oriented pitcher that those aren’t really the guys that profile to get no-hitters very often,” Padres manager Andy Green said of Richard.

While Richard has turned his season around, veteran left-hander McCarthy has been heading the other way for the Braves.

McCarthy was 4-0 with a 3.09 ERA in April but gave up 14 runs in his first two starts of May and lasted just 4 2/3 innings in a loss to the Dodgers in Los Angeles a week ago.

The 6-foot-8 McCarthy, acquired from Los Angeles in an offseason trade, has enjoyed success in his career against San Diego, though. He is 8-1 with a 3.73 ERA in 11 appearances, including 10 starts.

There’s no doubt Saquon Barkley has the talent to be great NFL running back.

Speed Authentic Randall Cobb Jersey , power, quickness, smarts, good hands. The Penn State product who the New York Giants grabbed with the second overall pick in the draft has it all.

What he needs is knowledge. He has to learn a new playbook for coach Pat Shurmur and then pick up all the little adjustments that turn a college star into one of the NFL’s elite. And it all has to be done in roughly four months.

”Physically, he looks the part,” two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning said of Barkley. ”I’ll be excited to see him with pads on, in the open field, and see what he can do. He has done a good job.”

Barkley has done everything asked of him so far. He also has drawn some attention. Veteran defensive tackle Damon ”Snacks” Harrison quipped he couldn’t wait until training camp so he could ”hit his ass.”

Barkley laughed about it Wednesday.

”I’m just happy that we’re on the same team, and he only gets to hit me maybe once or twice a year, rather than facing him for a whole game,” Barkley said.

Barkley has spent a lot of time the past few weeks picking the minds of veteran running back Jonathan Stewart, Manning and his coaches. When he is not doing that, he is watching videotapes of Cardinals running back David Johnson and the Steelers’ Le’Veon Bell blocking and running inside and outside the tackles.

”There is always room for improvement on anything,” Barkley said Wednesday after the second day of a mandatory three-day minicamp. ”Playbook is definitely something that I feel like I am getting more comfortable with. I am seeing the field a lot differently. Understanding where I have to be in my pass concepts.”

Offensive coordinator Mike Shula said Barkley needs to learn the little adjustments that need to happen before and after snaps. He also has to learn how to adjust to facing different defenses each week.

So not only does he need to know the plays Rickard Rakell Jersey , he has to understand what happens when Manning changes plays, where the protection slides, and where he needs to be.

Barkley believes good backs run on instinct. He also says they have to help their offensive linemen by setting up their blocks.

”For me, I did it so natural in college that I didn’t even notice I was doing it,” Barkley said. ”Now, understanding and seeing the play before it develops and seeing the linebacker overflowing, that is how you set up cutback lanes.”

Defensive coordinator James Bettcher has enjoyed watching Barkley.

”He’s a special player,” Bettcher said. ”He’s a guy that’s going to create nightmares for any defensive coordinator, and matchup problems on any given down.”

After Thursday’s workout, the Giants will be off until training camp opens in late July.

Barkley intends to go home to Pennsylvania for his sister’s Sweet 16 party and later train in either Florida or California, or a mixture of both.

He is also looking forward to his first season with the Giants and being in the shadow of New York.

”At State College, it is like its own little city. It is a small city,” he said. ”Then, in New York Authentic Keke Coutee Jersey , you walk around and people know you. It is not like, `Wow they know me, I have fame,’ but it is like people notice you and what you are doing. I have not played a down of football yet, so I am just handling myself.”

ERECK FLOWERS: Ereck Flowers says his adjustment to playing right tackle is going well. He admitted it was tough being told he was being moved from left tackle to the right side after the signing of Nate Solder as a free agent.

”They have to do what is best for the organization,” said Flowers, the Giants’ first-round pick in 2015. ”I don’t have any personal feelings about it. For me, I want to prove myself every time I hit the field.”

The Giants did not pick up the fifth-year option on Flowers’ contract in the offseason, so he will be a free agent after the season.

NOTES: NFL Films was at Giants practice on Wednesday and Shurmur was wired for sound. … CB Janoris Jenkins says fellow cornerback Eli Apple has matured after a troubled season in 2017. ”He understands that there are going to be people that love you and people that hate you,” Jenkins said of Apple. ”No matter how good you play, it is still going to be the same.’

The Browns remain interested in former Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant while managing without Josh Gordon.

Bryant emerged as a possible backup plan for Cleveland after Gordon stepped away from the team to receive treatment to address his health associated with a recovery from drug addiction. The Browns don't know when Gordon will be back Youth Marquis Haynes Jersey , and in the interim they have discussed signing the temperamental Bryant, who spent eight sometimes combustible seasons with the Cowboys.

Following Friday's practice, Browns coach Hue Jackson would not comment on whether Cleveland's interest in Bryant has progressed to contract talks. On Wednesday, general manager John Dorsey said Bryant was under consideration.

"We are always looking for good players," Jackson said. "We can't get enough of those kind of guys, guys that can make plays with the ball. John is going to keep churning this thing as much as he can, keep finding talent and then see if it fits for us."

The 29-year-old Bryant, a three-time Pro Bowler, could help the Browns offset a prolonged loss of Gordon. But until they know more about Gordon's situation, the team may not want to make any substantial commitment to Bryant.

And while the Browns discuss adding him, Bryant gave Cleveland and any other suitors more to think about with a Twitter rant aimed at the Cowboys on Friday. The team declined a $5.5 million option on Bryant in April, dropping him for salary-cap considerations.

Earlier this week, Cowboys executive Stephen Jones said in a radio interview that quarterback Dak Prescott had it tough last year "with @DezBryant in his ear."

Bryant fired back with several profane tweets.

Bryant's history of being difficult with coaches and teammates could be enough to drive the Browns away. However, the team may be willing to take a chance without knowing Gordon's status and after wide receiver Ricardo Louis was ruled out for the season following neck surgery.

In their search to upgrade their roster further, the Browns hosted former Washington cornerback Bashaud Breeland and former Cincinnati cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones on Friday. Neither player signed, but they are both under consideration.

Jackson has a strong relationship with Jones as the pair worked together with the Bengals.

Jones does have a long list of off-the-field transgressions Trenton Cannon Color Rush Jersey , but Jackson said he would not have any problem with the team signing him.

"I do know Adam," he said. "I know what kind of player he is and what kind of person he is. If that happens, if he is on our team, I would love to have him on our team, but he is not right now so we will keep off of that."

Browns running back Duke Johnson believes Jones could bring the team a needed toughness.

"The thing I think I like most about Pacman is the chip he plays with," Johnson said. "We need more guys on this football team that plays with a chip and goes out there and fights tooth and nail for the team."

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — Sam Darnold’s first snap for the New York Jets on Monday night will be one for the record books.

The rookie will become the youngest quarterback to start a season opener in the Super Bowl era — since the 1966 season — at 21 years and 97 days old at kickoff against the Lions in Detroit.

Darnold, the No. 3 overall pick, beat out incumbent Josh McCown and the since-traded Teddy Bridgewater for the Jets’ starting job with a solid summer and preseason.

“We are trying to help the team win and we feel like he gives us a good chance to win,” coach Todd Bowles said. “We’re not starting him because he’s a rookie and he’s not ready. We’re starting him because he gives us a chance to win the game.”

Darnold will also be the first rookie quarterback to start a season opener on “Monday Night Football.” The former USC star is used to the spotlight and playing in big games, but even the coolest of California kids might feel a little case of the nerves before this prime-time debut.

“I’m just going about the week like how I normally would, so just going about it that way,” Darnold said. “I think toward the game I might get a little nervous. I guess we’ll see.”

The Jets have had just two rookie quarterbacks open a season under center: Mark Sanchez (2009) and Geno Smith (2013). Nope, not even Joe Namath did what Darnold is about to accomplish. Broadway Joe was Mike Taliaferro’s backup for New York’s season opener in 1965 before starting the next three games.

Oh, and both Sanchez and Smith won in their debuts, so Darnold could make it 3-0 for Jets rookie starting QBs.

But he also has a bit of history against him.

Here’s a look at how the previous youngest quarterbacks to start a season opener in the Super Bowl era fared in their first NFL games:

DREW BLEDSOE Womens Joey Bosa Jersey , New England Patriots, Sept. 5, 1993 (21 years, 203 days)

Loss: Buffalo 38, New England 14

After being the No. 1 overall pick, Bledsoe started right away for the Patriots — and had a rough debut at Buffalo. He went 14 of 30 for 148 yards and two touchdowns with an interception and was sacked three times while losing to Jim Kelly and the Bills.

Bledsoe started 12 games as a rookie for Bill Parcells’ Patriots, going 5-7 and finishing with 15 TDs and 15 INTs. He soon carved out a terrific career for himself and was selected to four Pro Bowls. A serious chest injury in the second game of the 2001 season against the Jets gave Tom Brady a chance to play — and the rest is, well, NFL history.

MATTHEW STAFFORD, Detroit Lions, Sept. 13, 2009 (21 years, 219 days)

Loss: New Orleans 45, Detroit 27

Stafford beat out veteran Daunte Culpepper for the starting job in training camp and was under center for the season opener at New Orleans.

Stafford went 16 of 37 for 205 yards and was intercepted three times, including twice by Darren Sharper, in the blowout loss. He ran for a touchdown Matthew Stafford Jersey White , though.

The No. 1 overall pick that year had much better days to come.

Stafford is the fastest player to reach 3,000 completions and last year joined Brett Favre, Dan Marino and Peyton Manning as the only QBs to reach 200 career TD passes before the age of 30.

JAMEIS WINSTON, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sept. 13, 2015 (21 years, 250 days)

Loss: Tennessee 42, Tampa Bay 14

Winston was the top pick in the draft that year and had a solid summer to win the starting job. He got off to a bad start in front of the home crowd, though, as his first pass was intercepted and returned for a touchdown by Coty Sensabaugh. It marked the first time a rookie’s first throw was returned for a TD since Brett Favre — then with Atlanta — in 1991.

Winston was 16 of 33 for 210 yards and two touchdowns and two interceptions, along with four sacks. He was outplayed by fellow rookie Marcus Mariota, the second overall selection that year, who threw four TD passes.

DeSHONE KIZER, Cleveland Browns, Sept. 10, 2017 (21 years http://www.steelersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-james-washington-jersey , 250 days)

Loss: Pittsburgh 21, Cleveland 18

Kizer was a second-round pick out of Notre Dame and beat out the likes of Brock Osweiler, Cody Kessler and Kevin Hogan to start the game at home.

He also nearly helped pull off an opening day upset , going 20 of 30 for 222 yards with a TD and an interception while also running for a 1-yard score that capped an impressive 12-play drive.

But Kizer was benched a few times during the Browns’ 0-16 season and traded to Green Bay in the offseason.

GREG LANDRY, Detroit, Sept. 15, 1968 (21 years, 272 days)

Loss: Dallas 59, Detroit 13

Landry was a first-round pick of the Lions out of UMass and started the season opener — and it wasn’t good. He threw four interceptions, including one returned 35 yards for a TD by Chuck Howley, in the rout.

He finished 15 of 31 for 231 yards and had two touchdown tosses, but was benched in favor of Bill Munson in Week 2. Landry started one more game as a rookie — a 12-0 loss to Philadelphia — before becoming mostly a solid backup and spot starter for Detroit through 1978. He also played for Baltimore and Chicago, as well as two years in the USFL.

Russ Brandon abruptly resigned his dual role as president of the NFL's Buffalo Bills and NHL's Buffalo Sabres after being confronted by the teams' owners regarding an alleged inappropriate relationship with a female employee http://www.falconsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-deadrin-senat-jersey , two people with direct knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press.

The people spoke on the condition of anonymity because it is an internal matter, and owners Terry and Kim Pegula did not provide a reason for accepting Brandon's resignation in a statement they released Tuesday.

The relationship in question first became apparent to a number of team employees during the Sabres' visit to New York for a game against the Rangers on Jan. 18, the people said. The trip included the team hosting a fan event at a bar the day before the game.

Kim Pegula will take over Brandon's roles overseeing the Bills, Sabres and Pegula Sports Entertainment, the company which controls the owners' numerous holdings.

In a text to The AP, Brandon said he has contemplated stepping down from the job for some time, and felt the timing was right after the conclusion of the NFL draft.

"My goal when the Pegulas purchased the franchise was to reach 20 years with the Bills, in which I achieved this past November Authentic Dontae Johnson Jersey ," Brandon wrote.

"As grateful as I am for the amazing experience and the incredible people I've had the privilege to work with the past two decades, I am just as anxious for the professional opportunities that lie ahead," he added.

Brandon did not respond to follow-up questions regarding his relationship.

Brandon's departure comes after the Bills made a big splash in the first round of the draft by trading up to select both Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen with the seventh pick, and Virginia Tech linebacker Tremaine Edmunds with the 16th pick. The new additions join a Bills team that went 9-7 and ended a 17-year playoff drought last season.

On Saturday, the last-place Sabres earned a boost by winning the NHL draft lottery and the right to the No. 1 pick for the third time in franchise history.

"We have a tremendous amount of confidence in the strong leadership team we have built within each of these entities over the last several years," the statement from the Pegulas read.

"We are excited about the direction of our teams, especially after this past weekend's NFL draft and NHL lottery results. Our focus remains on building championship teams on and off the field for our fans and community."

Brandon most recently served as the Bills' managing partner, was the Sabres alternate on the NHL's board of governors and a member of the NFL's business ventures committee.

The timing of Brandon's exit comes at a time he was supposed to oversee the Bills' next big venture in determining their future home. Brandon was expected to lead the team's stadium search committee in deciding whether the Bills should continue playing at their current home or develop a new facility in downtown Buffalo.

He served in various roles with the Bills Authentic Will Butcher Jersey , involving both marketing and football decisions during a two-year stint as general manager from 2008-09.

He also took the lead in negotiating the Bills' most recent lease five years ago, which played a critical role in securing the franchise's long-term future in Buffalo especially following Hall of Fame owner Ralph Wilson's death in March 2014.

The lease included a strict non-relocation clause that included a $400 million penalty the team would be forced to pay if it considered moving before 2020.

Brandon also oversaw the Bills' eventual sale to the Pegulas, who completed their $1.4 billion purchase of the franchise in October 2014.

The Pegulas retained Brandon and elevated him to the role of managing partner. The Pegulas thought so highly of Brandon, the Sabres were added to his responsibilities after the team reached a mutual agreement to part ways with Ted Black in July 2015.

Brandon's resignation continues a large turnover of Bills executives who served under Wilson. Bruce Popko is the senior holdover and now becomes the top executive as chief operating officer of Buffalo-based Pegula Sports and Entertainment, which oversees the Pegulas' numerous holdings.

Brandon grew up in nearby Syracuse, New York, and began making his mark in Buffalo shortly after being hired by the Bills in 1997 to serve as the team's business development and marketing director.

He began by spearheading a campaign to transform them into a regional team by expanding the franchise's fan base to offset Buffalo's dropping population base.

That process began in 2000, when the team shifted training camp to Brandon's alma mater Jalen Ramsey Jersey , St. John Fisher College in suburban Rochester, to capitalize on the community's corporate and larger population base.

Later, the Bills boosted their presence across southern Ontario by negotiating a deal to begin playing annual regular-season games in Toronto starting in 2008. The "Bills In Toronto" series lasted through 2013 before the deal was placed on hold the following year and then terminated by the Pegulas.

Toronto-based media giant, Rogers Communications, paid the Bills $78 million to essentially lease eight games (five regular season and three preseason) during the initial five-year agreement. The price was almost double what the Bills were projected to generate if those games were played at their home facility.

The series also spurred a large bump in season-ticket purchases from across the border. By 2015, the Bills estimated southern Ontario fans accounted for about 18 percent of their season-ticket sales, surpassing their support from Rochester.

Not everything succeeded under Brandon, who drew criticism for a number of decisions Adidas Jamie Benn Jersey , including failing to build a winner during his two-year stint as the Bills GM when Wilson elected to promote from within the organization after Marv Levy stepped down following a two- A county medical examiner says Minnesota Vikings offensive line coach Tony Sparano died of heart disease.

The Hennepin County medical examiner’s office said Monday that the 56-year-old Sparano died of arteriosclerotic heart disease, or hardening of the arteries. The manner of death is listed as natural.

Sparano died Sunday in Eden Prairie, a Minneapolis suburb. He had been the Vikings’ offensive line coach since 2016.

Sparano began his NFL coaching career in 1999 and had stints as a head coach with the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders.

He was the Dolphins’ head coach from 2008-11 and went 29-32. He went 11-5 and won the AFC East in his first season with Miami.

Sparano also spent time with the Browns, Redskins, Jaguars, Cowboys and 49ers.

PFT has obtained and fully analyzed the Odell Beckham Jr. contract. To see how the six-year Authentic Isac Lundestrom Jersey , $98.459 million contract is constructed, keep reading.

For starters, there is no extension. It’s a new contract that covers the next six years. The full details for the six-year deal appear below.

1. Signing bonus: $20 million ($10 million will be paid by September 19, $5 million will be paid by November 21, and $5 million will be paid by February 20).

2. 2018 base salary, fully guaranteed: $1.459 million.

3. 2019 base salary, fully guaranteed: $16.75 million.

4. 2020 base salary: $14 million. Of that amount, $2.75 million is fully guaranteed at signing, the rest is guaranteed for injury only. As of the third day of the 2020 league year, the $14 million becomes fully guaranteed.

5. 2021 base salary: $14.5 million. Of that amount Womens Joe Flacco Jersey , $12.791 million in guaranteed for injury at signing. The amount becomes fully guaranteed on the third day of the 2021 league year.

6. 2022 base salary: $13.75 million.

7. 2023 base salary: $13.75 million.

8. Workout bonuses from 2019 through 2023: $250,000 per year ($1.25 million total).

9. Training camp roster bonuses for 2021 through 2023: $1 million per year, if he shows up on the first day of training camp.

That last term is smart, and it suggests that the Giants don’t plan to rip up the final three years of the deal if/when Beckham feels like he’s underpaid. If he holds out in any of those three years, he loses $1 million. Period.

Here’s the cash flow: $21.459 million through 2018; $38.459 million through 2019; $52.709 million through 2020; $68.459 million through 2021; $83.459 million through 2022; $98.459 million through 2023. (Note that the cash flow through the first three years is more than $7 million less than the reported $60 million. That’s a fairly significant difference.)

He has $40.959 million fully guaranteed at signing, and $65 million guaranteed for injury at signing. Given the structure of the vesting, with the guarantees kicking in the same year the money is paid, the Giants could (in theory) part ways with Beckham after two years and $41.2 million over after three years and $52.709 million.

Finally, the incentives. (Actually, escalators.) Beckham can boost his 2022 salary by up to $2.5 million. He triggers the escalators in $500 http://www.texansauthorizedshops.com/authentic-jordan-akins-jersey ,000 chunks, getting another half million for each of the following accomplishments: (1) 96 or more receptions; (2) 96 or more receptions and a playoff berth; (3) 1,374 receiving yards; (4) 1,374 receiving yards and a playoff berth; and (5) 12 touchdown receptions. The same potential dollars apply to 2023, with the same formula based on what he does in 2022.

So to get the extra $5 million, he needs 96 catches, 1,374 yards, 12 touchdowns, and playoffs in 2021 and in 2022. At a time when someone other than Eli Manning likely will be the quarterback.

Again Giovani Bernard Jersey , the deal is very good, but it’s hardly the earth-shattering package that many thought Beckham deserved. And I’d still take the Sammy Watkins contract, especially since he’ll make only $4 million less over the first three years and end up back on the market.

Cleveland Browns starting right guard Kevin Zeitler will miss several weeks of training camp because of a calf injury.

The 28-year-old Zeitler did not practice Thursday, one day after being hurt and walking off the field with a trainer.

"Kevin is going to be OK, but he will be down for a little while," coach Hue Jackson said. "It is unfortunate, but we will get him back. Hopefully, he'll be ready to go in the next couple weeks or so. Those things do happen in training camp."

Zeitler has started all 48 games over the past three seasons, including 16 in his first year with the Browns. The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder played with Cincinnati from 2012-2016.

Cleveland's offensive line is in flux following the retirement of 10-time Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Thomas.

Left guard Joel Bitonio Jeff Carter Jersey , a second alternate for the Pro Bowl last season, has been moved to left tackle, where he is trying to block defensive end Myles Garrett in practice. Garrett was the No. 1 overall draft pick in 2017.

"Myles is bringing it, and that's the best look he can get every day," Jackson said. "It's really fun to see because Joel is not giving up anything. It's a battle and he's doing well."

Third-year pro Spencer Drango has filled in for Zeitler on the first team and will remain there.

"Spencer has played left guard, he's played left tackle and he's been on the right side before, so he has been all around," Jackson said. "That is a comfort that we have."

The Browns hold their annual "Orange and Brown" scrimmage Friday.
