The Steelers gained more than 500 yards. They scored 17 points. They lost. The Broncos upset Pittsburgh 24-17. It ended the Steelers’ six-game winning streak and dropped them to 7-3-1. They remain in first place in the AFC North ahead of the Ravens (6-5). The Broncos beat the Chargers and the Steelers in back-to-back games and have won three of their past five to move to 5-6 and remain in the wild-card race. The Steelers gained 527 yards Youth Jeff Heuerman Jersey , with Roethlisberger completing 41 of 56 passes for 462 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. The Steelers also lost two fumbles, one from the 1-yard line that rolled out the end zone for a touchback, and had a field goal blocked.Pittsburgh was on the doorstep of tying the game after reaching the Denver 2 with 1:07 left. But on third-and-two, Roethlisberger faked to James Conner and tried to hit Antonio Brown, who was well covered in the back of the end zone. He never saw defensive lineman Shelby Harris, who stepped into the end zone and intercepted the pass. The game’s other deciding play came on the Steelers’ second possession when Xavier Grimble fumbled at the 1-yard line on a hit by Will Parks. The ball rolled out of the end zone, and the touchback gave Denver possession. The Broncos got 110 yards and a touchdown from Phillip Lindsay on 14 carries. His 2-yard touchdown run with 9:17 remaining provided the winning points.Emmanuel Sanders caught seven passes for 86 yards and a touchdown, and Case Keenum was 15-of-28 for 197 yards and two touchdowns.Conner ran for only 53 yards on 13 carries and caught four passes for 42 yards.NFL Power Rankings: Week 6 Another week down, and another week of despair for Broncos Country. What in the world did we just witness on Sunday? Sure, I predicted in last week’s rankings that the Broncos would lose and be on a 4 game skid that ends in Arizona. But after seeing how lifeless our offense was and how gashed our defense was, I’m having a really hard time believing this current 3 game skid (and lets be real, the Rams will trounce us) won’t turn into a 6 game losing streak as the Broncos enter the bye.Recently we held a QB roundtable and I voiced my thoughts on what needs to be done. In the comments, someone was talking out their ass about why you don’t turn to Kelly because of his draft status and that he was never evaluated worth a damn (i.e. lack of talent). My response was:Later down when people contested my stance, kindsvaderpulled in some articles about Chad Kelly saying he’s the best senior QB in the nation and then Mike Mayock saying that Denver just got a 1st round QB. Here’s the thing: Yes, I realize a change at the QB position wont solve this team’s problems. But it sure will be a step in the right direction. The coaching staff needs to be put out to pasture or be told to coach as if they aren’t afraid of losing. If we can devise a scheme that makes Von Miller invisible for 4 straight weeks, to me, that’s on the coaches. If we stick our players in such awful positions to have enormous play after enormous play unfold as we stand helpless, that’s on the coaches. So yes, I know a change at the QB isn’t everything http://www.broncoscheapauthenticstore.com/brandon-marshall-jersey-cheap , but its a start. Brandon Marshall is either hurt or simply lost 10 steps and needs to bebenched. Roby needs help big time. Von needs to be allowed to attack the QB.Bolles needs to be benched, and our QB needs to be swapped out. Bill Musgrave needs to coach like he’s not afraid either. If we can do that, then we have a shot atturning this season around. But the catalyst needs to start at the team’s most important position: Quarterback and trickle down from there.Again, the Cardinals signed a high money QB only to make the change when it was clear it wasn’t working. The Browns did the same. Is Vance Joseph really that scared and spineless to make last year’s mistake yet again? If he doesn’t see this team taking on water, then he needs to be the first head coach to be fired, because he’s too dense and dumb to get out of his own way. But we sank Kubiak’s last season by sticking with a loser at QB for far too long. We sank Joseph’s first season by sticking with a loser QB too long. Are we really watching him make the exact same mistake and sink his second and likely last season by sticking with a loser QB too long? If the freaking Browns and Cardinals can figure it out, then the Broncos need to be able to or we’re even worse than those two teams have been (and they’ve been baaaaaaaad). Now onto the rankings. Remember, I’m ranking teams as they stand TODAY. Not a culmination of last year or the last decade. If they look like they are world beaters today, they’ll be ranked high regardless of what their record is. After-all, if we went by record alone, then Power Rankings wouldn’t exist!1. Los Angeles Rams:I still put the Rams here even though they sometimes go the distance. Like the Chiefs v Broncos, the Rams barely squeaked by a division foe. Simple as that.2. Kansas City Chiefs:As I thought, the Chiefs whipped up on the Jags. This team is LEGIT and yet more proof that just because you have a super young and unproven QB starting, it doesn’t mean you gave up on the season. ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION JOHN ELWAY AND VANCE JOSEPH?!?!?3. Jacksonville Jaguars:There’s no shame in losing to the Chiefs. Especially in Arrowhead.4. New England Patriots: Welcome back to the lofty perch you’ve been sitting on for the last 17 years. Once again, this team looks to start tightening their grip on the necks of their AFC East foes as they start dominating a pathetic division once again.5. New Orleans Saints:Drew Brees is one of the best ever. I remember always debating the “we should try to get Brees” from New Orleans talk the last few years. Hey Scotty, you always tell me “he’s too old” and “he’s declining so we should stay away”. Umm, hows that looking now? I’ll take 43 points from our QB, you wouldn’t?6. Baltimore Ravens: Are the Browns better than the Ravens? Maybe, but I need to see more from both sides consistently. This is why the Ravens are still here and the Browns aren’t above them.7. Minnesota Vikings:Stupid Eagles. That is all.8. Chicago Bears:Welcome back from your Bye. You moved up slightly via everyone else sucking.9. Carolina Panthers:Don’t look now Youth Connor McGovern Jersey , but they are finding their offensive groove. That can make this team really scary. 10. Green Bay Packers: How much do you drop a team for 4 missed FG’s? They say kickers aren’t players, so I want to not really punish them. But then again, QBs are no longer players either, they’re cupcakes. But 4 missed FGs is 4 missed FGs. And a loss is a loss. Especially to Detroit. 11. Cleveland Browns:They won a divisional game at home against the Ravens. Divisional games are always coin flips. Their defense held the Ravens to 9 points, which is amazing. Their offense only scored 12, which isn’t the best, but the Ravens are really good. If this team can keep their defense stout and their offense rounds into form, 11 will be the lowest they are the remainder of the year. See what Baker is doing? How will Chad Kelly not be that for Denver? How?12. Pittsburgh Steelers:You’re really messing up my “Tomlin gets fired and Elway hires him to win us some Super Bowls” strategy there Pittsburgh. So stop winning!13. Philadelphia Eagles:If the Eagles aren’t proof that the team that ended the year isn’t the same team that enters the new year, I just don’t know what is.14. Cincinnati Bengals:Congrats, you beat the Dolphins, which is no hard feat! I’ve called the Dolphins frauds all year, and they’re proving their 3-0 start was as much of a fluke as Denver’s 2-0 start.15. Atlanta Falcons:Attention NFL teams who are struggling: Play the Falcons, and you’ll win. What’s that movie called? With Jessica Alba? Oh yeah, “Good Luck Chuck”... where anyone who dates Dane Cook, well, the next person they date they marry. This is the Falcons. Anyone who plays them, breaks their losing streak.16. Los Angeles Chargers:Don’t look now, but the Chargers are trending up at 3-2.17. Detroit Lions:Eh, call me un-inspired. 18. Tennessee Titans:I don’t remember who gave me crap about the Titans being ranked so low. Said to keep ranking them low so they can make me eat my words... How’s that working out for the Titans? 19. Indianapolis Colts:These guys still have a lot of work to do. They need their offensive weapons back Cheap Courtland Sutton Jersey , and they really need to protect Andrew Luck better.20. Washington Redskins:I never thought I’d see the day when an NFL record was broken and it wasn’t against the Broncos. So thank you Washington for being on the wrong side of history this time. 21. Dallas Cowboys:This is surely too high of a ranking, but everyone else isn’t reallyany more deserving as of yet.22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Stay safe Tampa. That’s all. Just stay safe.23. Seattle Seahawks:Normally I really want to see the Seahawks lose (Never Forget 48), but I REALLY wanted to see them lose Sunday so I wouldn’t have to put the Chiefs as the best team in the NFL. Whew, thanks for dropping the ball Seattle.24. Miami Dolphins:See Tampa. Stay safe. 25. Houston Texans:Nice win, now put a few more together guys!26. Buffalo Bills:Holy crap, am I really seeing the Bills on these rankings before I’m seeing Denver? Yep, this isn’t a typo. The Bills often times look like they don’t even know how to play football, yet here they are.27. New York Giants:Giants unraveling Week 5 edition. Or is it like, week 32 edition? It’s been a few year of this. 28. New York Jets:Crowell - 219 yards rushing. Need I say more?29. Denver Broncos:Please, for the love of everything holy, when the Broncos are down by 20+ at halftime, can we stop this madness of trotting out Siemian Keenum and make a damn change to spark the offense and motivate the defense? Or have you really learned NOTHING from last year VJ? 30. Oakland Raiders:Well, at least when it gets really really dark in Broncos Country, we can count on the Raiders losing. 31. Arizona Cardinals:The only real question here is “after they surely beat the Broncos, will they still be second to last? Will the Broncos be ranked 32?” 32. San Francisco 49ers:The prophecy has come true: #1 overall pick for the 49ers coming up.

to Chicago Bears Not even 12 hours after reports surfaced that the Oakland Raiders were very much engaged in trade talks with several teams to offload Khalil Mack Womens Germain Ifedi Jersey , it looks as if they’ve found their trading partner to end the holdout saga.Adam Schefter broke the news on Saturday morning that the plan is in place for the Raiders to trade their pass nike_seahawks_3563.jpgrushing stud to the Chicago Bears. Ian Rapoport added that Oakland is going to get at least two first-round picks as part of the deal, so their asking price was met. This is obviously a huge blow to the Raiders defense, which was already bad to begin with. Former Seahawks LB Bruce Irvin is among those who is completely stunned. As for the Bears, if this trade gets processed, this will move Mack, who has racked up 36.5 sacks over the past three seasons, to defensive coordinator Vic Fangio’s 3-4 defense. You may be surprised to know that the Bears were right behind the Seahawks in DVOA ranking last year. The Seahawks are scheduled to play the Raiders in London this October, but they also have the Bears on Monday night in Week 2, so the Seahawks are going to wind up facing Mack a lot earlier than expected.Update: Full details on the trade. Update #2: Khalil Mack got PAID.7 things we learned about the 2018 Seahawks during the preseason The Seattle Seahawks wrapped up their 2018 preseason campaign on Thursday night, finishing August winless after dropping the finale 30-19. More than wins, losses or gawking at a rookie punter, the preseason is about evaluating players. For the Seahawks, those evaluations are complete, and news of roster cuts will arrive over the course of the next 24 hours, ahead of the 1 pm deadline on Saturday afternoon. Looking past the roster decisions looming over Seattle, there was plenty to learn about the 2018 Seahawks over the course of the preseason. Mike Davis won the third down back competition At the beginning of training camp, Mike Davis was viewed as a relative long-shot. C.J. Prosise was almost certainly assured a roster spot, given his talent, cost and draft position, while J.D. McKissic provided excellent insurance if Prosise were to suffer another injury.Instead, it was McKissic who went down. And following his injury, it was Davis http://www.seattleseahawksteamonline.com/sebastian-janikowski-jersey , not Prosise, who stepped up. As early as the second preseason game -- Prosise’s first -- Davis saw the majority of passing down snaps with the starters. Seattle used him in a variety of ways, splitting him out wide, keeping him in to block, sending him into the flats or simply handing the ball off. Davis’s run with the starters came as Prosise was covering kickoffs in the fourth quarter. By the end of the preseason, Davis had established himself as the Seahawks’ passing down back. He out-snapped Prosise, 78-62, and outproduced him on the ground and through the air. Despite starting camp as the fifth or even sixth back on the depth chart, Davis should play a key role in Seattle’s offense to start the season. The 3 deep returners will be skill position playersOne of the more curious story lines before any football was played was how teams were going to handle the new kickoff rule. The new rule limits the receiving team on kickoffs to just three players deeper than mid-field — the remaining eight must be within 15 yards of the ball. Special teams coordinator Brian Schneider wondered how teams would handle the new rule, saying:As Schneider said, preseason told us everything we needed to know. The Seahawks stuck with three skill position players as the deep returners throughout the preseason. Most recently, David Moore was given reps on punts and kickoffs, in an effort to get him comfortable fielding them. Against the Denver Broncos, expect Tyler Lockett to line up as the deepest returner, with two of Rashaad Penny, Chris Carson or Moore ahead of him. Shaquem Griffin is going to push K.J. WrightA knee injury to Wright has Griffin in line to start the opener against the Broncos, and it may give the front office an early chance to begin considering Wright’s future. A free agent after this season, Wright would likely command an annual salary in the $7-9M range on a third contract. As terrific as Wright has been throughout his career, Seattle has to save money where they can. Griffin has been terrific on defense throughout the preseason, flying sideline-to-sideline looking every bit the instinctive, fast linebacker he was at UCF. Set to count less than $650k towards the cap in 2019, if Griffin appears ready to start in an NFL defense during his short run with the starters to begin the 2018 season http://www.seattleseahawksteamonline.com/tom-johnson-jersey , he could be a full-time starter come 2019. It’s Germain Ifedi’s job in 2018Just prior to the third preseason game, Pete Carroll allowed for some excitement to build, as he declared “The competition is on,” regarding George Fant’s switch to right tackle. Since then, the competition has all but turned off. Jamarco Jones’ injury in the first week of the preseason hurt the Seahawks’ depth significantly, and it will hurt their flexibility throughout the year. By the preseason finale, Fant was back on the left for the majority of the game, after Isaiah Battle struggled mightily. Between injuries and a lack of depth, Seattle’s tackle situation looks to have sorted itself out. Duane Brown will start on the left and Ifedi on the right, while Fant will be restricted to a reserve role. Just 10 days ago, the right tackle competition was beginning and now, there doesn’t appear to be any competition at all. Rasheem Green is ready to contributeWhen Green was selected in the third round of this year’s draft, he was viewed as a natural replacement for Michael Bennett. However, Green’s lack of technical ability and functional strength made him more of a developmental prospect than a day one contributor. As early as the first week of preseason, Green displayed promising growth in his game. During a productive preseason, Green won with hand usage, power and even held up against the run. There were snaps were he looked closer to the player he was at ‘SC, but overall, Green appeared to have grown his game considerably over the course of a couple months.Injuries will force Green into the rotation earlier than anticipated, but his preseason indicates he is more than ready to do so. Lining up both on the edge and inside, Green will get a chance to carry his production and performance into the regular season. The Seahawks are going to lean on their SAM linebackersBarkevious Mingo’s signing in March signaled the return of a skill set that has been missing since Bruce Irvin’s departure. A SAM ‘backer in base, Mingo Authentic Shaquem Griffin Jersey , like Irvin, is a natural pass rusher capable of coming off the edge on passing downs. With a depleted group of edge rushers to begin the 2018 season, Mingo will be rushing the passer regularly. Both Mingo and rookie Jacob Martin played a considerable amount of snaps on the line of scrimmage in August, especially on obvious passing downs. When Mingo was first signed, he was the sixth or seventh player down the depth chart for pass rushers; now, he should be one of the first in the rotation. Seattle has lacked versatility at the SAM linebacker position in recent years, but in 2018, they’ll be leaning on that versatility more than ever. David Moore will feature in the Seahawks’ offenseAlmost immediately, Moore began drawing praise out of training camp. Russell Wilson, Brian Schottenheimer and Carroll all commented on Moore’s ability to win in one-on-ones, and the trust of quarterbacks that comes with that trait. Schottenheimer stressed how important that is during his first media session of camp:Moore was excellent throughout the preseason, totaling six catches for 147 yards and a touchdown. There were several instances of quarterbacks, whether it was Wilson, Austin Davis or Alex McGough, targeting Moore despite blanket coverage. In a limited sample size, Moore has proven to be the team’s best contested catch receiver. Even when Moore didn’t complete the catch, his size and ability above the rim caused problems. Against the Oakland Raiders, Davis targeted a covered Moore in the end zone, who drew a pass interference flag after fighting back to the ball. Not only has Moore done enough to stick on Seattle’s 53-man roster after his second preseason, he has displayed the physical traits and ability to continue to see snaps as an outside receiver in the Seahawks’ offense. Brandon Marshall may have been brought in to provide the big-bodied presence vacated by Jimmy Graham’s departure, but it should be Moore who is given the chance to shine in that role.

again on Wednesday in preparation for their game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. The Jaguars got good news on Monday for their initial practice www.jaguarscheapstore.com , as running back Leonard Fournette returned to practice. Fournette is also expected to practice on Wednesday, which means it’s likely he will play on Sunday.Fournette being back can do nothing but help the offense and in all honesty, could force them into running the football. I’m not sure how successful it will be, but the Colts defense is not very good and it might be an opportunity to work in both Fournette and Carlos Hyde and get something going on offense. On the flip side it looks like cornerback AJ Bouye is going to once again miss practice dealing with a calf injury and he will be one to pay attention to as the week goes on. While Bouye’s play hasn’t been up to last season so far this year, missing him is still going to be a big hit on the defense.2018 Jacksonville Jaguars depth chart: 8 way-too-early observations that are definitely (but also might not be) overreactions The Jacksonville Jaguars just released their first depth chart of the season ahead of their Week 1 preseason matchup against the New Orleans Saints and while some of the places these players are penciled in might not mean very much but they definitely don’t not mean very much Jacksonville Jaguars T-Shirt , you know? You know.Anyway, let’s go through the depth chart and talk about it because, well, that’s what the preseason is for.OffensePositionFirstSecondThirdFourthOtherPositionFirstSecondThirdFourthOtherDefensePositionFirstSecondThirdFourthOtherPositionFirstSecondThirdFourthOtherSpecial teamsPositionFirstSecondThirdFourthOtherPositionFirstSecondThirdFourthOtherWill Richardson ain’t a guardRemember when we thought the fourth round pick could be A.J. Cann’s eventual replacement at right guard? Yeah, it doesn’t really look that way. Aside from getting reps exclusively at right tackle — as far as I can remember — it doesn’t seem like head coach Doug Marrone or offensive line coach Pat Flaherty are going to mess with a position change along the starting five. Cann at right guard is Jacksonville Jaguars Hats , right now, a better option than asking Richardson to learn a new spot as a means of potentially shoring up that right guard spot.Keelan Cole is the No. 1 receiver...The Jaguars always list the No. 1 receiver at the top of the list. They did last year with Allen Robinson at the top and here they have Keelan Cole in his spot....and Donte Moncrief is way down the listHe’s been banged up a bit in camp so this makes sense. DJ Chark and Dede Westbrook are ahead of him. With praise from Blake Bortles as soon as camp started, Moncrief will likely get higher on the depth chart as the preseason progresses, but does he have the outside receiver opposite Marqise Lee or Keelan Cole wrapped up? I’m not so sure.Ben Koyack is still hanging aroundKoyack’s versatility as a tight end or an H-back on any given play makes him a favorite among the coaching staff. The fact he’s the unquestioned No. 2 tight end at this point says as much.Leon Jacobs has the inside track to strongside linebackerThere haven’t been many surprises or stories when it comes to camp battles because, frankly Jacksonville Jaguars Hoodie , this roster is solid at the top. There’s not a lot of spots for young guys to step up. But with Paul Posluszny’s retirement, there was a void at strongside and Jacobs has made the most of his opportunity.Jalen Myrick is fighting for a jobNewly signed D.J. Hayden is competing with Tyler Patmon for the nickel cornerback position and Myrick is the odd man looking out. The Jaguars likely keep five safeties as opposed to the typical four which could mean that they only keep five cornerbacks. If Myrick is going to stick around on the team that drafted him, he’s got to fend off Tre Herndon who has had a couple of highlights in camp so far.Taven Bryan is Calais Campbell’s heir apparentThere doesn’t seem to be much gray area. Bryan was an accomplished defensive tackle in college but it looks like the Jaguars are going to line him up a little farther from the ball. Defensive coordinator Todd Wash said he’ll line up as a defensive tackle on third downs and obvious passing downs, but Bryan has a real chance to settle into a true defensive end opposite Yannick Ngakoue.Marqise Lee is back at kick returner?Corey Grant was the unquestioned kick returner for most of the 2017 season but it looks like the team is giving Lee another shot like he had in 2016. Lee didn’t return a single kickoff last season but he’s above Grant in the depth chart. Maybe the coaching staff has some ideas for Grant in this offense to where they want him fresh for first and second downs?BONUS! Where is Malik Jackson?!Did he get injured? Is he on the trading block? Did the guy who filled out the Jaguars.com depth chart page make a simple, yet overstated Customized Jacksonville Jaguars Jerseys , mistake when he left the DT1 block blank? THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE. Out of integrity for the hallowed #online depth chart, I cannot in good conscience just assume Malik was going to be in that convenient blank spot where he makes sense to be and pretend everything is going to be okay. According to the official website for your Jacksonville Jaguars, it would seem Malik is not on the team.We will update as this story develops.

There’s been a consistent theme since the first game of the season. In the week leading up to the next game http://www.thebroncosfootballauthentic.com/jeff-heuerman-jersey-authentic , we’ve heard that is the one the Denver Broncos offense will put forth a complete performance. That Case Keenum and Co. are on the verge. “We can feel it.” Three games later, we’re still waiting for that to happen. Is Sunday in New Jersey against the New York Jets the day it comes to fruition? On Friday’s 1st & 10 @ 10 on Orange and Blue 760, Ryan Edwards brought up a great point with Broncos tight end Jeff Heuerman: After the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, it might be more important for the offense to finish. It’s a great interview that also highlights how crucial this game is for Denver. Bonus listen Check out Ian Henson’s segment from Friday’s show. He gives his thoughts on the loss to the Chiefs and previews Sunday’s game against the Jets.Report: Broncos cut running back De’Angelo Henderson According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis Womens Royce Freeman Jersey , the Denver Broncos have waived 2017 sixth round pick, running back, De’Angelo Henderson. This is a bit of a shocker but still not a huge surprise. Despite being a fan favorite, Henderson was surpassed by Phillip Lindsay on the depth chart and was on the roster bubble. The Broncos decided to move on and roll with Royce Freeman Youth Emmanuel Sanders Jersey , Devontae Booker, and Phillip Lindsay at running back. The fate of seventh-round pick, Dave Williams remains unknown. Henderson was a sixth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and quickly became a fan favorite. His play during the preseason was impressive, but it didn’t amount to many regular season reps. He had 7 carries for 13 yards for the Broncos which resulted in a poor 1.9 yards per carry. He did haul in two catches for 36 yards and his lone NFL touchdown.Henderson does have practice squad eligibility so he could land back there but first will have to make it through waivers unclaimed. There were reports that teams were showing interest in Henderson so we shall see how that goes.

for Sebastian Janikowski During Week 1 against the Broncos in Denver the special teams play was quite the mixed bag. While Michael Dickson continued his MVPunter campaign in fairly convincing fashion Seahawks Germain Ifedi Jersey , Sebastian Janikowski struggled on back-to-back field goal attempts from 51 and 46 yards respectively. I am not exactly the biggest Janikowski fan, if you follow me on Twitter—which to be clear is a terrible idea—you have seen me rant loudly about signing a 40-year-old kicker who didn’t play last year coming off a back injury multiple times. Two missed kicks from beyond 45 yards is way too early to start freaking out and planning his replacement, but for a kicker whose career field goal percentage is lower than that of Blair Walsh, I’m going to start anyways.Obvious but expensiveDan Bailey has been mentioned repeatedly as an option for the Seattle Seahawks should they want to upgrade at the position and secure the second most accurate kicker in NFL history. But, Bailey reportedly has four offers and could be looking to get as close as possible to his pre-cut $3.4 million dollar Dallas Cowboys salary. According to Over the Cap Seattle is sitting at just over $5 million in cap space, a $3 million dollar kicker effectively empties the tank on acquiring any other free agents or players via trade that require extra money. Don’t get me wrong, I would love for Bailey to come to the Seahawks. I just don’t think it’s going to happen because of the money. Steven Hauschka was cut over a cap hit that was one million dollars less than what Bailey is likely to command.Other optionsOf course the organization could just gut it out and look to move on from Janikowski in the offseason, which seems most likely given how Walsh was handled. But if the organization wanted to kick some tires, who is out there?Photo by Jamie Squire/Getty ImagesKai Forbath: Former kicker for the Minnesota Vikings. Struggled the last two years with PATs. He’s 47-of-53 on field goals over the last two years, including 7-of-10 from beyond 50 yards.Matt McCrane: UDFA brought in this offseason by the Arizona Cardinals to compete with Phil Dawson. Cut by the organization during preseason despite not missing a kick. However, his sample size is very low at the pro level. College stats are good, but not great: 81% on field goals and 3-of-6 from beyond 50 yards would effectively make him a league average kicker if he directly translated. His cap hit, however, would be very low.Denny Medley-USA TODAY SportsCairo Santos: Cut from the Jets after healing from a groin injury, currently unsigned. He’s a career 84% on field goals http://www.authenticsseattleseahawks.com/cheap-bobby-wagner-jersey , but struggles a bit at long range posting a 64% at ranges beyond 50 yards. However, this is another kicker Seattle would likely be able to sign for under $1 million in cap space, as his last two contracts were in the $600k range. Both non-Bailey pro options listed above have career numbers better than Janikowski, but cutting and replacing the special teams captain would likely have an effect beyond just the numbers, even if he hasn’t been with the team long. Additionally, you’d be asking Dickson to switch his holds a few weeks into the season. All of this culminates into a situation where it seems likely the Seahawks won’t go searching for replacements. Is it way too early to start panicking about the kicker position? Probably, but with the wounds of Walsh still open, perhaps you’ll forgive a little unnecessary indulgence.Seahawks video: Jarran Reed hoping that third time really is a charm Third time’s the charm for Jarran Reed? Yes, indeed. Yes, indeed. You can book it and take it to Vegas. Reed is coming off his first full season of starting every game that he’s played in for the Seahawks and he finished the season with 45 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. Almost Identical to his rookie season statistics, with the exception of 11 fewer tackles and nine fewer starts. Reed is a stout 2i: two-gapper defensive tackle who clogs up space and does it well. Reed hardly ever gets moved from his gap responsibility, which was a key reason he was drafted with the 49th pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. He has extremely long arms that helps him create separation for a bigger lineman, which also happens to be rare. Typically bigger bodies have shorter and compact arms. One of the main reasons why defensive lineman are usually the strongest on the team. Reed on the other hand uses his length to his advantage in pivotal match ups very often. His breakdown above has almost 11 plays of him doing so. In 2017 http://www.authenticsseattleseahawks.com/cheap-bradley-mcdougald-jersey , Reed didn’t have a lot of pressure on him to perform constantly with last years acquisition of Sheldon Richardson, who now plays for the Minnesota Vikings. With Richardson no longer in the mix in Seattle, most if not all offensive line coaches will draw up multiple combo blocking schemes to double team Reed, in hopes of taking him out of the A gap to free up running lanes completely. I know the Seahawks didn’t require Reed to be much of a pass rush force, but I’m excited to see how Reed has progressed in that area come preseason Week 1. Although I doubt Reed plays much until Week 3 of the preseason, in hindsight it’s still an area Seahawk hopefuls should keep an eye out on. With almost every team in the NFC West getting better at the quarterback or wide receiver position, Reed will be asked to improve on his consecutive 1.5 sack seasons. Not to beat a dead horse but just to be blunt on how important it is for Reed to improve his sack total here’s a fun fact:Dwight Freeney, Michael Bennett, and Sheldon Richardson accounted for 12.5 sacks. That’s a third of the 2017 defensive sacks gone in one offseason. Reed was never really much of a sack artist, even dating back to his days at East Mississippi Community College or at Alabama. Hence why I titled the article third time’s the charm: this is his third most recent team and also his third year in the NFL.To be fair, it’s not like Reed was ever required to do so either because he’s always had phenomenal players around him. This season I’m not so sure that will be the case. So hopefully this is the year things change.Overall I love the guy. Love is a strong word, but I do. Enjoy the breakdown and comment below what you like about Reeds game based on his film breakdown above. Until next time. Peace and light#StayDangerous.

The defense, even having allowed 71 points on their own field over the last two games, has gotten the short end of the stick from the offense. The Jets defense is playing at a top ten level on 3rd down, in the red zone Youth Brandon Copeland Jersey , and in the takeaway department. They’re doing that with the 3rd worst average starting field position in the league thanks to the offense. On the other side, the offense is performing at a bottom ten level in converting 3rd downs, scoring touchdowns in the red zone, and taking care of the ball. They’ve done all of that in spite of prime field position thanks to the defense and special teams - yet have still struggled and failed to give the defense rest and good field position in return. The Jets are 30th in plays and time of possession per drive.Injuries and offensive help considered, the Jets defense has done a respectable job thus far this year on the whole. There are a lot of long-term holes that still need filling, and the unit has been far from elite, but their situational ability has been impressive so far.Altogether http://www.jetsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-jason-myers-jersey , these numbers aren’t terribly surprising. The Jets are struggling to build consistency under a rookie quarterback, with a mediocre offensive line and banged up skill position group that is devoid of a star. Defensively, the Jets are a solid, but unspectacular unit that is prone to pay for its lack of pass rush and depth but has done a great job in key situations and with making big plays.Jets vs. Redskins final score: Washington beats New York 15-13 on last second field goal The Jets lost to the Redskins tonight 15-13 at FedEx Field. The Jets trailed 9-3 after a first half that was dominated by Washington. Sam Darnold completed 8 of his 11 pass attempts, which included a throwaway. He only netted 62 yards, which wasn’t really his fault since Washington’s pass rush limited the Jets’ passing attack to the short game. An ugly fourth down interception was his fault, however Brandon Shell Jersey , and was the first time this preseason he looked like a rookie. The Jets defense gave up a lot of yardage in the first half, but some timely stops and a good bounce of the football or two helped the team keep Washington out of the end zone. The Jets rallied in the second half, mainly because they had a starting caliber quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater going up against fringe roster defenders. Bridgewater lit it up, going 10 of 15 for 127 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Even that sells short the job he did because he was victimized by three drops. The Jets scored 10 unanswered fourth quarter points behind Bridgewater to take their first lead 13-12 with 1:52 left on a 20 yard Taylor Bertolet field goal. The defense could not get a stop, however, as the Redskins drove into field goal range aided by a penalty on Rashard Robinson and then a back shoulder completion on him. Dustin Hopkins hit a 40 yard field goal as time expired, and the Jets’ dreams of a perfect preseason came to a (not so) painful end.We will have more later tonight and tomorrow. If you want some immediate thoughts on the quarterback battle Authentic Eric Tomlinson Jersey , I have two.I don’t think the needle moved a ton tonight. I don’t think Sam Darnold or Teddy Bridgewater outright won the job or played themselves out of the competition. With a pair of talented young quarterbacks 25 years old or younger, there’s no way Josh McCown should be the starter.

After three weeks Womens Calais Campbell Jersey , we’re still dead even — three wins in Week 1, three losses in Week 2, and 50-50 in Week 3.How does Week 4 look? Let’s check it out!Note: I use Bovada’s odds just a few hours before the game for all the spreads.Los Angeles Rams (-7.0) vs. Minnesota VikingsThe Vikings are coming off an awful home loss to the hapless Buffalo Bills and now they’re traveling to play a Rams team that hasn’t won by less than 12 points all year?Bet on the Rams to win by more than a touchdown.Atlanta Falcons (-4.0) vs. Cincinnati BengalsA.J. Green is banged up and although I think he plays I just don’t see Cincinnati being able to keep up offensively without him at full strength.Bet on the Falcons and give four points to the Bengals.New England Patriots (-7.0) vs. Miami DolphinsTom Brady and Bill Belichick are coming home after suffering back-to-back double digit losses for the first time in, well, I honestly don’t know if that’s ever happened. Someone tell me in the comments if that’s ever happened. This is the get right game. Sorry, Miami.Bet on the Patriots to win by more than a touchdown.Jacksonville Jaguars (-7.5) vs. New York JetsSpeaking of get right games, Blake Bortles is gonna bounce back this week.Bet on the Jaguars to win by eight or more.Overall: 6-6 Blake Bortles is no longer Jacksonville's starting quarterback.Whether he regains the job in the next week is anybody's guess.Bortles fumbled on the team's third play of each half, leading to 10 points and his benching in a 20-7 loss to AFC South rival Houston on Sunday.Coach Doug Marrone yanked Bortles after the second turnover — his eighth in three games — and gave former Cleveland starter Cody Kessler a shot.Marrone gave no indication afterward if Bortles or Kessler would be under center when the reeling Jaguars (3-4) play a "home game" against Philadelphia (3-4) in London next week."It's open," Marrone said. "Who's the starter at right tackle? Who's the starter at center? Who's the starter at receiver? Who's the starter? Everything is open. We've lost three straight games and we can't stop shooting ourselves in the foot for lack of a better expression. ... We've got to do something Youth Myles Jack Jersey , but the first thing we've got to do is stop turning the damn ball over. Period. That would be the positive of how we can build."Jacksonville's third consecutive lopsided loss triggered quarterback indecision and heated commotion .When the locker room doors opened for media members, Calais Campbell could be seen holding back fellow defensive end Yannick Ngakoue. It was carry-over from an emotional postgame that included screaming, shouting and finger pointing."You all walk in here, you all see how it is in here, you all see how we vibe with each other, you all see how we vibe toward the coaches, you all see how it is," cornerback Jalen Ramsey said. "It is no secret what's going on here right now. Ain't nobody going to say it because we can't. But it ain't no secret what's going on and it ain't right right now."Ngakoue declined comment, as did safety Tashaun Gipson and cornerback A.J. Bouye.Their silence spoke volumes for a team that appears to be in upheaval — a huge fall after starting the season with Super Bowl expectations."I don't speak on locker room business Youth Cam Robinson Jersey ," linebacker Telvin Smith said. "Don't ask me locker room questions."Not everyone ducked the obvious."Be frustrated. Be frustrated all week. Change something," defensive tackle Malik Jackson said. "Change something you need to do. We need to look ourselves in the mirror and just fix it. I can't sit here and tell you what we need to fix, what we need to do, what needs to be done. I don't know. I just know that we need to be where we're supposed to be and just . something needs to change."The Texans (4-3) don't need to change anything after a fourth consecutive victory gave them a one-game lead in the division.Deshaun Watson threw for a touchdown after making the 800-mile trip to Jacksonville on a private bus to avoid potential problems that flying and cabin pressure might pose to his bruised lung and injured ribs. Lamar Miller ran for 100 yards and a score . And the defense did the rest, forcing three turnovers and sacking Kessler four times.Houston hosts Miami (4-3) on Thursday night."We were down and out and everybody was counting us out," Texans linebacker Whitney Mercilus said. "The thing is, we have guys on this team who understand that early on it doesn't matter. We just put our heads down and kept working and now we have to continue to do the same thing."Here are some other things we learned about the Texans and Jaguars:HAL STARTSTexans safety Andre Hal, who returned to practice this week following treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma, was in the starting lineup. Hal was diagnosed with the disease in May and immediately began treatment. He received the news of his remission last month. The game was emotional because his father Cam Robinson Jersey , Andre Hal Sr., died Tuesday, a few days suffering a heart attack."This was good for my dad," Hal said. "He wanted me back on the field and I know he was watching me there today. ... People didn't really think I'd come back, but I knew I would come back. It was cool seeing everyone kind of show some love to me."ONE-HANDED CATCHDeAndre Hopkins won several one-on-one matchups against Ramsey. His best was a one-handed catch for 31 yards along the sideline in the first quarter."That catch at the beginning of the game really got us going," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said. "He made some big plays for us. That's Hop."ANOTHER SHUTOUTThe Jaguars failed to score in the first half for the third straight week, the first time they've done that in franchise history. They have been outscored 57-0 in the opening two quarters in losses to Kansas City, Dallas and Houston.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Twins right-hander Ervin Santana may miss the rest of the season while receiving a series of platelet rich plasma injections in the middle finger of his pitching hand.Santana is 0-1 with a 8.03 ERA in five major league starts this season.“He had one done Carolina Panthers Customized Jerseys ,” Minnesota manager Paul Molitor said Saturday. “I think over a three-week period he’ll have that done three times.”Santana had surgery Feb. 6 to remove a calcium deposit on the finger. He made his first minor league injury rehabilitation appearance May 23 and didn’t make his season debut for the Twins until July 25.The two-time All-Star was still bothered by the finger and after five starts returned to the disabled list on Aug. 19.Santana, 35, is in the final guaranteed season of a $55 million, four-year contract. The Twins have a $14 million option for next year with a $1 million buyout.“I’m not really sure if the timing of when he picks up a ball will matter nearly as much as his ability to try to get through the winter and put himself in position to pitch again next spring,” Molitor said.Santana is 149-125 with a 4.06 ERA in 14 major league seasons. CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Coach Ron Rivera received a text from Cam Newton immediately after the Carolina Panthers selected Maryland wide receiver D.J. Moore in the first round of the NFL draft that read: ”Thank you!”The Panthers gave Newton more help on offense Thursday night by selecting Moore 24th overall in hopes of upgrading a passing game that finished 28th in the league last season.Moore was the first wide receiver taken in the draft.Panthers general manager Marty Hurney said Moore’s best quality is his ability to make plays after the catch.”When he has the ball in his hands he turns into a running back Carolina Panthers T-Shirts ,” Hurney said. ”He breaks tackles and makes big plays. And still he has the speed to stretch the defense and go deep. He runs good routes and has a lot of strengths.”Newton apparently took notice.”Cam stays up on all of this stuff and he came right to us with all of the offensive guys,” Rivera said. ”He pays attention to it.”Newton isn’t the only one high on Moore.Steve Smith Sr., the Panthers all-time leader in most receiving categories, said he likes the toughness with which Moore approaches the game and thinks he can be a big time player.”To be truthful, they have never been able to replace me” said Smith, now an analyst for the NFL Network.Smith thinks Moore might finally be the receiver that can.”You get that guy and you’ve got instant grits all day long https://www.carolinapanthersfanshop.com/hats ,” Smith said.”For Steve to say that is high praise,” Rivera said. ”I’m pretty fired up. I believe D.J. is a guy who can come in and play all three of our wide receiver positions.”Moore is the latest skill position player selected early by the Panthers in the hopes of giving Newton more to work with on offense. Last year Carolina selected running back Christian McCaffrey in the first round and wide receiver Curtis Samuel in the second to take some of the pressure off Newton after he had a down season statistically in 2016.”It was nice to know that whatever I did in college did not go unnoticed,” Moore said.Moore joins what is becoming a crowded wide receivers room in Carolina. The Panthers traded with the Eagles for Torrey Smith and signed free agent Jarius Wright from the Vikings earlier this offseason. Devin Funchess returns as Carolina’s No. 1 receiver after a breakout season in 2017 and Samuel hopes to battle back following an injury-plagued rookie season.Moore said he had a good idea the Panthers were going to select him.”It was a sigh of a relief when I saw North Carolina (area code) come up on my phone,” Moore said. ”I was like, `OK, this my pick.’ They told me when I was on my draft visit they were going to (draft me) Carolina Panthers Hoodie , so they kept their promise.”Moore was the 2017 Big Ten Receiver of the Year and first-team all-conference selection. He had a school-record 80 receptions for 1,033 yards and eight touchdowns in 12 games last season for the Terrapins. He also led Maryland in receiving as a sophomore with 41 receptions for 637 yards and six touchdowns.Rivera said Moore could also contribute right away as a returner in addition to playing wide receiver. The 6-foot, 210-pound Moore said he feels like he can be a week one starter at wide receiver ”if I put the work in.”Moore is the first draft pick chosen by Hurney’s since 2012. Hurney was fired by the Panthers that year after conducting 11 drafts as GM, but returned to the team on an interim basis last summer and was hired full time in February.Hurney said he didn’t think Moore would drop to No. 24.He said Moore reminds him a little of Smith.”He has that play strength and that ability to break tackles and make yards after the catch,” Hurney said. ”That is a pretty high bar to set (comparing him to Smith) but there are a lot of things we liked about him.The Panthers have made the playoffs in four of the past five seasons, but were knocked out in the first round last season by division foe New Orleans. The Saints swept all three games from Carolina Julius Peppers Jersey , which made finding ways to match up better with them an offseason priority.Carolina’s offense stalled most of the season in 2017 and it was often the defense that had to bail them out.The move comes on the same day the Panthers gave three-time Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen a two-year contract extension.—

Bears vs. Dolphins: Snap counts Akiem Hicks Color Rush Jersey , stats, and more All statistics and snap counts are taken directly from the NFL’s Game Statistic and Information System, as we’re the snipped pics with the snap counts. The Chicago Bears lost a game that they could have, and should have, won. The Miami Dolphins kept plugging away at the Bears and they came back for a 31-28 win in overtime. Head coach and play caller, Matt Nagy, was inconsistent with his decisions. He was aggressive, but then conservative. He showed faith in his young offense, but then he got cautious. Nagy is five games into his job, and we’re going to have to deal with his growing pains too. With that being said, the offense still put up 467 yards. They still racked up 23 first downs. Their offense was 8 for 12 (67%) on third down conversions. Did they do enough to win?I guess that depends on your perspective. The Bears were shut out in the first half, there were some missed opportunities, and they only had 124 total yards in the first two quarters. Football is a 60 minute game, and if the offense was better in the first 30 minutes, there would have been no overtime. Chicago’s defensive coaches had an extra week to prepare for the ex-Bear think tank of Adam Gase (head coach), Dowell Loggains (offensive coordinator), and Jeremiah Washburn (o-line coach), yet they couldn’t figure out a way to slow down the Dolphins’ offense. The Dolphins sent extra help to their tackles and the Bears only manged 4 quarterback hits, and zero sacks. With so much extra attention going to Chicago's edges, where was the inside blitz? The heat and humidity got to the Bears (more on that later), and Chicago allowed 541 yards in the game. Miami also picked up 23 first downs while converting on 8 of 17 third down tries (47%). The Fins had the time of possession edge 36:35 to 33:25. The Bears were flagged 6 times for 58 yards, while the Dolphins got hit with 7 penalties for 67 yards. None of which were offensive holding. Let’s take a closer look at the playing time break downs for the Bears, and also some individual stats.OFFENSEThe playing time trend for Jordan Howard continues to shrink. The heat could have been a factor, but we won’t know until this next Sunday when the Bears host the New England Patriots. If it shrinks again, that’s a problem. Howard had 14 rushes for 69 yards, and a crucial fumble on the goal line. Tarik Cohen also had a crucial fumble in the game Bobby Massie Jersey , but he also had a rushing TD on 5 runs for 31 yards. He caught 7 of 9 targets for 90 yards. The other Bears’ turnover was a Mitchell Trubisky red zone interception on a horrible decision, but if you’re looking to blame this loss on him, then you might have some built-in biases that is leading you to an idiotic conclusion. He ended up throwing 31 passes while completing 22 of them for 316 yards and 3 TDs for a passer rating of 122.5. He fought back after a slow start (9 of 14 for 89 yards), which is what you need your quarterback to do. Trubisky completed 5 passes to Allen Robinson II and 5 to Taylor Gabriel. Robinson had 64 yards and a TD, while Gabriel had 110 yards. Gabriel also added a 9 yard run. Rookie wide out Anthony Miller was targeted 4 times and he caught one for a 29 yard TD. Tight end Trey Burton caught Trubisky’s other TD on a shovel pass. He had 4 receptions for 23 yards. Right tackle Bobby Massie was flagged twice for an illegal formation, but if you’re blaming him for those flags then you might be football-stupid. The Bears allowed 2 sacks, and 3 QB hits, and their overall yards per carry average was 5.3.DEFENSESo this happened yesterday...Could it be possible that this (Jahns’ tweet below) had an affect on that (Bowen’s tweet above)?I think so. Miami had 387 total yards in the second half and 154 total in the first. All that YAC helped Miami’s Brock Osweiler to a 94.9 passer rating. Roquan Smith led the Bears with 13 tackles. Fellow inside backer Danny Trevathan had 8 and a QBH. Leonard Floyd had 4 tackles, and 2 penalties. One for throwing a receiver to the ground that didn’t want to be tackled, and the another for grazing Osweilers helmet. Khalil Mack hurt his ankle early, and he ended up with 2 tackles.Defensive end Akiem Hicks, who finished with 7 tackles, 1 QBH, and a forced fumble, played too many snaps in my opinion. In that heat, at his size, that number should have been south of 75%. Eddie Goldman had 2 tackles and a fumble recovery and Jonathan Bullard had 3 tackles. Bilal Nichols had a tackle and Roy Robertson-Harris had a pass defended. Corner Kyle Fuller had 2 interceptions and 7 tackles. Prince Amukamara, who left after re-injuring his hammy, had 2 tackles, and nickleback Bryce Callahan had 7 tackles, a tackle for loss, and a QBH. Safety Adrian Amos had 9 tackles and a pass defended, and Eddie Jackson had 6 tackles. SPECIAL TEAMSThe above players listed only appeared in the third phase. Cody Parkey missed one kick on the afternoon; a 53 yard field goal in overtime. Pat O’Donnell punted twice for a 39.5 average and he put one inside the 20 yard line. To see the full statistical breakdown of the game, check out the ESPN box score and game recap. The pain of losing outweighs winning for Vic Fangio The Bears defense is currently first in Football Outsiders DVOA. They’re first in total yards allowed in the NFL. They have football’s first-ranked rushing defense, and are eighth-best against the pass. Only the Browns have forced more takeaways with 15 to the Bears’ 11. No one has forced more three-and-outs than Chicago. This is firmly, at least based on a four-game sample size https://www.thebearsfanshop.com/Adrian-Amos-Jersey , pro football’s best defense. None of that matters to defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. On Thursday at Halas Hall, reporters asked Fangio what he thinks of the Bears’ current defense, and whether he ebbs and flows with the team’s successes and failures. Knowing how the old school 60-year-old normally thinks in regards to his players and roster, the answers should have been predictable. “No,” said Fangio on whether he gets joy derived from the regular year. “It sounds like you guys already knew the answer to that,” as the press room laughed.Fangio has been around the NFL too long to let himself get caught up in the roller coaster emotions of a season on a week-to-week basis. If he did that, his NFL coaching career of over a quarter century with the Saints, Panthers, Colts, Texans, Ravens, 49ers, and now Bears wouldn’t nearly have lasted as long. It’s an even-keeled demeanor that’s served the veteran coach well. “I truly am a one-game-at-a-time guy,” Fangio continued. “I don’t get over-excited, over-anxious to play a division opponent, a conference opponent over an AFC opponent because I think they all count the same.”“The first order of business is your record. I think people sometimes lose sight of that. These games that you play, they all count the same.”It’s through looking at every matchup through the same prism that Fangio has become one of the NFL’s most highly-regarded defensive coordinators. It’s through a mentality of never being satisfied that he’s garnered any success, as striking as it may to be some on the outside. Even getting a nice winning streak going doesn’t get the juices flowing as much as falling in defeat. “I wish I did. Trust me,” said Fangio about his lack of thrills in winning consecutive games. “The pain of losing does not equal the excitement of winning.”The only way Fangio would likely ever be truly satisfied with the Bears and how his defense is playing, is if they won the Super Bowl. In light of that scenario, it’s fair to wonder if Fangio would actually finally put his feet up and relax. Of whether he’d do something like light a cigar and perhaps ... smile. A solid hunch says that Fangio would be more likely to continue working on preparations for next season, rather than revel in a title completely. The great ones all have their own strange but unique routines, after all. A routine of never being satisfied.
