Also at Thursday’s padded practice, newly signed practice squad receiver River Cracraft severely pulled a hamstring and was replaced by ex-Utah receiver Tim Patrick.

The Panthers probably have an idea of what the Falcons are going through.

“The hangover, it’s difficult. It really is,” Panthers coach Ron Rivera said, knowing his team went through it last year. “That’s difficult, and that’s hard. Unfortunately, we went through it, and now they’re dealing with it.”

The Falcons (4-3) have dealt with some puzzling results this season, but there is still time to put it together.

The Panthers (5-3) had a miserable 2016, the season after losing to the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl.

While the Panthers are going through a range of emotion with the trade of wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin this week to the Buffalo Bills, the Falcons are trying to go about things with a business-as-usual approach.

“Bringing (Clay) back has a chance to pay dividends off for us,” Rivera said.

Rivera said the Carolina rushing attack has stalled too often and part of that is that opponents haven’t felt threatened.

Atlanta’s offense has been rather inconsistent at times as well. This might be a difficult week to fix that.

Ryan added, “It’s a good challenge for us, blocking those guys (at linebacker).”

CLEVELAND (AP) Todd Haley has experience calling plays Kerryon Johnson Super Bowl LI Jersey , beating AFC North teams and working with star quarterbacks.

Just the kind of coach who could help the Browns win.

Haley, who was fired last week by Pittsburgh Adidas Evander Kane Jersey , has discussed Cleveland’s offensive coordinator position with Browns coach Hue Jackson, according to a person who spoke Sunday to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team is not confirming any interviews.

Haley spent six years with the Steelers before he was let go following a playoff loss to Jacksonville.

Jackson has handled offensive coordinator duties the past two seasons Authentic Mickey Mantle Jersey , but after going 0-16, he said he was open to hiring a coordinator. Jackson has previously interviewed Houston quarterbacks coach Sean Ryan and fired New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo about the job.

ESPN first reported the Browns were in ”serious talks” with Haley Saints Marcus Davenport Jersey , whose contract expired after the Steelers were stunned 45-42 by the Jaguars.

Jackson is very familiar with the 50-year-old Haley after years spent facing each other as division foes.

Haley worked as Arizona’s coordinator and was Kansas City’s head coach for two years before joining Mike Tomlin’s staff in Pittsburgh.

He occasionally butted heads with Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, but Haley also oversaw one of the NFL’s most elite offenses spearheaded by wide receiver Antonio Brown and running back Le’Veon Bell.

The Browns have struggled to score under Jackson Armani Watts Super Bowl LI Jersey , but Cleveland’s offense is set to get an infusion of talent. New general manager John Dorsey is likely to use either the No. 1 or No. 4 overall draft pick on a quarterback this year and the Browns are expected to be $100 million under the salary cap, money they can use for roster upgrades.

MIAMI – For the first time since 2004 Authentic Chukwuma Okorafor Jersey , the Buffalo Bills enter the last weekend of the regular season still alive for a potential playoff spot.

The Bills (8-7) visit the Miami Dolphins (6-9) at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. The Dolphins are out of playoff contention but are in a position to play spoiler against a Bills team that beat them just two weeks ago.

As for the Bills, a win would not guarantee them their first playoff berth since 1999. The Bills would also need a loss by the Baltimore Ravens against the Cincinnati Bengals or losses by the Los Angeles Chargers and the Tennessee Titans. The Chargers play host to the Oakland Raiders, and the Titans play host to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“If we don’t win, it’s not going to matter,” Bills coach Sean McDermott said of his team’s long-shot playoff hopes. “We need to focus on the task at hand.”

The Dolphins, who have now missed the playoffs 14 of the past 16 seasons, haven’t seemed very focused lately, losing seven of their past nine games.

In last week’s 29-13 loss at the Kansas City Chiefs Authentic Mike Hughes Jersey , Dolphins coach Adam Gase and standout receiver Jarvis Landry engaged in a sideline shouting match.

Both, though, have since downplayed the encounter.

Williams, who has a separated left shoulder, is Miami’s best pass-catcher out of the backfield. Tankersley, who has impressed this season as a third-round pick out of Clemson Wholesale Orlando Brown Jr. Jersey , has missed the past three games due to an ankle injury.

The Dolphins offense, missing starting linemen Jermon Bushrod and Ja’Wuan James, tight end Julius Thomas and original starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill – all due to injuries – has struggled to score and to hold on to the ball.

Miami is 28th in the league in points and 30th in turnovers lost.

The Bills’ defense, meanwhile, is sixth-best in interceptions, and Buffalo is 6-1 when it forces at least two turnovers.

Buffalo’s defense is vulnerable to the run, ranking 30th in the league. But Miami is last in the league in rush attempts and hasn’t shown the tenacity to stick with the ground game on a consistent basis.

One curious trend for the Bills is that they have scored a combined total of just nine second-half points in their past five games, excluding an overtime touchdown that beat the Indianapolis Colts.

“We struggled early in the year scoring in the first half Wholesale Kentavius Street Jersey ,” Bills offensive coordinator Rick Dennison told BuffaloBills.com. “Now we’re scoring early and not scoring late. We’ll try to make adjustments, but it will come down to executing every play and being consistent.”

Buffalo’s offense hasn’t been a force, ranking 24th in the league in scoring. But Miami’s defense ranks 28th in points allowed.

Sunday’s game likely will be the final game as a Dolphins player for quarterback Jay Cutler, who is 6-7 as a starter this year and has a 19-14 touchdowns-to-interceptions ratio. Cutler was signed this past summer after Tannehill suffered a season-ending injury.

Other Dolphins players to watch include running back Kenyan Drake and Landry. Drake, a second-year pro, took over as a starter midway through the season and is averaging 4.8 yards per carry. ”We just thought when we get into the games down the stretch and we’re in the playoffs, we can have a guy that can play the game right,” McPhee said. ”Ryan did a good job of providing the line and getting us good, hard, safe minutes on some nights. Even though they’re not scoring like some of the other lines, they’re one of our better lines because they’re playing the game right.
