Let’s go for a walk: Internal linking
Posts and pages need links to be found. The more links you lead to a post, the more ways there are to get there.
You can compare it to a road through a forest: if there’s no road leading to a certain post, it’s pretty hard to find it. People need to go off track and look for a post themselves. It works the other way around too: the more roads to a post, the bigger the chance that someone goes that way. Obviously, it must lead to a must-see!
In today’s post, Meike explains how to use internal linking to help users and search engines find your best content.
