Lewis thought his spot was safe, even after Jacksonville signed Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Niles Paul last week. The Jaguars picked up an option in Lewis’ contract last month.

Lewis told The Associated Press he felt ”disrespected” by the timing of the move. It came a week after free agency began.

The 33-year-old Lewis, a first-round draft pick in 2006, played in 170 games with Jacksonville. His 375 receptions and 4,502 yards receiving both rank third in team history. He said he hopes to continue playing and would prefer to stay closer to his home and daughter in Los Angeles. INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Josh McDaniels has backed out of a deal to become the Indianapolis’ Colts new coach, a decision that shocked the franchise hours after it announced his hiring.

The Colts confirmed McDaniels’ decision in a statement Tuesday night after reports emerged that the Patriots’ offensive coordinator had opted to stay in New England with coach Bill Belichick.

McDaniels had agreed to contract terms with the Colts to replace the fired Chuck Pagano. A news conference had been scheduled for Wednesday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts said McDaniels informed them Tuesday evening that he would not sign the deal.

”Although we are surprised and disappointed, we will resume our head coaching search immediately and find the right fit to lead our team and organization on and off the field Authentic Bill Lee Jersey ,” the Colts said in the statement.

NEW YORK (AP) – Knicks All-Star Kristaps Porzingis has torn the ACL in his left knee.

Porzingis was hurt in the second quarter of New York’s loss to Milwaukee on Tuesday night. He dunked with 8:46 left in the half and landed awkwardly, crashing to the court and holding his left knee. He was eventually helped up and taken to the locker room.

He left the arena for an MRI exam that revealed the injury. Porzingis had scored 10 points before he was hurt. He was selected last month for his first All-Star appearance.

NEW YORK (AP) – The New York Liberty are remaining under the control of New York Knicks owner James Dolan and Madison Square Garden for now.

The WNBA team was put up for sale in November. An MSG executive confirmed to The Associated Press on Tuesday that Dolan’s group has decided to keep the Liberty at this time.

New York will move most of its games out of the Garden this season and into an arena in suburban Westchester County, two people familiar with the situation told the AP. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because no official announcement has been made.

The Liberty were one of the WNBA’s original franchises and have been owned by Dolan and Madison Square Garden since the league was founded in 1996.

TORONTO — The Toronto Maple Leafs and the St. Louis Blues hope to shake off the rust and recent losses when they return from their midseason vacations Tuesday night at the Air Canada Centre.

The Blues (26-17-3) lost three in a row before taking a six-day break in the schedule.

The Maple Leafs (25-17-3) lost two in a row before entering a five-day break.

”When you come in here and drop the ball, I’m not going to tolerate it,” Harbaugh said. ”The leash isn’t going to be long on that.” ?

Said Collins: ”You just can’t dwell on it. Can’t think about mistakes. I just have to keep going and do the right things.”

The Ravens have scored only seven touchdowns in four games, Flacco has six interceptions compared to four TD passes, and points are becoming increasingly hard to come by.

Marian Gaborik, Dustin Brown and Adrian Kemp scored during the lengthy man advantage, and Jonathan Quick made 32 saves for his third shutout of the season to lead the Kings to a 5-0 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night.

The Oilers got the power play after Oilers forward Patrick Maroon was given a major penalty for a hit to the head on Kings defenseman Drew Doughty late in the second period.

Brown said getting payback for the hit was a motivator.

”That’s part of it, especially when it’s probably our best player,” Brown said. ”But probably more so it’s a divisional game and we can finish it in the first five minutes of the third period. And that’s what we did.

Doughty left the game after the hit but was able to return in the third period.

Cam Talbot stopped 28 shots as Edmonton lost its fourth straight while getting outscored 18-6 in that stretch.

And others make ridiculous decisions with a chance to beat Tom Brady and Company; think back to the two most recent NFL championships the Patriots won, against Seattle and Atlanta.

The Steelers had no fear Sunday. And they had some real bad luck once more; in the AFC title contest last January, they lost Le’Veon Bell early. This time, it was Antonio Brown.

Yet they were in position to win, or at worst, force overtime. But Ben Roethlisberger gambled when he didn’t need to – and lost.

EDEN PRAIRIE Sylvester Williams Jersey Elite , Minn. (AP) The Minnesota Vikings are going to be short-handed on offense heading into an important home game against the rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Quarterback Sam Bradford, receiver Stefon Diggs and left guard Nick Easton were all ruled out by head coach Mike Zimmer on Friday after not practicing during the week. For a team that has already lost promising rookie running back Dalvin Cook for the season with a torn ACL, the uncertainty only increases.

Bradford aggravated a left knee injury in Monday’s win over Chicago that has plagued him since the season opener. He started the game, but looked uncomfortable for most of his time on the field before being replaced by Case Keenum late in the second quarter. His timetable to return to the practice field is unclear.

”I haven’t had him running sprints Adidas Derick Brassard Jersey ,” Zimmer said, ”but he’s been around.”

Keenum will get his fourth start of the year for the Vikings (3-2). But for the first time he’ll be without Diggs, who was leading the league in receiving yards before tweaking his groin against the Bears. It is the second consecutive year Diggs has battled a groin injury.
