Before I joined college, I had always known that having plenty of money was a cool thing. It meant independence and happiness which were the two things that I think strongly contributed to my good performance.I always took a part-time job at a construction firm as a foreman. I was paid $100 a day, and by the end of the long holiday, I would have saved between $ 5000 and $ 6000. I would use this money to buy myself books and others stationeries. The rest of the money was meant for traveling, partying and buying me niceties.

As a student, get something to do that can bring you money. Once you have money, your mind will be fully focused on studying and not worrying about financial problems.

I always believed that any opportunity that could contribute to easing any financial pressure on my side. I, therefore, applied for bursaries, financial grants, and federal study loans. The few grants and bursaries that I got fully covered my tuition and related expenses. I channeled my student loan to buying stocks and opening joint for selling fast foods. My mother did even need to pay my school fees since the student aids and the salary I got covered most of my educational needs. Therefore, researches for the available student aids and then ensure that you apply for all of them. It will help cushion your family from excessive financial stress as well as help them save and invest for the good of your siblings.

Studying with a purpose

When you get an opportunity to join college and attend your dream course, ensure that you dedicate enough efforts and time to achieve your ultimate goal.I studied smart always and frequently revisited my goals.
