32-21 and walk away with that W http://www.lionsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-ricky-jean-francois-jersey , bringing Detroit to a 3-3 record. While many players on the team had a great game, much of the focus was on rookie running back Kerryon Johnson. Racking up a total of 158 rushing yards, his performance was so solid that the entire halftime show was dedicated to him.And with Johnson making play after play, Lions had their best rushing day since 1997 at 248 yards. It turns out 1997 is quite a long time ago. In fact, we list a few things that happened in 1997—for perspective, of course.Ever-reliable Matt Prater kicked four successful field goals, including a impressive 50-yarder. He did so well that it elicited a reaction from one Detroit fan who laughed in the face of all who said you can’t play video games as a career.Did you know that Pride of Detroit has a YouTube page? Well, we do, and if you subscribe to it, you’ll get videos like this before anyone else, and that should make you feel all special inside. Subscribe here.Kellie Rowe is a contributor from Fox 2 News. Week 10 of the NFL season saw new contenders emerge and former contenders fall out of the playoff race. Here is where everyone stands through 10 weeks of the NFL season:1. New Orleans Saints (8-1; won 51-14 vs CIN) (- No change from last week)Drew Brees and the Saints offense was on yet another tear this week. They dropped 50 on the Bengals and the quarterback continued his MVP campaign with a near perfect 265-yard Kenny Golladay Jersey , three-touchdown performance. Mark Ingram had a 100-yard performance, and the best team in football kept on rolling. 2. Los Angeles Rams (9-1; won 36-31 vs SEA) (-)Todd Gurley added another 120 yards and a touchdown to his resume this week, and the Rams got their season back on track. Both Gurley and quarterback Jared Goff are receiving MVP attention this season and Los Angeles could lock up the NFC West next week if they knock off the Chiefs in a potential Super Bowl preview. 3. Kansas City Chiefs (9-1; won 26-14 vs ARI (+1)Kansas City’s offense had a down day against a poor Cardinals defense but they still got the job done and earned another win. Patrick Mahomes will have some challengers for MVP but 248 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions keeps him a top the MVP race. 4. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2-1; won 52-21 vs CAR) (+2)The Steelers are back. Ben Roethlisberger at Heinz Field is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster are the best receiver duo in the league and they embarrassed the Panthers secondary in the offense’s 50-point performance. They put a good team to the sword and have made their claim as Super Bowl contenders this season. 5. Los Angeles Chargers (7-2; won 20-6 vs OAK) (-)The “other team” in Los Angeles is quietly in the Super Bowl race themselves. Philip Rivers is still playing like an MVP candidate and Melvin Gordon is emerging as an elite back. They rolled over the Raiders. The Chargers are going to have to do everything they can to keep pace with the Chiefs before a December showdown that may decide the AFC West. 6. New England Patriots (7-3; lost 34-10 vs TEN) (-3)The thing about having a terrible defense and expecting the offense to always cover for you is that sometimes the offense can’t cover for you. Brady has had a few bad games this season and Week 10 was another. He only completed 21 of 41 passes and failed to throw a touchdown. None of the running backs could get going either, and the Patriots team was shut down by the Titans. 7. Chicago Bears (6-3; won 34-22 vs DET) (+3)Mitchell Trubisky may have played the best game of his young career as the Bears offense steamrolled the Detroit Lions. The pass rush dominated the Lions offensive line and while the defense allowed the Lions back in it late, they were great overall. This team is getting hot at the right time as a matchup with the Vikings that may decide the division is on the horizon. 8. Minnesota Vikings (5-3-1; BYE) (-1)Minnesota got a week off to prepare for an NFC North showdown against the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football. 9. Houston Texans (6-3; BYE) (-)The Texans got some time to rest and fix any ruptured lungs they may have, as they will try to continue their win streak in the Nation’s capital next week. 10. Washington (6-3; won 16-3 vs TB) (+1)Washington took “bend don’t break” defense to another level this week. They allowed 500 yards but a series of missed field goals and wacky turnovers held the Bucs to three points. Only managing 16 points against one of the worst defenses to ever play football is a little worrying but a win keeps them atop the NFC East.11. Carolina Panthers (6-3; lost 52-21 vs PIT) (-3)Carolina is a very top-heavy team and they were exposed for it on Thursday night. Cam Newton, Christian McCaffery and DJ Moore could not do enough against the Steelers as their defense was ran over. Rookie Donte Jackson had the worst game of his career. No one of that side of the ball looked any good. Carolina’s defense will need to sort things out if they want to maintain their playoff spot.12. Seattle Seahawks (4-5; lost 36-31 vs LAR) (-)Seattle came up just short against the Rams for the second time this season. Rookie first-round running back Rashaad Penny showed some signs of life and broke 100 yards for the first time in his career. Russell Wilson almost had 100 yards rushing himself. Seattle is similar to Carolina—a team with a lot of stars but not any depth—but a tougher schedule puts their wild card hopes in worst place. A huge game against the Packers on Thursday night could eliminate one from the playoffs. 13. Tennessee Titans (5-4; won 34-10 vs NE) (+5)The Titans offense that looked lost not too long ago has now scored 62 points over the past two weeks. Marcus Mariota is finally starting to look like a franchise quarterback and both Dion Lewis and Derrick Henry have done their part to boost the offense. The defense is finally finding its stride, and the Titans may be favorites in the AFC South once again after a huge victory over the Patriots this week. 14. Green Bay Packers (4-4-1; won 31-12 vs MIA) (+1) Aaron Jones is finally getting RB1 carries and he is proving to the entire league why Ty Montgomery was expendable. The running back had 145 and two touchdowns on 15 carries as he led the Packers to a crucial win to get back in the playoff race. 15. Cincinnati Bengals (5-5; lost 51-14 vs NO) (-)Every week I write the same thing here. The Bengals defense is the most underperforming unit in the NFL and the Saints erupted on them. This is one of the best rosters in the league, and they could cause some trouble in the playoffs, but they need to get out of their own way. 16. Baltimore Ravens (4-5; BYE) (+1)Baltimore will hope that the week off to prepare for the Bengals will be enough to get their season back on track with a win. 17. Dallas Cowboys (4-5; won 27-20 vs PHI) (+3)Dallas out-slugged the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday Night to win a huge game in the NFC East. Quarterback Dak Prescott had 270 yards and a touchdown while running back Ezekiel Elliott had 151 yards and a score of his own. Their defense held down the Eagles for much of the game as well. The Cowboys still have a chance to sneak into the NFC playoffs.18. Philadelphia Eagles (4-5; lost 27-20 vs DAL) (-5)The Eagles offense is having problems. The addition of Golden Tate did not quell all of their issues on offense Authentic Kerryon Johnson Jersey , and it took a while to crack the tough Dallas defense. Once their offense got going, it was the defense the failed them, as they failed to contain Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott. The defending champions are in trouble.19. Miami Dolphins (5-5; lost 31-12 vs GB) (-)Ryan Tannehill’s injury is still keeping him out of the lineup, and they won't have any success with Brock Osweiler under center. Their run defense is terrible, too, and the Packers were able to take advantage this week. A team that looked so exciting to start the year has fallen off a cliff.20. Indianapolis Colts (4-5; won 29-26 vs JAX) (+5)The Colts offense is starting to find its groove and they have played their way into the AFC playoff race. Andrew Luck is getting back to his pre-injured form. Eric Ebron is one of the best tight ends in football—and he scored three times against the Jaguars in Week 10. Indianapolis is a sneaky playoff threat in a lackluster AFC South.21. Atlanta Falcons (4-5; lost 28-16 vs CLE) (-5)Atlanta followed up their huge win against Washington last week with a stinker against the Browns. Matt Ryan was not at his best and the Falcons’ usually great offense had trouble cracking the Browns defense. Their defense could not contain Nick Chubb and the Falcons may have exited the playoff race as quickly as they entered it. 22. Denver Broncos (3-6; BYE) (-)Denver got a week of rest before tough back-to-back games against the Chargers and Steelers.23. Detroit Lions (3-6; lost 34-22 vs CHI) (-2)There are like five players on this team who look like competent football players. 24. Cleveland Browns (3-6-1; won 28-16 vs ATL) (+3)Rookie running back Nick Chubb has been on a tear this season. The Georgia product had 176 yards—including a franchise record 92-yard touchdown run. Fellow rookie Baker Mayfield added three touchdowns as well. On defense, rookie corner Denzel Ward looks like a star. Cleveland’s young core played well against the Falcons and that should make them excited going forward. 25. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-6; lost 29-26 vs IND) (-2)Jacksonville’s defense has lost its flare. They can not stop anything or anyone and a loss in Week 10 against the Colts may end any hopes they have at making the playoffs. 26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-6; lost 16-3 vs WAS) (-2)500 yards of offense only led to three points for the Bucs this week. That might be harder to do than actually scoring points so I respect it. 27. Buffalo Bills (3-7; won 41-10 vs NYJ) (+3)The Bills offense looked like a garbage fire for weeks and it turned out Matt Barkley was the hero they needed. The quarterback had 232 yards and two touchdowns in his NFL return. LeSean McCoy came back to life too, with 133 yards and two touchdowns on the day in a huge win over rival New York Jets. This team does not make sense. 28. New York Jets (3-7; lost 41-10 vs BUF) (-2)This game gave up 41 points to a Matt Barkley led offense. 29. New York Giants (2-7; won 27-23 vs SF) (-)A bad Giants team beat a bad 49ers team on prime time,30. Arizona Cardinals (2-7; lost 26-14 vs KC) (+1)They didn’t lose by 40 to the Chiefs at Arrowhead and Josh Rosen looked okay, so there were some positives this week. 31. San Francisco 49ers (2-8; lost 27-23 vs NYG) (-3)The roster is pretty devoid of talent at the moment and losing to the Giants on a late touchdown may be rock bottom.32. Oakland Raiders (1-8; lost 20-6 vs LAC) (-)The Oregon Ducks lost to the Utah Utes this week but Justin Herbert had three touchdowns in a decent performance.

Mike McCoy  Arizona Cardinals Hoodie trusted David Johnson last Sunday. The first three plays went to Johnson against Seattle. That’s trust. They put more blockers in the box and put the onus on Johnson to make the perimeter defender miss. That’s trust. They lined him out as a receiver. About time, but that’s trust. Against, the 49ers, if McCoy trusts Johnson again, they should win.One of the areas that I thought McCoy improved was using different formations. It seemed like previously you was clear as day when the Cardinals were going to run. Sunday it would be under center with three wide receivers and a tight end. Or out of shotgun with four receivers. He spread Seattle out and it worked. San Francisco gave up over 100 yards to a Chargers rushing offense that has an offensive line that has struggled as much as Arizona’s.It goes back to what we talked about after week one. Giving a guy like Johnson the ball under 15 times a game in mind-boggling. We saw against the Seahawks that eventually, he’s going to break one. Even though Johnson only had three catches Customized Arizona Cardinals Jerseys , his usage was so much better. It wasn’t anything crazy, either. Something as simple as this:The old “throw the ball to your best player” works. Give Johnson some confidence in space and I feel like it translates to him running better. We saw that Sunday and I believe we’ll see more of it against the 49ers. I believe he’ll break a long one off to the right side, an area where the 49ers struggle to stop the run.I do think it goes without saying that having a quarterback that can actually throw will help open things up for Johnson. I’m interested to see how much more the playbook opens up for Josh Rosen in his second start. As reports have swirled about cornerback Patrick Peterson wanting the Cardinals to trade him, Peterson has remained silent. Until now.Peterson released a statement today indicating that he’s committed to the Cardinals and not demanding a trade.“I’ve been incredibly frustrated with how the season has gone,” Peterson wrote. “But my energy is 100% focused on being part of the solution & helping us turn this around. I’ve never shied away from a challenge before and I’m not starting now. I have always given my all to the Cardinals organization, my teammates & fans. That is what I intend to do for the years to come. I am an Arizona Cardinal www.authenticsarizonacardinals.com , and my focus is on this week’s game.”The Cardinals have steadfastly insisted that they weren’t going to trade Peterson, and his statement suggests that he realizes that and will accept it. Peterson obviously isn’t happy that the Cardinals are one of the worst teams in the NFL, but he’s committed to making the best of the situation.

The Arizona Cardinals http://www.authenticsarizonacardinals.com/cheap-phil-dawson-jersey , an 0-3 team with nothing to lose, played scared. After two brilliant drives behind rookie Josh Rosen, the Cardinals had a first and ten from the Seattle 31, with 2:59 left in the game. They would hand the ball off on the next three plays, settling for a long Phil Dawson field goal and the 20 year veteran would push the 45-yard attempt wide right for the second miss on the day and the Cardinals would let the Seattle Seahawks walk down the field for a 20-17 win.The coaching decisions are really unforgivable, as the Cardinals played like a scared franchise, playing not to lose, taking the ball out of the hands of their rookie quarterback who was on fire, and instead settling to try a long field goal and hoping their defense could stop the Seahawks. It is an unfortunate end to what was a very nice performance from Josh Rosen today, as the rookie signal caller went 15/27 for 180 yards and a touchdown, despite having five passes dropped on the day.We saw the first 100+ total yard game from David Johnson on the season, as he finsihed with 71 yards and a touchdown rushing and 41 yards receiving. None of it really mattered though, as the coaching staff took a win away from a team in desperate need of one. This loss not only falls on Steve Wilks and Mike McCoy, but also Steve Keim http://www.authenticsarizonacardinals.com/cheap-jamar-taylor-jersey , who stayed with Dawson despite being severely out performed in the preseason, sighting his veteran presence and a need for late game clutch ability for a new staff.A bitterly disappointing loss for Josh Rosen and the Arizona Cardinals.Around the NFC West with SB Nation We are through two preseason games and the NFC West looks like a great fight for who will follow up the Los Angeles Rams.Yet, the Rams look vulnerable at some positions, so maybe they are not a sure thing?Let’s take a look around the NFC West with the help of SB Nation.Los Angeles Rams via Turf Show TimesHow the LA Rams’ salary cap would look after a deal for DL Aaron Donald - Turf Show TimesThe Rams are rumored to be close to locking up DPOY Aaron Donald with a long-term megadeal. Arizona Cardinal Authentic Patrick Peterson Jersey fans were given a showcase of what competent play-calling and quarterback play can look like. Before crashing down and losing their 14-0 lead, the team rejoiced after the Cardinals’ greatest weapon, David Johnson, got his first receiving touchdown of the year. Here’s a breakdown of the touchdown. This is a scissors concept in a Shotgun Doubles formation from the Cardinals. Sam Bradford motions Larry Fitzgerald into the offensive line in order to chip away at the pass rush before running a drag route into the middle of the field. The two outside receivers run deep post routes. Jermaine Gresham is lined up as a tight end on the right side of the offensive line and runs a flat route. Johnson runs a corner route from the backfield. The Bears are playing Cover 1. It’s man-to-man coverage with a single high safety and linebacker Roquan Smith playing a soft zone in the middle of the field, working off Bradford’s eyes. Following the snap, Johnson looks to be running a flat route Youth Robert Nkemdiche Jersey , taking his coverage linebacker, Danny Trevathan a bit far too outside. When Trevathan sees Johnson run vertically he attempts to recover but he’s already out of position. Sensing he’s been beat, Trevathan holds onto DJ in order to slow him down. Johnson runs to the corner in order to keep his matchup 1-on-1 with the linebacker and away from the deep safety. The man coverage keeps everyone occupied with their own receivers and far away enough from Johnson where he can work in open space. Any players that can aid Trevathan after he’s been beat are preoccupied. Smith, who backpedals after the snap, would be moving onto Fitzgerald’s drag route. Safety Eddie Jackson is dealing with the deep post routes coming at him in the end zone.It was encouraging to see the two largest factors working against the Cardinals offense, Bradford and McCoy Youth Ricky Seals-Jones Jersey , break out of their regular tendencies for this play to happen. Bradford ignores his open checkdowns, both Fitzgerald and Gresham are open but he opts for the primary receiver Johnson. And McCoy who hasn’t called many, if any routes for his running backs, allowed DJ to finally to run deep. Unfortunately, McCoy and Bradford’s success was short lived as we saw in the second half. With the Bradford era over in Arizona, we’ll have to wait and see how the play-calling adapts to Josh Rosen’s strengths. I don’t need to re-hash what happened against the Rams. You are aware. It was ugly. So looking ahead Youth Justin Pugh Jersey , I’ll give you three Cardinals that need to bounce back Sunday against the Bears. The offensive lineThat’s right. The entire starting five. This is why it’s ever tough to take stock in what you see during the preseason. The starters looked much improved in a couple quarters worth of action. Now that it’s the real deal, each one of the starters have played poorly. Here is Aaron Donald against the Cardinals last week:Things will be equally as difficult against the Bears. Chicago has the most sacks of any defense in the league. They are stout across the front line. Against Seattle the Bears had eight QB hits and 6 sacks. If Arizona wants to cross mid-field, the entire starting line will need to be better.Mike McCoyI know the offensive line is bad. There are ways to at least scheme out of it. That hasn’t happened enough from offensive coordinator Mike McCoy. One of the most common misconceptions about play-action is that you need a successful run game for it to work. That’s not the case. McCoy sure seems to think so. He’s used it on an NFL low 6% of the time. The NFL average is right around 20%. Running it on early downs could go a long way in both getting Sam Bradford some confidence giving him some easy throws as well as being able to loosen up the defense. The team is averaging 4.7 more yards per play when it runs play-action. That’s the fifth biggest differential in the NFL.The offense is lacking creativity and isn’t putting it’s best players in a position to succeed. You don’t need to run 100 different types of plays to be successful. Look at the Rams, for example. Sean McVay and company run the same handful of plays but use several different motions and formations. That’s creativity.Jamar TaylorIf Arizona is smart Patrick Peterson will follow Allen Robinson into the bathroom. If Peterson continues to play on the left side, like he has 70% of the time this year, Taylor will have a big target on his back. Against the Rams Taylor gave up some big chunk plays. He couldn’t run with Brandin Cooks Cheap Mason Cole Jersey , and he couldn’t stay with Cooper Kupp. He has to be better. Taylor was never a star, but he’s played much better than what he showed last week. The Bears second and third options are the shiftier type. Taylor will need to be prepared for both the deep shots, and ready to tackle underneath. If he’s not able to, he won’t be starting for much longer.

Well over half the team and starters arrived this offseason There’s turnover and then there’s what has happened to the Raiders this offseason. They went 6-10 last season http://www.raidersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-p.j.-hall-jersey , but with as many new players as Jon Gruden has brought in, you’d have a hard time believing they’re just a season removed from being a 12-4 playoff team.As we approach the start of the 2018 season, here is how the Raiders squad was built:Count ‘em up. That’s 29 of the Raiders current 53-man roster who weren’t here before this year. Well over half the team. That leaves 24 holdovers. There were 27 former Raiders draft picks alone on this team when Jon Gruden was hired. Now there are just ten, and only two from the 2017 draft — Gareon Conley and Marquel Lee.Of those 29 newbies, 14 are either starters on offense or defense or the primary position holder on special teams. That’s nearly half the starters and every single special teams position holder (kicker, punter, long snapper, kick/punt returner). There are only 9 positions which will have the same starter as last year according to the first depth chart — QB Derek Carr Gareon Conley Jersey , RB Marshawn Lynch, WR Amari Cooper, TE Jared Cook, LG Kelechi Osemele, C Rodney Hudson, RG Gabe Jackson, DT Justin Ellis, and S Karl Joseph.Follow @LeviDamien As we pointed out recently Youth Derek Carrier Jersey , with so much turnover the task of finding even 12 returning players can be difficult. This was obvious when we posted the Raiders 2018 calendar and 7 of the 12 players on it were not on the team’s active roster this season. In many cases if a Raiders fan kept the calendar up, they were staring at former players. Often painfully, as was the case with October where Khalil Mack was featured. The question is if there are even 12 players on this team who figure to be back next season, let alone be worthy of being the face of the team for a whole month. Let’s see.Current Raiders starters who are under contract next season are as follows:Offense (7)QB Derek CarrWR Jordy NelsonG Kelechi OsemeleC Rodney HudsonG Gabe JacksonT Kolton MillerT Brandon ParkerDefense (5)LB Tahir WhiteheadLB Marquel LeeDT Justin Ellis DT Maurice HurstCB Gareon ConleyTotal: 12And that’s it. Out of 22 starters, nearly half of them will see their contract up after this season.Other sometimes starters include fullback Keith Smith, slot receiver Seth Roberts, blocking tight end Lee Smith, and situational pass rusher Arden Key.Starters who the team could look to re-sign include Jared Cook and Daryl Worley.Making it quite likely we will see at least 8 new starters next season at running back http://www.raidersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-mike-nugent-jersey , wide receiver, linebacker, defensive end (2), cornerback, and safety (2).Follow @LeviDamien

hope he can Womens Kolton Miller Jersey  contribute vs Broncos It’s tough to get a bead on what is going on with Martavis Bryant and his status with the Raiders at any given point. Jon Gruden and company sent a third round pick to Pittsburgh to acquire the troubled but talented wide receiver, with Gruden citing Bryant’s practice habits which he noted while he was visited the team on assignment for ESPN’s Monday Night Football. The luster wore off quickly for Bryant with regard to Gruden’s opinion of him. Several times at training camp the head coach made comments showing his displeasure with where Bryant was with regard to the playbook, Bryant’s last of versatility, and his missing practices with migraines.Even still, Gruden traded for him for a reason so that should have been enough to have him on the roster come the season. Then reports surfaced that Bryant was looking at a suspension. And with that suspension looming, Bryant was cut.At the time Gruden said it was simply Bryant’s lack of versatility along with 2017 practice squad player Keon Hatcher beating him out. That reason always seemed like a real stretch. Then after week one, with Hatcher not playing a snap on offense and an official suspension for Bryant had yet to be handed down, Bryant was welcomed back and Hatcher was cut. And we had our answer. What changed? Well, the fact that contracts aren’t guaranteed after week one. That makes Bryant’s one-year deal actual a game-by-game situation. But Gruden says Bryant’s mentally and physically ready, when perhaps he wasn’t two weeks ago.“One of the reasons he was outperformed is he was inconsistently available. He was sick. He had lingering problems,” Gruden said of Bryant. “I think he’s in a really good place right now. I’ve seen him in a really good place, and when he’s in a really good place, he can be a really good player in this league. He’s proven that.”Gruden added that he thinks Bryant is “ready to go.” Gruden and his quarterback seem to have had the same conversation.“I definitely talked to Martavis. I love him. I’m glad he’s back. I got to talk to him and I think he’s ready to go. I think he’s in a good place,” said Derek Carr. “I think that with everything he has been through, he’s just thankful to be playing football. He’s thankful to be back in the locker room. . . With us, we can be there for him. Help him with whatever he needs and then he can help us to win football games. We obviously know what kind of talent he is and so very excited to have him back and have that threat of that speed.”They need that speed and deep threat desperately. Last week against the Rams, the wide receivers had a total of 43 yards receiving and the longest pass play to a receiver went for 17 yards (Jordy Nelson). To be fair, they were facing one of the best secondaries in the NFL featuring Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters. This week, they face Talib’s former team in Denver but won’t get much relief from the likes of Chris Harris Jr and Bradley Roby. So, obviously any and all added weapons in the receiving corps is welcome, adding a threat they don’t have otherwise.“Well http://www.oaklandraidersteamonline.com/reggie-nelson-jersey , I mean he gives them a serious vertical threat,” Broncos head coach Vance Joseph said this week. “I mean this guy over the years has made big plays in the screen game and obviously on the long ball. I faced him six or seven times when I coached in Cincinnati and he always made a big play on us. He’s obviously a match-up problem so we have to have a plan when he is in the game to play him top-down.”Having spent the offseason and training camp with the team, even if he did miss extensive time, raises the chances Bryant could play this Sunday. But it will still take some extra work to see to it he’s up to speed.“We definitely have to spend time. There is no doubt about it,” Derek Carr said of staying after practice to get extra work with Bryant. . . “but I will say too that the days that he did practice, after practice we would go off and make sure that we’d do those deeper throws. Those quicker routes that we need him on. We definitely made sure we spent extra time because as you saw there were some things that he missed, and we said hey let’s make it up.”Aside from the time he missed sporadically in training camp, Bryant missed the week of preparation for the season opener, so he’s got to get back on the same page with his quarterback and this offense. And there is, of course, still the possibility that this suspension could come down any day. Much like happened with Aldon Smith when he signed with the Raiders awaiting word on a suspension. He played nine games before getting his NFL ban.All the Raiders are hoping for at this point is that he is available for the next game. That goes especially for this week facing a bitter division rival coming off a win to open the season. Gruden says he’s giving Bryant every opportunity to play this week. They’ll cross the suspension bridge when they come to it.Follow @LeviDamienRaiderdamus’ Friday Foretelling: Raiders vs. Rams We are required to inform you that these Foretellings are works of satire and are not for the faint of heart. It is I, the Alpha, the Omega, the Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah, your hero and your paragon of virtue, Raiderdamus the Great and Powerful. After months of slumber, I have once again summoned the almighty Great Beyond, who knows all, and instead of using his powers of prognostication to benefit mankind, I choose to use them to find out the outcomes of football games. Surely http://www.oaklandraidersteamonline.com/seth-roberts-jersey , I am a great humanitarian.Today I begin my eighth consecutive season of summoning up the Great Beyond and consulting him regarding the fate of the Raiders. It’s been a long and prosperous run, mostly full of predicting a bad team to lose, and I’m glad we all get to continue to share it together.I know you are all here wishing for some ado, but I have to disappoint you all, because we shall dispense with any further ado and present to you the message that was given to me this week by the Great Beyond himself. Reflect on it, o mortals, and tremble.“You again! How many years in a row have you harassed me every week, wanting to know the fate of your bumbling pirate crew? I suppose it is a respite from my boredom, all they have up here to watch is reruns of Doogie Howser M.D. Hurr durr I am very smart but don’t know how to deal with women, I am so unique and deep, watch me keep a diary on my Apple II and write about life lessons I learned from my rich parents and my token Italian peasant friend.Looks like a new season has started! You fired your coach? Well that’s okay, he wasn’t very good. Wait, you hired the loudmouth from Monday Night Football? Oh boy. I bet that’s a circus. You traded who now? And you’re playing who on Monday Night Football to open the year? That all sounds dismal. But let’s talk about the Rams for a minute. The team is owned by Stan Kroenke, who looks like Jeff Fisher had sex with Ted Turner.Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY SportsKroenke manages to be the most unlikable owner in the NFL, which is remarkable, as that’s a list that includes Jed York, Jerry Jones, Dean Spanos, Jeffrey Lurie, Robert Kraft, and Jim Irsay.Mr. Kroenke came into his vast fortune by being a slum lord and marrying the heiress to the Wal-Mart fortune that looked the most like Nancy Grace. The Rams left Los Angeles the first time in 1994 Womens Donald Penn Jersey , and nobody noticed. They won a Super Bowl in St. Louis, and nobody watched because they were playing the Titans, a team most NFL fans couldn’t identify in a police lineup. Then they returned to Los Angeles a few years ago, to the delight of no one whatsoever. The Rams are, if you think about it, the perfect American success story. They came from the Midwest to the bright lights of Los Angeles and managed to pursue their lifelong dream of being the first extra killed in the NFL Playoffs. They got to their position by going down repeatedly in ways they regretted the next day. To say that the Rams are an afterthought in Los Angeles would be a mild understatement. He is used to owning the least popular professional team in its own city. The fortune brought to the NFL by Kroenke, who bought the Rams many years ago from strung-out rodeo clown Georgia Frontiere, was the impetus for placing the Rams in Los Angeles to begin with, as they are building their own stadium with Sam Walton’s money. If Walton were alive today to know he was financing a team as shitty as the Rams, he’d be so angry he’d probably whip a few more underage Chinese sweatshop workers, and all those Faded Glory labels would be stained. But to make the deal work, the Rams had to share their new palatial estates with a team even less popular than they, which was a tall order considering the negative four people who give two shits about the Rams. The Raiders, being arguably the second most popular team in the world, were right out. But luckily, someone else was more than happy to fill the void.Getty ImagesIn order to draw eyes to their product and distract potential viewers from their normal day-to-day schedule of tax evasion, recreational drug use and senseless gang violence, the Rams went on a massive spending spree this free agency period. They brought in three megastars on defense- Ndamukong Suh, Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters. Because we all know that discipline Womens Kelechi Osemele Jersey , fair play and abiding by the rules of football were all things that held the Rams back last year. Photo by Neilson Barnard/Getty ImagesBut this year, Los Angeles has brought in one real winner, one man who has tasted championship gold, a man who knows how to win when the rest of his team isn’t up to par. They don’t exist. The man is a Greek god, with the jawline of Horatio Hornblower and the physique of Lex Luger. Even in high school, he looked like the platonic Prom King. His issue is that no matter how much facial hair he grows, he still looks like he gets a lollipop every time he goes to the bank and he has to sit on a phonebook when the barber cuts his hair. And he still gets that godawful Andy Dalton haircut. The Raiders may have just traded the best edge rusher in the NFL, but the Rams have avoided that problem by not employing any edge rushers at all. That is good news for the Raiders’ tackles, who are 1) a rookie and 2) a veteran who has forgotten how to turn right. Jon Gruden will have to call for a pit stop so Donald Penn will stop turning left. The Rams are one of the most talented teams in the NFL, with a star-studded roster and a fantastic, cost controlled quarterback. Soon they’ll have a brand new stadium where all 237 Rams fans can watch them from the height of luxury. It will be in Inglewood, which is notoriously up to no good, and I am certain it will go up in flames the first time the Rams go 4-12, which will likely be as soon as they have to pay Jared Goff his six-year, $250 million contract in 2021. Because if they don’t, the fucking Bears will.Rams win, 45-29.”

Time to put that to the test! Week 11 boasts shockingly few real stakes http://www.atlantafalconsteamonline.com/matt-ryan-jersey , at least until the upsets start happening. The upsets gods must find a way to see us through. Below, the Watch Grid attempts to sort your weekend by watchability. As always, watchability is not determined by the quality of your favorite football team, because such glory cannot be contained within a spreadsheet of any size. Your streaming links are here. [Weeknight games removed, for your Saturday convenience.] Saturday Calvin Ridley Jersey Limited , Nov. 10 college football schedule I’ve been doing the Watch Grid for a long time now, and I can’t remember ever straining this hard to find a WATCH THIS game. This is blatantly generous to Texas-Texas Tech, but we’ve got to have at least ONE game in that column, right? Arguments could be made for Ohio State-Michigan State (maybe a blowout, but definitely ugly) http://www.atlantafalconsteamonline.com/calvin-ridley-jersey , Bedlam (probably a blowout), Auburn-Georgia (potentially a blowout, but probably very stupid), or Clemson-Boston College (maybe not a bad choice) as WATCH THIS games, but would you really expect your casual-fan neighbor to come over just for any of those games? All that said: every college football weekend is a good college football weekend. Dumb and beautiful things will happen no matter what’s on the schedule http://www.falconsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-de_vondre-campbell-jersey , and there’s always a chance we stumble into another BLOOD WEEK.Falcons roster cuts: Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff break down the day Now that the Falcons have reduced their roster to 52 players, General Manager Thomas Dimitroff and head coach Dan Quinn held a press conference to address the moves and to speak about what to look for from the team in the days and weeks ahead. Here are some highlights from the presser:The HighlightsThe practice squad will be nailed down in the next 24 hours or so, but they will continue to watch the waiver wire.Quinn emphasized they can and probably will still make moves to reshape the roster not only through this week, but through the first few weeks of the season.Special teams ability helped guys like Richard Jarvis make the 53-man roster.Quinn and Dimitroff emphasized they are continually looking 2 to 3 years out, thinking of who they can develop now to be ready to take over in the future.Scouting staff is working tirelessly on guys who may be cut by other teams that could be a good fit with the Falcons. Coordination with the coaching staff is always ongoing. The open spot on the 53-man roster is flexible. There’s not one particular position they are currently honing in on.Quinn emphasized that guys like Keanu Neal Youth Keanu Neal Jersey , Deion Jones and Jake Matthews all had fantastic offseasons.Matt Gono is a guy they think can be a swing tackle. Still very raw but has traits to build on. He stayed during the summer to get as much of an edge as possible.Quick thoughts:Thomas Dimitroff and Dan Quinn seemed to emphasize that the roster is still in flux somewhat. The idea they could still reshape the 53-man roster through the first few weeks of the season was intriguing. They also did not shy away from the idea that they are intentionally developing guys for the long-term in the hopes of avoiding having to spend big on every single position in the future. The business-minded approach to development really came through strongly.Never under sell how important special teams ability really is. Several guys made the roster based almost solely on their ability to contribute on teams. While the team is focused on developing guys, they also need a group of guys they can rely on from day one.For a more extensive breakdown, check out my thread on twitter:

But it seems like NFL officials have trouble getting on the same page about when it’s appropriate to issue a personal foul for the hit and when to throw the flag at all.Take Thursday night’s Panthers-Steelers game for example. In the third quarter http://www.atlantafalconsteamonline.com/matt-bosher-jersey , Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger ran the ball for 18 yards, easily converting a first down and sliding around the Panthers’ 14-yard line.Carolina safety Eric Reid attempted to tackle Roethlisberger. His shoulder made contact with the quarterback’s helmet, landing a nasty hit on Big Ben. It didn’t take long for the officials to give Reid a personal foul for unnecessary roughness and eject him from the game. Nobody is arguing that Reid didn’t deserve a personal foul, but fans are wondering where the consistency is on these types of calls this season.Earlier in this same game, Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt made a questionable hit on Panthers quarterback Cam Newton. But there was no ejection, let a lone a flag.Just weeks ago, there were two helmet hits against quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Baker Mayfield that weren’t flagged as well.NFL officials need to work on issuing penalties consistently; otherwise they’re going to keep facing frustrated fans and even more frustrated players.Polls reveal that Saints fans are the biggest homers in the NFC South by a wide margin As part of our ongoing FanPulse efforts here at SB Nation, fans of each NFC South team were asked who they thought the best team in the division was. I thought the results were worth sharing because of what they reveal about each fanbase’s psyche at the moment. (Sign up here to take our weekly Falcons survey)The Falcoholic Painfully, most of the fans polled here agree that the Saints are the best team in the division, something that’s impossible to quibble with based on record and healthy talent. A brave 28% of fans polled think Atlanta’s the best team despite their ugly record, injury issues and terrible defense thus far Womens Brandon Fusco Jersey , while a further 15% went for an up-and-down Panthers squad. As is proper, only 1% thought the Bucs were anything other than a paper pirate. How about the rest of our divisional blogs, though? Cat Scratch ReaderOh, this is a little bit more homer-y. Nearly 70% of Panthers fans polled think they’re the best team in the division, compared to 32% for the Saints and 0% for the Falcons and Bucs. I don’t think the Panthers are actually better than the Saints, but hey, you teal fellas and ladies do you.Bucs NationThere’s a mix of pragmatists and believers here. More Bucs fans than Falcons fans were able to force themselves to admit that New Orleans is currently the best team in the division, but a full 20% of them insanely thought the Bucs were the best team in the division despite a catastrophically terrible defense and their predictable fall-off over the last two games. Tampa Bay doesn’t lack for talent, but they lack for results, and personally I’ll need to see them right the ship in a major way in the coming ways if I’m not going to dismiss them out of hand like I do every year. But again, every fanbase should have its homers Womens Desmond Trufant Jersey , as is natural.Speaking of which...Canal Street Chronicles That’s the good stuff. Every single Saints fan polled thought New Orleans was the best team in the NFC South. This result would, I suspect, hold up if the Saints were currently last in the division, because Saints fans are true believers in a way that Falcons fans just are not. You have to admire that, in a way, despite our general disdain for the Saints. Anyways, they also are the best team in the division right now.If you’ll excuse me, I need to go throw up.

Alvin Kamara is a great running back. I think we can acknowledge that and still loathe him for his association with the Saints Authentic Matt Bosher Jersey , and so we shall. The question this week is how the Falcons plan to stop him, and whether that plan will be successful. The good news is that Kamara has scuffled a bit in back-to-back weeks on the ground, with 21 carries for just 75 yards, though he’s scored twice. The bad news is that he’s doing his usual fine work through the air, with 15 receptions for 165 yards already. Were this the same crew on defense as a year ago, I’d be pretty confident. The Falcons knocked Kamara out of the first meeting in 2017—I’m not endorsing that, just saying—which meant his numbers were quite low. The second time around, Kamara managed just 2.7 yards per carry and 32 yards on the ground, though he did get seven receptions for 58 yards. That was when Deion Jones and Keanu Neal were roaming the field, however, and much has changed since then. How should the Falcons stop Kamara? They need to focus on him. Obviously Michael Thomas and the other Saints receiving options are plenty capable, but this secondary remains very good, and a year ago the team managed to not let Thomas kill them, even if he was quite good. Kamara needs to be priority ,1# and whenever possible Youth Matt Bryant Jersey , he needs to have someone dedicated to keeping an eye on him.In an ideal world, that’d be Deion Jones, but Jones isn’t in this game. That means it’s probably going to fall to Duke Riley and whoever else Marquand Manuel and Dan Quinn feel can handle such an onerous task, and the Falcons would be wise to switch things up if they’re burned early. As good as Drew Brees is and as good as this New Orleans offense can be, Kamara is still the biggest single threat in this game. If they get away from paying extra attention to him, he’ll likely make them pay. Will the Falcons be able to stop Kamara? This is a much trickier question to answer. Based on last week’s performance, if Riley has coverage responsibilities for Kamara it’s going to get hairy. Riley was game but made the wrong decision too many times against the Panthers and wound up either out of plays or making miscues that turned into big plays. The Falcons are asking an awful lot of him at the moment, but they don’t really have an obvious alternative unless they’re ready to move on to Foye Oluokun already. Riley will still probably get first crack at Kamara, but chances are good he’s going to wind up surrendering some significant yardage unless he’s made a drastic leap in a single week. The Falcons could then try putting Damontae Kazee or Foye Oluokun on him, or they could really go for it and put him up against one of the team’s cornerbacks who are equipped to deal with him. That’ll likely only become an option if he’s killing the Falcons, though, which unfortunately does seem like a legitimate possibility.I think ultimately the Falcons will find a way to keep Kamara from being the primary reason they lose this game. I also think he’s going to have a strong effort overall, and this week might determine whether Duke Riley stays in Deion Jones’ job going forward or not. It’s not always sunny in Philadelphia: Falcons vs. Eagles may have downpours, lightning You know game time is close when we start looking at weather, and oh man is game time close. We are mere hours away from kicking off another season. So why not start it off with some rain.We aren’t meteorologists at the Falcoholic. In fact http://www.falconsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-desmond-trufant-jersey , none of us even finished high school, but we can definitely read the weather forecast. There’s an over 40 percent chance of rain right around kickoff, with that number dropping off farther into the game. That feels very unofficial, so here’s word from a real meteorologist, Alex Sosnowski from Accuweather. If there’s lightning, the game will certainly be delayed. Nothing like starting out the season with a game delay. Announcers usually run out of anything interesting to say at least two hours before kickoff, so make sure you have enough booze to get through it.If Philadelphia is on the receiving end of a downpour, it should tilt the game a bit towards the Eagles. Preseason suggests Nick Foles has returned to being Nick Foles, and the team is both short Alshon Jeffery and his backup. The expectation was the Eagles would play conservative, we’d see multiple tight end sets, and Jay Ajayi frequently. The rain would limit passing for both teams, a definite plus for the Eagles. We will update with any new weather, but lets hope any rain is short lived.
