For how the game went and ended, from 黄剑's blog

Monday Open Thread: September 17 Youth Xavier Rhodes Jersey , 2018 Merry Monday, everyone!Well, that was great, and it sucked, and everything in between. I really don’t know where I am on the happiness scale. If you’re feeling the same as I am, you’re probably feeling a lot like this guy today:your mood after your team’s game winds up in a tieI’m also hungry for Thai food, and I had the urge to wear a suit and tie this morning. I’m not sure why..........I’m happy that the Vikings came back after being down by quite a bit late in the game. I’m happy that Kirk Cousins looks to be the real deal, and besides an interception that WAS NOT his fault (glares at Treadwell), had very few mistakes, and also played a very good game. The team didn’t give up, and they were playing in a place where it’s not easy to win........or tie. I’m also happy that I have a mute button on my TV, I used it before the game started, and I kept it on mute for the entire game, and it was wonderful. I find myself doing this more often than not anymore.I’m not happy that the officiating. I’ve never been a fan of Corrente, and my opinion of his officiating worsened yesterday. I’m not happy that the team was down late and that we were so close to getting beat by a lesser team. I’m not happy with the drops, and the Asiata-like bump-set interception that nearly sealed the win......for the wrong team. I’m not happy with our kicker. I’m not going to berate the guy for missing field goals, but those were two field goals that missed badly, and the other was a relatively easy and short kick that should have won the game on the road against our chief division rival, but didn’t. They all three missed to the right, so at least he’s consistent.Around the DN since our last open thread:Dan Persons has your post-game wrap-up.Jonah Dylan wants to talk about Daniel Carlson, as I’m sure many others do. I’ll bring the popcorn. From Ted, there’s a new host on Good Morning Gjallarhorn.Vikings news from other sources and news from around the rest of the NFL:From Vikings.com, catch Coach Zimmer’s post-game press conference, Kirk Cousins addressed the media as well, see all the game highlights, and there’s lots more to sift through in the media vault. At NFL.com, get all the scores and game highlights from week 2.We come to today’s media selection:Let’s let the great Bob Marley tell us how to feel.Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:No discussion of politics or religionNo feeding of the trollsThis isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the doorKeep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tagsNo pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employerIf you can’t disagree in a civil manner http://www.vikingsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-adam-thielen-jersey , feel free to go awayWhile navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasmWith that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up and tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, and try the head cheese.Jacksonville Jaguars at Minnesota Vikings: Game time, television coverage, radio and more For the first time since their thrilling NFC Divisional Playoff victory over the New Orleans Saints, the Minnesota Vikings will take the field at U.S. Bank Stadium. Of course, this is only preseason action, but their matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars should still provide plenty of entertainment for fans of the purple. So, how can you watch or hear all of the action on Saturday afternoon? Well, we’re here to help you with that.Television InfoJust like last week’s game, this week’s Vikings game will be televised nationwide on the NFL Network. Kickoff time from Minneapolis is much earlier than last weekend, as things are scheduled to kick off at noon Central. If your cable provider does not carry the NFL Network, or if you simply don’t have cable or satellite at all, you can watch the game locally on the following networks in the following markets:KMSP (FOX/9 - Minneapolis, MN)WDIO (ABC/10-13 - Duluth, MN)KTTC (CW/10.2 - Rochester, MN)KEYC (CBS/12 - Mankato, MN)KVRR (FOX/15 - Fargo, ND)KNDX (FOX/26 - Bismarck, ND)KXND (FOX/24 - Minot, ND)KSFY (CW/13.2 - Sioux Falls, SD)KGAN (CBS/2 - Cedar Rapids, IA)KCCI (MeTV/8.2 - Des Moines, IA)KPTH (FOX/44 - Sioux City, IA)KGCW (CW/23 - Quad Cities, IA)WKBT (CBS/8 - La Crosse, WI)KETV (MeTV/7.2 - Omaha, NE)If you are a Vikings fan in some of the southern reaches of the United States, you can get the Jaguars-centric broadcast on the following networks in the following markets:WJAX (CBS/47 - Jacksonville, FL)WRDQ (27 - Orlando, FL)WCTV (My/6.2 - Tallahassee, FL)WJHG (CW/7.2 - Panama City, FL)WCJB (CW/20.2 - Gainesville Linval Joseph Jersey , FL)WTVM (ABC/9 - Columbus, GA)WSAV (NBC/3 - Savannah, GA)WSWG (My/44.2 - Albany, GA)WPMI (NBC/15 - Mobile, AL)WTVY (My/4.2 - Dothan, AL)WIYC (Cozi/48 - Montgomery, AL)WTAT (FOX/24 - Charleston, SC)Radio InfoWhether you’re listening on the Vikings Radio Network or watching on television, you’ll be listening to the play-by-play for this one courtesy of the dulcet tones of Paul Allen and Pete Bercich, as the Vikings are going with a simulcast once again this preseason. You can click on the link above for a full listing of Vikings Radio Network affiliates throughout the midwest. If you have satellite radio, you can hear the Vikings Radio Network feed on Channel 88 on both the Sirius and XM dials. If you’re using the SiriusXM Online service or their phone app, the Vikings’ permanent home there is on Channel 819.Referee InfoEd Hochuli may have hung up his whistle after last season. . .but the GUN SHOW CARRIES ON! Yes, according to the folks at Football Zebras, the officiating crew for Saturday’s game will be led by Son of Gun Show, Shawn Hochuli. This is the younger Hochuli’s first season as a head referee, so he’s getting used to the idea of being in charge. We’ll see tomorrow if he even lifts.Bro.Weather InfoWell, since we’re at U.S. Bank Stadium, the weather isn’t going to be a factor during the game or anything like that. According to the folks at WeatherNation, temperatures at kickoff will be in the mid 80s with no chance of precipitation, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see the team have the big swivel doors open for Saturday’s contest.Streaming InfoThere are a couple of different options for streaming the game online via subscription, notably NFL Game Pass and Fubo.tv. It’s “free trial” season for Game Pass, so do with that information what you will.As far as other streams are concerned, do NOT. . .and I mean not in any way, shape, or form. . .promote illegal streaming sites on The Daily Norseman. Not in the comments, not in the FanPosts, not in the FanShots, not in the Game Thread, not anywhere. Don’t even hint at them. Trust me on this. If you’re that determined to watch the game via an illegal stream, do a Google search and find it on your own. And feel free to not blame us for any ill effects your computer or device might suffer as a result. That should be all of the information you need to follow along with all of the action as the Vikings make their return to Minneapolis on Saturday afternoon. We’ll have our Game Thread up about an hour before kickoff, as is tradition. Hope to see you here!
