Let’s get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ... from laiyongcai92's blog

Rob Weintraub’s All-NFC East Team - Football OutsidersQB: Carson Wentz Youth Ronald Darby Jersey , PHI. Right now, fans in Philly are calculating what the Kelly Blue Book value is for the Wentz Wagon, but the fact remains that in just 11 games Wentz put up considerably more DYAR (549) than anyone else in the division (Eli Manning was second with 344). Even if Nick Foles’ total of 74 in five games was prorated to a full season, it would come to much less than half of Carson’s numbers. Wentz was 12th in DVOA as well. Division winner Dak Prescott was 25th in DVOA, unlike 2016, when he piloted the Pokes to the division crown and was third in the NFL in that metric.Ranking the top 5 running backs in the 2019 NFL Draft - BGNJosh Jacobs is the savior of this running back class and we should be thankful for his declaration. His blend of play strength, athleticism, and receiving ability combine to form the most “complete” back in the class. The question is, if his film is so good, why did he accrue less than 300 touches at Alabama? To be honest, I have no clue. On one hand, it’s impressive that a 3-star recruit cracked the rotation at all considering Alabama’s stable of 5-star studs. On the other, shouldn’t it have been apparent that he was the guy this year? Damien Harris’ surprise return hurt his chances, but the major question is one I’m not qualified to answer. Putting the volume question aside, Jacobs has everything you want in a feature back except prolonged, proven results. He’s a playmaker in a sea of roleplayers and likely is the top workhorse selected. The best part? He looks pretty darn good scoring on mesh-sit wheel, an Eagles staple. The QB Scho Show #11: Super Bowl Extravaganza - BGN RadioMichael Kist is joined by Mark Schofield to break down Tom Brady, Jared Goff and much more in their Super Bowl special! Powered by SB Nation and Bleeding Green Nation.Malcolm Jenkins and Torrey Smith take exception with recent anti-Carson Wentz story - Inquirer“That’s not the guy that I know,” the former Eagle Smith said of the QB’s portrayal. Malcolm Jenkins continued to speak about against the Philly Voice article that painted Carson Wentz as a selfish, unaccountable diva, and former Eagles receiver Torrey Smith joined in, as well.Schwartz Adds Assistant - Iggles BlitzOne area where Burke has done well is takeaways. Four of the last five years, he’s been part of a defense that finished in the Top 11 in the league in takeaways. That was a major weakness for the Eagles in 2018. If Burke can help there, that would be huge. A lot of people were down on Schwartz and the defense during the 2018 season http://www.eaglesauthorizedshops.com/authentic-jake-elliott-jersey , but it sure looks like injuries were the primary problem, not coaching. Schwartz has 10 years of experience working with Burke. This is obviously a coach he knows and likes. The Eagles don’t need major schematic changes, but it certainly can’t hurt to bring in someone who could be a good fit for the staff. Burke knows Schwartz’s scheme and ideas. He’s also been away from Schwartz so he may have some new ideas to bring to the mix. I don’t see Burke as a successor to Schwartz. Doug Pederson would bring in a new DC, not let Schwartz hand pick his replacement. The Question Of Avonte Maddox And Where He Fits Best - PE.comOUTSIDE CORNERBACK: This is a very difficult group to project. The Eagles began the season with Ronald Darby and Jalen Mills starting on the outside at cornerback. Both of those players ended the year on Injured Reserve and Rasul Douglas and Maddox finished the season as the starters. Both of those young players made progress. Darby, rehabbing from a knee injury, is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in March. Mills is recovering from a foot injury that was serious enough to keep him sidelined for half the season. Second-year man Sidney Jones, who opened the season as the starting cornerback inside, battled a significant hamstring injury for the second half of the season. He needs to take a big next step in the offseason. There are some developmental players and young veterans, like Josh Hawkins and Chandon Sullivan, whom the Eagles have to consider in the equation as well.2018 NFL trade grades: The 30 most impactful of the past 365 days - ESPNHow much is one catch worth? Tate seemed to become a burden on the Eagles’ offense, which was already overfilled with options in the slot, and the former Seahawks and Lions standout racked up just 25.3 receiving yards per game with a lone touchdown during his eight games in Philly. After being marginalized, though, Tate came through with a big 28-yard catch over the middle of the field against the Bears in the wild-card game before bringing in a fourth-down throw from two yards out for a touchdown to give the Eagles a 16-15 lead with 1:01 to go. Tate finished his season with 18 yards against the Saints in the divisional round, and with the Eagles in rough salary-cap straits, he has likely played his last game in a Philly uniform. General manager Howie Roseman gave up a third-round pick and paid Tate $3.7 million, but with the Eagles likely sitting out unrestricted free agency, they should recoup a compensatory pick in 2020 for their troubles. With a wildly unimpressive wideout market available, Tate should get in excess of $10 million per year on a short-term deal, which should be enough to net the Eagles a fourth-round selection.Top-10 Free Agent Linebackers in 2019 - PFF1. Jordan Hicks. After missing much of the 2017 season with an Achilles injury, Hicks made big — and maybe unexpected — strides in multiple facets in 2018. The former third-round pick upped his efforts in run defense, as he posted a career-best 81.3 run-defense grade (10th) while missing just five tackles all season. As a result, Hicks posted a grade north of 80.0 for the second time in his career, and his upward trajectory makes him an enticing option in free agency.Who is Matt Burke? - Phin PhanaticThey also brought in a thumper inside in MLB Lawrence Timmons from Pittsburgh. Burke know’s the deficiencies in this group and that Miami need to get Linebackers who can excel against the run but are also efficient in pass coverage. The Dolphins will most likely target Temple LB Alshon Jeffery Jersey , Hasson Reddick at No.22 or look at Florida’ Jarrad Davis, Vanderbilt’s Zach Cunningham, Wisconsin’s T.J. Watt or Ohio State’s Raekwon McMillan depending on who is still there at No.54. Matt Burke was not a splashy hire, but the continuity he brings and his reputation around the League as a highly intelligent football coach should help the Dolphins. He is tasked with trying to turn around a Defense that has struggled since switching to a 4-3 back in 2012. While some may worry as this is Burke’s first job as a coordinator at any level, the Dolphins had success last season with a young and inexperienced coaching staff.15 Eagles identify their best and worst plays of the season - The AthleticJohnson: “I don’t know really. Worst, probably one of the strip sacks I had earlier in the season. I don’t know about best. There is no best. There is no good plays for us.” Wulf: “I don’t know, maybe you pass off a stunt well or something like that.” Johnson: “Nobody gives a f*** about that.”New Jersey court denies to overturn conviction for ex-NFL star Irving Fryar - 6ABCThe New Jersey Supreme Court won’t hear a request from former NFL star Irving Fryar to overturn his conviction for his role in a mortgage scam. The court announced its decision Tuesday but did not elaborate. Fryar and his mother were convicted in August 2015 of applying for mortgage loans in quick succession while using the same property as collateral. They eventually were found guilty of conspiracy and theft by deception. Fryar’s defense argued at trial he was the victim of a “con artist” who told him to carry out the scheme.Send Beau Allen up Mt. Which minor, underperforming, or possibly washed players should we have our eyes on this Sunday?Report: Bill Lazor interviews with Washington for QB coach opening - PFTWashington created an opening at quarterbacks coach this week when they promoted Kevin O’Connell to offensive coordinator and they reportedly interviewed former Bengals offensive coordinator Ken Zampese for the post. Albert Breer of SI.com reports that Bill Lazor interviewed for the post on Tuesday.Redskins Coaching News: Rob Ryan is Washington’s new ILB Coach - Hogs HavenThe Redskins announced they have hired Rob Ryan as their new Inside Linebackers Coach. The Redskins former ILB Coach Kirk Olivadotti left to take the same job with the Green Bay Packers. Rob Ryan has an unhelpful knack for having a decent year followed by disaster when he has been given any kind of power.Ranking all 61 Super Bowl starting quarterbacks - SB Nation17. He immediately grabbed his hand and ran to the sideline before being taken to the locker room for treatment and evaluation. He returned and played in three more series."Tyrod had a dislocated pinky but obviously they were able to get that back in place real quickly," coach Hue Jackson said on a conference call Friday. "It takes 15 seconds to do that. He has a bruised hand. He's sore. But he's going to be fine."Taylor's hand was wrapped as he made an appearance at a men's apparel store Friday night. He was relieved the injury wasn't serious, and said he's dealing with soreness but plans to practice Saturday."Everything came back negative, which is a good sign and we were able to put the finger back in place," he said. "It's my left hand, at the end of the day. So deal with it. It'll be sore for a couple of days, but it's nothing that's going to stop me."Taylor said the doctor had some trouble putting his finger back into place."I tried to be tough about it," he said. "I tried not to look at it. I saw that it did dislocate Authentic Nick Foles Jersey , but I tried to look away and let him do his thing. They're professionals. They know what they're doing when it comes to that stuff. It didn't pop back as quickly as I wanted it to."Jackson also said he doesn't expect rookie starting cornerback Denzel Ward to miss "much time, if any" because of back spasms. Ward, the No. 4 overall pick, got twisted while tackling Eagles tight end Zach Ertz.Jackson said he hasn't decided if the first-team offense will play in next week's exhibition finale at Detroit. Jackson wants his starters to get as much time together as possible and is still considering playing them against the Lions. The 29-year-old Taylor is in his first season with the Browns, who acquired him from Buffalo in a trade in March to stabilize a problematic position. Taylor will start until top overall pick Baker Mayfield is ready, and the Browns will gladly put that off until next season.Taylor has been a model mentor to Mayfield so far, and the eight-year veteran has impressed everyone with his work ethic and attitude. The Browns seemed caught off guard that Taylor, who stayed in the locker room for the second half on Thursday, left FirstEnergy Stadium before speaking with reporters.Taylor did post a thank you to Cleveland fans for their prayers on Twitter and said he was "doing well."Jackson said there was relief that Taylor wasn't more seriously hurt."Well, I definitely got the final thought that he was going to be fine when we decided to put him back in," Jackson said. "Obviously, when (head trainer) Joe Sheehan came back, he said 'Everything is fine. There are no issues. He can go back in.' Obviously, the player was very excited to go back in the game. Again, I felt he needed to, because our offensive football team at that time needed to play together."They needed his leadership. He needed to be out there playing with them. I think it is important for them to develop that chemistry, so I felt comfortable that when we put him back out there, things were OK. Obviously, when he was not there and he was inside before he came back, all kinds of thoughts go through your head. But I feel good about where he is and what he will be able to do in the future."NOTES: WR Josh Gordon will participate in walk-throughs over the weekend and it's possible he'll practice. The former Pro Bowl receiver has only been allowed to attend meetings, work on the side with trainers and watch since returning from a self-imposed absence in training camp. Gordon, who was on the sideline Thursday night, has played in only 10 games over the past four seasons because of suspensions from drug violations. ... Rookie Genard Avery (hip) will be sidelined "some time" but has not been ruled out of the opener. Avery had a strip-sack on the Eagles' Nick Foles. ... Starting S Damarious Randall sat out against the Eagles after a knee locked up during warmups. Jackson said he was held out as a precaution.
