Bittrex
and Binance’s US Platforms to Delist XRP
The U.S. trading platforms of
cryptocurrency exchanges Binance and Bittrex are removing XRP trading pairs
next month. Bittrex announced its XRP pairs, tied to ETH, USDT, USD, and BTC,
will be removed on January 15.
Similarly, Binance.US will
remove support for XRP on the morning of January 13. Trading and deposits
will cease at that point, but withdrawals are to be permitted after that day.
These will, however, require a memo stipulated on the Binance.US website.
The move comes after the SEC’s
lawsuit against Ripple, and follows similar plans from Bitstamp, Coinbase,
OKCoin, CrossTower, and Crypto.com.
