Ventures Becomes Enjin’s First Equity Investor
One of the world’s leading
cryptocurrency technology companies, Blockchain, announced Tuesday that its
venture arm had invested in Enjin, “a leading blockchain game development
company responsible for bringing over 40 games and apps to the Ethereum network.”
The investment makes Blockchain
Ventures—which concurrently announced it will partner with Enjin to help it
“transform the future of blockchain-based gaming”—the first equity investor
in the pioneering blockchain gaming company.
Noteworthily, Enjin made headlines earlier this year when it
partnered with Samsung Electronics to integrate its cryptocurrency wallet
with the technology giant’s new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S10.
