Eiko Roberts did the honors Friday on Japan Night at Dodger Stadium.

Wearing a jersey with her son’s No. 30 on the back Mark Bavaro Jersey , the Japan-born and raised Roberts stood between the mound and the plate to toss a strike.

”She’s got ice in her veins,” Dave Roberts joked before the game.

Eiko Roberts clapped and waved to the crowd before her son planted a kiss on her cheek and embraced her. They walked off the field with arms around each other.

”The biggest win was convincing her to say yes Donald Penn Jersey ,” Dave Roberts said, adding that his brother-in-law recently tutored his mother on throwing mechanics.

Roberts’ father Justin Coleman Jersey , Waymon, died in March 2017 at age 68. The elder Roberts was a career Marine who met his wife when he was stationed in Japan. Dave Roberts was born in Okinawa in 1972.

The Colts opened the season with several offensive linemen on either the physically unable to perform or non-football injury lists Jason McCourty Jersey , but they’ve all been cleared for action as of Friday morning.

The final player left on the PUP list was guard Jeremy Vujnovich, but the team announced that he has been returned to the active roster. Vujnovich is now eligible to start practicing with the team.

Vujnovich started all 16 games at left guard for the Colts last season Robert Quinn Jersey , but the fact that the team added guards Quenton Nelson and Braden Smith in the first two rounds of the draft makes for a pretty good review of how well he handled the job.

Vujnovich will likely be looking for work as a reserve this time around. There’s one less competitor for that role with Jack Mewhort announcing his retirement this week.
