On September 30, 2014, Forza Horizon 2 released the Xbox 360 and Xbox One in North America. The Xbox One game FM7 Credits is developed by Horizon developer playground and is assisted by 10 studios. The 360 version was developed by Sumo Digital. Xbox One has a dynamic weather system. On December 16, 2014, Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island was released. In March 2015, for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, it launched a cross-promotion independent expansion, "speed and passion", called Forza Horizon 2.
This is the last Forza of the Xbox 360, while the DLC belongs to the Xbox One. The expansion plan aims to collect 10 cars by using specially modified cars in different events. By developing Horizon as a playground game, Microsoft seems intent on publishing a new Forza title every year, "not making the sacrifice of a franchise that is handled by a developer every year". Seems Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport series will continue as a biennial series, this means that if Forza Horizon to launch the game, so next year, a Forza Motorsport game will be introduced, then the next year the Horizon of the game, and so on.
