MapleStory M gets an Excess life from Sletrry's blog

Highly suggested.KMST made some changes whose purpose is to prevent people from using a single Maplestory M Mesos ability to train (or boss).Things like adding cooldowns or requiring charge-up, effectively changing the playstyle of classes that used to rely on a single maplestory skill.

And I can't help but ask: why is this necessary? Some might say that spamming one maplestory skill daily every day is dull. So? The game has lots of classes which have to, or benefit from, alternating/chaining/combo'ing abilities. Play one of these if you discover the one-key classes dull. Individuals who chose the monotonous classes, presumably appreciate that playstyle.

Some might say that relying on a single maplestory ability is idle. As long as spamming one skill on class A doesn't get you any better rewards than varying abilities on class B (in terms of maplestory2 DPS or anything else), why not allow idle people be lazy?

Ultimately, there's the issue of keyweighting. If it's possible to spam one maplestory ability all day, a rock could do it for you. However, for this, there are other options, like forcing movement after a variety of attacks. The game has this, it merely must make certain all abilities are limited this manner. There's not any need to force people into buy Maple Mobile Mesos playstyles they don't enjoy, simply to prevent cheating.

Bottom line: Attempting to force the identical alternating-skill playstyle on all courses is bound to alienate a huge part of the game's players. I believe it's a mistake.
