This is largely concerning the Madhouse, but it applies to too many events in Maple, which have a part of RNG and
Cheap Maplestory2 Mesos
limited efforts. Thus, also things such as the Dark Lords of Darkness,
Hunter's Club, SAO (though that you had a paid element), etc. An event
needs to have a way to make sure everybody wins, given they strive hard
enough.
Examples for your Madhouse occasion: Allow going back
when reaching the Escape room, without using up another pass. It is
still possible not to find a particular page, even when allowed to
wander the Madhouse forever, but it becomes vanishingly unlikely. Make
it feasible to purchase any diary page you are missing by paying a few
(big) number of coins. This could either be the Vending Machine NPC, or
it could be some brand new shady NPC (like a greedy Orderly) that only
appears after you've cleared X amount of rooms.
Make the
opportunity for obtaining a page from the appropriate reactor go up with
the amount of efforts that you make, until it reaches 100% or till you
get the webpage. Consequently, if the chance of a Test Tube falling Page
2 starts out at 5%, then each time you activate a Test Tube it will go
up by another 5%, until after 20 Test Tubes you are guaranteed of
getting that webpage. When you receive the page the chance resets to 5
percent and remains there.
I am sure other methods can be
considered. The key part is, again : make sure everyone who makes a true
effort can finish the event. Making us work hard for our benefits is
fine. But making us work hard and after that still fail due to random
chance, is frustrating, enraging, and unfair. Real Life does that, but
we play games to escape the temptations of actual life, to not acquire
more of these.
After a couple frustrating efforts at the train
and also beating Shao, I have come up with a means to kill her for Zero
that should lead to no passing (it did for me, twice in a row,) plus a
couple(somewhat apparent, but still possibly helpful)hints for
penalizing the train. The majority of this relies on the ability "Time
Holding" so if you are too low to get that skill, this may not be as
helpful, but you still may get a few tips.
Always visit the left
as that is where the last car is along with the explosions you have to
escape from beginning on the right side. Stay on the top for so much as
you can as there's less things to block you and permit the explosions to
grab up to you. When you do need to head down, simply jump near the edge
of the surface of a vehicle and you should get inside another one.Don't
kill some of the monsters, just press
Maple story M Mesos
on your potions and walk beyond them.Make sure you have your "Rewind"
on in the event that you're large enough to have it. Should you make a
mistake along with the explosions are in view, use "Time Holding" and
attempt to get as far ahead of them as possible.
